    An exceptional venue that has stood the test of time and vastly overshadows it's monolithic sterile competitor down the track. This is an ambient beautiful restaurant, with a rich history; the dining and wine selections are first class. Highly recommended for a special occasion, this is fine dining at its best.

    What a fabulous lunch - the staff make the experience even more special. One of our group had very strict dietary requirements which were met with a ' no worries/can do' attitude. My second visit in a few months and will definitely return

    A perfect long lunch. Great menu and interesting flavours - something for everyone. Good wine list and the staff were very helpful. We were seated next to a window and the view was wonderful across the bay. A great place for a special occasion.

    I've been eating at Donovan's since it opened 24 years ago. It is my go-to place in Melbourne for special occasions - or just catching up with friends. Highly recommended.

    Food and service at Donavans is always outstanding. However given the already inflated food and drink prices it was disappointing to be charged $56 Sunday surcharge.
