Doolittles Woodfire Grill - Fargo
Family dinner for 6 on Doolittle's outdoor patio. Service was great and food too. They have a concrete top high top table for 8 that works perfectly for us. The only downfall wasn't attributable to Doolittle's as the Air National Guard was doing flyovers for touch and go landings at Fargo Hector Airport throughout our meal with a noisy C130.
Great meal, great food. After a long journey and looking over reviews this place was just what we needed to relax and enjoy our stay in Fargo.
Great Food & atmosphere. Every time I've been to Doolittle's it doesn't disappoint. Staff did a great job & management made a point to come by and wish us a happy anniversary. Great experience and will definitely be back
Food and atmosphere was great as always. Always love Doolittles
The food was excellent as usual. Adequate social distancing with seating at alternating booths and tables. Service was good. Nice quiet environment.
We enjoy eating at Doolittle's. The food is unique and the service is wonderful
The service was excellent. I ordered the Ribeye (medium) It was tough and only about 1/3 of it was cooked to medium. The rest was rare.... and did I mention tough? I won't be back
Food was great and service been to Doolittle’s a bunch and it’s never a disappointment.
The meal was amazing and our Server Phoenix was awesome
The crab ravioli was amazing! Great atmosphere. Very accommodating.
Very busy evening at Doolittle's but our reservation was honored right on time. Great table service and the food was solid. Things can get a little noisy and crowded when they are at capacity but our food came quickly. Doolittle's is our neighborhood hangout. Great staff and always accommodating.
Squash soup was awesome!!! Chicken is n my salad was dry
Depending upon what 'my friend' was looking for I would probably suggest trying another restaurant. The food quality appears to have decreased since two years ago. My mahi-mahi was overcooked (dry) the butternut squash served with it was good. I also had the chicken wild rice soup to start. The soup was bland. I added pepper but it was still missing a flavor. The wait staff was attentive. I also should note the bread plates on the table (stacked at end) were supposed to be clean but each plate had some debris on it! I grabbed plates from another table. At the end-- $97 dollars for 1 glass wine, 1 beer, 1 salad, 1 soup, 2 entrees.---not a good value considering the lack of flavor & dirty plates. Disappointing.
Food wasnt as good as expected, my steak was well undercooked
Service was slow and our server didn't check on us very much for drink refills, etc. We were seated right in the middle of the restaurant which was quite noisy so we'll likely request to be seated in a different spot next time we visit.
I was looking for vegan dishes as advertised but I had to stick to regular vegetarian courses which is not bad but I expected vegan specific meal.
The food was wonderful and well prepared (my rare steak was perfect), we could watch the baseball game from our table and our waitress was fabulous, making sure we had drink refills at all times.
The waitress was amazing. She knew the gluten free menu. She was friendly and kind. The place was super busy but was able to be seated right away!
I was very pleased with our attentive service and in general with the food. I had a wonderful pecan encrusted Walleye. My friend had to send her steak back to be cooked more, and she thought the potatoes were overdone. I love the energetic atmosphere. We were able to converse. I will definitely return.
It was a "hit and miss" with all of our entrees as there were 4 of us present. So would I recommend...yes and no. There were some "clean plates" on our table that had leftover food on it....it can happen and they were very apologetic about it. So it is nice to try different restaurants, but just wasn't our favorite stop.
Service not very attentive. Very chilly next to the front entrance. Ask for a different table. Food was good-soup and salad combination.
Dinner -chicken and ribs- was ok. Creme brûlée’ was very good. Service pretty good. Noisy. More of a family restaurant. Not a “couples or friends” type of restaurant. Disappointed in decor which was to be airplane themed - mostly it was painted planes on a border on the walls near ceiling.
Excellent meal, good service, and very nice atmosphere. It is one our regular places to eat out.
Great server named Dean! A+ experience. If we didn’t live in NJ, we would definitely come back!
Prompt, pleasant service, excellent value and the food was beyond our expectations. Great sides...not the boring usual veggies. Would definitely return.
This is an excellent restaurant. The food and service was superb.
One of our new favorite places to dine! The hanger steak was delicious and the service was excellent.
I've never had a less than stellar meal at Doolittle's - everything has always been excellent! The noise level was a bit overwhelming but it WAS a busy Saturday night. Our server was very attentive, offering additional bread and refilling water glasses as soon as she noticed they were a bit low. The walleye was perfectly done _ a good experience all around.
Great food and great service!
Great service made our food even more special and tasty. Lightening fast and pleasant service, manager and hostess....actually one of the best servers we have had in years and my husband and I visit many highly rated restaurants in Arizona, California, Minnesota with this lovely North Dakota restaurant rating among our top choices for all states that we often visit. Alessia, our server, deserves recognition from upper management...she was warm, friendly, funny and SO darn accurate in delivering the right order to each diner, including two picky teenaged boys. My husband and I will return to this location and hopefully we get the same wonderful server!
Always a great experience. Great atmosphere, great service!!
We always schedule a stop at Doolittle’s when in Fargo!
Excellent food. Excellent service. Ate on the patio. Definitely recommend the wings if you like spicy. Husband had rack of ribs and myself had the ahi tuna. Both delicious meals.
We had a wonderful dinner, excellent service. We will most certainly go there again!
Making a reservation was easy. Got us seated, fed, and out the door in less than hour! Perfect when needing to get back to work timely.
Food was beyond expectations. We were seated near kitchen on a very busy night so the noise level was elevated but that is the only negative.
Great Mother's Day outing. Very glad to have made a reservation as there were easily twenty five people waiting in the entry and around hostess desk. From the appetizers, walleye fingers and calamari, to the entrees and desserts, lemon semifreddo and molten lava cake, the food was superior. Service is always excellent at Doolittles, but it was exceptional given the magnitude of the crowd.
From the greeting at the door to the paying of the check, this place is top notch!!! The waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, however, not overbearing. Food was amazing!! Definitely going back.
We had reserved through open table and were seated right away (a large number of walk-ins were waiting). Or server, Shania, was promptly at the table and made some great recommendations for the appetizer- the Walleye fingers were very tasty. Our meal was served accurately and freshly prepared, and we all enjoyed our selections. My personal favorite was the pork chop.
