Domenico Winery is a family owned and operated boutique winery located in San Carlos, California. We specialize in Italian varietals and have been making award-winning wine for more than 20 years. Our vineyard is located in the Sierra Foothills in Amador County, California, where our two estate wines, Syrah and Primitivo, are grown. Join us for wine tastings, lunch or dinner at our Osteria, public events, and private celebrations - we are the SF Peninsula's premiere private events venue! Visit Domenico Winery for our new restaurant: the Osteria at Domenico Winery. We're serving up cicchetti (Italian small plates), pizza, our award-winning wine, and more social dishes.

Food was outstanding - we had burratta (excellent), arugula salad - my favorite, and the fennel sausage pasta and rib eye…all paired wirh outstanding wines by Kelly! We sat at the bar and had an exceptional experience!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our waiter, Mutaz, was awesome. We had coupons for a glass of wine or beer. This place is known for its wine selections, apparently. The food was delicious…We had the Amore Italiano Pie—it was perfect for us because we ordered lots of appetizers—Then we all shared a Tiramisu dessert! Everything was wonderful, we highly recommend!

We have never been to their brunch and it was fun. The food was excellent and so was the bellini bar! And of course our waiter Moutos (SP?) was fabulous!!

Had booked Outside table but heavy winds moved us inside on a high top. Good service and good food overall. Four different mains plus a pizza pie. One downside was that three of the beers on tap were out, leaving two options only. Friday night going into week-end….

Everything was delicious as usual. Service was good. We sat outside on a beautiful warm day, so ambience was perfect. Bomboloni dessert was fantastic. Great place to celebrate Father’s Day!

We have always thought that Domenico's pizza is fabulous. The crust is thin and crunchy - just perfect. This time we added on the grilled asparagus which was fantastic. We were going to splurge and get what we thought was cheesecake, but the waiter told us it was an apple tart. It was just sublime. Not too sweet and the crust was flaky and light. Just a great place to dine.

My GF and I had driven by this place several times and wanted to give it a try. Parking was kind of a pain but we found a spot with the help of a parking attendant. We sat outside under a covered seating area. Our waiter was quick to take our drink order. I ordered the blood orange aperol spritz and my gf ordered a glass of wine. We also put in an order for the asparagus. The waiter mumbled something and walked off. About 10-15 mins later, our drinks and asparagus came out. The spritz was meh but it was something new to me. My gf liked her wine and the asparagus was fine. We ordered the Regina pizza and added carmelized onions. I wasn’t feeling my drink so I gave it to my gf who seemed to like it. Our pizza came out about 15-20 mins later. The pizza was ok and the best part was the carmelized onions. I had a few slices and so did my gf. We had a nice convo while we sat there even tho we could hear the traffic from the nearby road. I was hoping to order another drink but we didn’t see our waiter for quite some time. Our waiter finally showed up when we had our fill so we decided to close out our bill. After looking over our bill, I realized the spritz was a mocktail. Probably what he mumbled when he walked off after I ordered it. That was my bad for not confirming. However, the spritz was still $15 which is pretty expensive for a mocktail. I didn’t say anything while closing out because I had already decided this place wasn’t for me. Not knocking the food or the service, but there are plenty of other places that I actually like that I would rather go to. Something to note, the inside of the place looks great and seems to have a nice ambience. But it does feel really warm inside in the summer time.

We had an outstanding dinner trying several of Chef Gary’s new menu items! The service as always was outstanding, junior was our server last night and Kelley of course made the night special with great wine recommendations!
