Don’s Pomeroy House is a beautiful 167 year old historical landmark.The service is warm and truly friendly. We have an approachable, quality wine list. The fresh menu selections feature pristine Seafood along with USDA Steaks and Chops which are regarded as some of the finest in Northeast Ohio. This is the perfect place to dine and relax, entertain business or enjoy any special occasion. We offer several private dining options. There is also a lively pub, drawing a crowd where the atmosphere is casual and practically everyone knows your name. During the warmer months, alfresco dining under our canopy of trees is simply one of a kind. Please note, The Pub and The Patio do not accept reservations and are seated on a first come first serve basis. The Patio is non-smoking. Simply put, we offer a unique cool atmosphere, warm friendly service and excellent quality food. We are located 10-15 minutes from Cleveland Hopkins airport, we hope to see you soon!

We enjoyed a fabulous Father’s Day meal at Don’s Pomeroy House. Our daughter and I had Filets, which were perfectly cooked and my husband throughly enjoyed the Scallops. Our server, Megan, was very attentive, kind and professional. My only issue was when reviewing the tab last night I discovered a $14.00 charge for Crispy Brussels that none of us ordered or received. UPDATE: Don’s contacted me about the error on the tab and will be sending us a Gift Certificate. Great Customer Service!

The food (steaks) were mediocre for the price; the service was slow. I don't think we'll go back because there are much better restaurants around for the same or less money.

Surf and turf was the worst ever! Steak was like leather and the lobster tail was tough. Such a disappointment for what was supposed to be a special evening.

Don's Pomeroy House delivered a great dining experience for us and another couple. The bar is isolated downstairs so we could engage in conversation in the quiet dining room. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered just the right level of attentiveness. The food was prepared as we ordered it and we enjoyed the dishes. Pacing of service was also quite good. We dined on a Thursday night so the dining room wasn't as busy as it might be on a Friday or Saturday night. If one has mobility issues, there is an entrance ramp available from the parking lot to the dining room. However once inside if you need to visit the bathrooms you have to walk down the steps to the bar area. The restaurant is in a historic building, so they're doing the best they can with facilitating access. Cost of dinner is not cheap, but the cost is competitive with other fine dining restaurants in the area.

Excellent server named Tammy! Food was great along with the service. Ambiance was good. People were appropriately dressed although that is beyond the restaurant's control but it does show respect for the venue! Nice quiet atmosphere. Overall great experience! Will definitely be back.

Nice setting. Good atmosphere for sit down family dinner. Service was professional but lacked additional charm. Food had a couple of highs, French Onion Soup in particular. Lows however for an excessively marbled Delmonico steak and a tasteless Faroe Island Parmesan Crusted Salmon. Wine list was good with a broad selection.
