    Overall wonderful experience and every single item we order was delicious! Everything was cooked to perfection. Our server was attentive and very helpful in making sure we received our meal exactly as requested.

    Everything was great except one thing mashed potatoes were pretty dry. We came into dinner around 6:30 so I wish they would’ve recirculated the mashed potatoes. Everything else was fantastic. Best crème brûlée Florida.

    Nice dinner. Food was great and service was fine. Tasty, ample portions. The meatball appetizer was great along with the Caesar salad. Mushroom risotto was memorable.

    Five Stars – A Hidden Gem in Riverview! Donovan’s Meatery Steakhouse is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a rustic-meets-modern atmosphere that sets the tone for a memorable meal. The steaks? Absolutely phenomenal. Perfectly aged, expertly seasoned, and grilled to perfection—each bite melts in your mouth. I highly recommend the ribeye, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The sides are just as impressive—especially the truffle mashed potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts. What really sets Donovan’s apart, though, is their drink selection. The pairings they offer elevate the dining experience to a whole new level. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned foodie, the staff is happy to guide you to the perfect pour. Service was top-notch, attentive without being intrusive, and the staff clearly takes pride in the food and the experience they deliver. If you’re in or near Riverview and looking for a place that combines bold flavors, excellent service, and a unique twist on the classic steakhouse, Donovan’s Meatery is a must-visit.     We had a wonderful 5th anniversary dinner at Donovan’s on Friday. The food was outstanding, and the service was even better (thank you, Heather!!). We love going to Donovan’s!

    The great alternative to the steakhouses in south Tampa if you don’t want to drive downtown and stay local.  respectable wine list, good cuts, great service.
