   I took the family for early dinner on Mother's day, though drastically disappointed by the place and staff. We reached around 6.30 when the place was getting bussier though plenty of tables were empty. The guy on the front desk was simply rude when we asked to move the table while giving place next to delivery counter. I strongly think he needs to take some lessons on the customer service in the service industry. The waitresses was scrablimg all over the place (clearly showed short staffing), she literally fell once on knees while running around. Food - we orderd Ragda Pattice from kids menu, which I bet no Kid can consume due to spice level. Dal Makhani and Mango chutney was the only good part of the dinner. Overall, overpriced and hyped place, which needs good work to fix the staffing and customer experience .

   The food was great, would recommend the lamb chop and the butter chicken. I wouldn't suggest the chips. It all was going well until we paid the bill by giving the waiter my card, he then passed the machine back to enter my pin. When he then gave me the receipt I noticed that I had been charged in GBP and not EURs at a rubbish FX rate compared what I had got in other places that day with Monzo and it also charged me a 3% fee for this rubbish fx conversion. When I mentioned this to the waiter after noticing he just shrugged and walked off. So make sure you have control of the card machine, as i'm sure it would of had to give the option of EUR or GBP and I am left wondering if part of the 3% is a commission to restaurant.

    The food was absolutely unbelievable, with lots of vegetarian options to choose from. The decor was fab and atmosphere wears excellent. Staff were so friendly and always readily available.

    Food was the best Indian food I’ve had and our server (I think his name was Bojan) was amazing. He was so smiley, quick to fill up water glasses, take our order, and even added a candle to our dessert for my boyfriends birthday! The building and decor is absolutely gorgeous too. The one thing I would say is it’s quite loud so you kind of have to raise your voice to have a conversation and the tables are all super close together. I’ll definitely be back, though!

    Food itself was nice but service very slow Drinks were very over priced.Had to ask for different items over the course of the meal.Drinks and deserts very delayed. Had to remind staff one of our main courses was not brought out. Was shocked by the bill when it arrived.Did not realise there was a service charge included as was not planning to leave a tip as everything was so slow.

    Everything was amazing. Just one small thing I would say is that the menu should make it clear which dishes come with rice. One of my party was disappointed not to receive any with his dish. Had assumed it would be included. Overall it was a fantastic evening and it did mot bother us too much!

    Really nice place to visit, excellent food which was very tasty, very good service. First visit to Doolally upon recommendation from a friend, will return again. One of the best Indian Restaurants in Dublin, well worth a visit and worthy of your business.
