Don’s Pomeroy House is a beautiful 167 year old historical landmark.The service is warm and truly friendly. We have an approachable, quality wine list. The fresh menu selections feature pristine Seafood along with USDA Steaks and Chops which are regarded as some of the finest in Northeast Ohio. This is the perfect place to dine and relax, entertain business or enjoy any special occasion. We offer several private dining options. There is also a lively pub, drawing a crowd where the atmosphere is casual and practically everyone knows your name. During the warmer months, alfresco dining under our canopy of trees is simply one of a kind. Please note, The Pub and The Patio do not accept reservations and are seated on a first come first serve basis. The Patio is non-smoking. We have dined many times before. I just felt the food not prepared and hot when arrived. It moderate at best, and at this point I chose this establishment for my wife's birthday. But, it just seems to have lost it ambience that we are accustomed to. Sad to say

The short ribs were very tough. Cutting it with a butter knife was challenging. Not pull apart or melt in your mouth like I was expecting. Everything else was good. Cheesecake, calamari, brussel sprouts. My boss had the tuna said it was good, my co worker had the filet mignon said it was good. Service was fantastic. I’ll maybe go with a steak next time.

todd, i tried to call but you, but were having wine tasting. i then seen email. mondays dinner was very nice, took my mother out. she loved it. most impressed by julia. very sweet girl, professional, and had good product knowledge. what ever your paying her is not enough! keep up the good work! thanks, Tommy D'Amico

Our server was very attentive, friendly, and efficient. He worked hard and did a great job! Our food was pretty good but nothing exceptional for the price. The broccoli cheddar quiche was just an average tasting quiche. The other plates ordered were two orders of beef stroganoff. Both diners said the meat was tough. It was not cut into bite sized pieces but steak strips. All other employees we had contact with were delightful and helpful.

Food was excellent! And our server was very nice but the other staff were a bit rude and towards the end of our meal at 8:30pm a staff member went around the dining room vacuuming…. Ruined the quiet atmosphere. Would still go back for the food.

We had a marvelous time for Valentine’s dinner. The staff was super friendly and everything ran perfectly. The food was absolutely delicious and although it isn’t inexpensive, it’s worth it. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.

Don's Pomeroy House is awesome! We enjoy the menu selections and the entrees are delicious. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Tammy was our server and as usual she did a tremendous job! We both commented on the nice background music being played as it was soothing as we enjoyed our meals.

This was my first time here and everything about this place is amazing!! The service when you walk in to the waitress being very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. The food especially was fantastic. I will definitely be returning back with my husband.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful Valentines Day dinner. We went the day before so not as busy but others had the same mindset we had and increasingly got busier as time went on. First time eating here but heard great things. Definitely lived up the hype. Service was great, teamwork was evident among staff, and food was outstanding. We got a bottle of wine, calamari for appetizer, split a Cesar salad and each got the Champagne Surf and Turf as one of their specials was $10 off and we were getting that anyways so it worked out perfect. Steaks cooked perfectly to medium rare, mashed potatoes and asparagus were amazing as well. Planned on getting desert but we’re too full from the delicious meal. Reasonably priced as it is a fine dining experience. Don’t find paying for great food. We will definitely be back! They have an outdoor patio as well. Go check it out!
