Welcome to Don Pepe Spanish Restaurant & Tapas Bar! Established in 1974 by the Garcia brothers, Jose (Pepe) and Alejandro, Don Pepe is London's oldest family run Spanish Restaurant & Tapas Bar. It has withstood the test of time, and where many have come and gone, Don Pepe has thrived and continues to offer excellent value authentic Spanish cuisine. An informal dining experience. With over 30 authentic Spanish tapas dishes and daily specials, we are sure there is something for everyone.

It is a bit like wandering into a time capsule of the 1970's. The manager was proud of his pioneering menu of tapas he introduced 50 years ago. The tapas are still tasty, prawns with garlic, mushrooms, patatas bravas, serrano ham, and reasonably priced. It is friendly, but a bustling, modern Spanish eaterie, those days are distant.

Like a trip back in time, stepping into Don Pepe’s is going back to the roots of Spanish cuisine in London. Although the room is dated, the food and service are still top-notch. It truly felt like stepping into a family home with Don Pepe himself, taking care of us. Definitely a must visit for original and authentic Spanish tapas.

Perfect spot for a date. Mr. Pepe made our date perfect. There are no words to describe how good food and hospitality was. If you are looking for a place to eat good food drink good wine and spend quality time together it is the spot that you are looking for. Thank you so much Don Pepe for a night that we would not forget.

Dinner for 2 on a Monday night, booked last minute. Old fashioned decor and service but food is very good and cooked to order. Started with a selection of small plates patatas bravas, spinach croquettes and peppers padron all good, the peppers were the best we've had (not too fiery and not greasy). Followed by paella for 2 (min 2 person order) which was very enjoyable. Washed down with house rioja.

Excellent food. A charming place. Don Pepe was a lovely gentleman. Lots of Spanish speakers attending, always a sign of a popular restaurant.

Very nice and authentic Spanish restaurant in Edwgare Road. Woud give it more stars if it weren't for the fact that it's relatively expensive.
