While the menu is rooted in tradition, our chefs focus on elevating Italian ingredients and classic flavors to create modern classics, adapted for the contemporary palate of New Orleans. The fresh pastas made by hand daily, roasted vegetables, meats and Napolitano style pizzas, all prepared in the restaurant’s iconic wood oven, are perfectly complemented by custom-brewed beers, seasonal craft cocktails and an Italian-focused wine list.

I tried the new venison broccoli rabe pasta. It was a warm dish with savory, light, brown gravy - filling on a chilly winter evening. With wine, of course. Hit the spot!
Everything from the drinks to entrees was delicious. One of our best meals while in New Orleans.
Always solid. Great evening with my wife and girls.
I bring my son (special needs) to this restaurant every month. It is his absolute favorite! From the squid ink pasta to the tomato basil margarita pizza and lasagna. It’s just incredible.
The food was good, the service from my server was great. It was another server that kept dropping dishes around me and on me.
The main plates are too small, but the food and service is very good.
Food and service was great. This was our third year celebrating New Years with Domenica.
Service was good, but our clam pizza was burnt and tasted like ashes. Squid ink pasta and cauliflower was on point.
Decided at the last minute to eat here since it was in our hotel, The Roosevelt Waldorf Astoria. Our server Gerard was outstanding! The restaurant was so pretty inside and the food delish! We really loved the meat and cheese board for an app. Highly recommend!
Great meal, the roasted cauliflower was awesome and had the servers recommendation of the snapper and it was incredible, may be best snapper I have ever had! Sever was super nice and knowledgeable .
Domenica is a great restaurant in New Orleans!! The service and food is always good. Matt & Brian were AWESOME!!!
They both made sure we were satisfied and attentive!
Thank you very much!!
Drew & Mary
The ambience used to be a lot nicer than it is now. The food is good but it’s more like a bar scene in a restaurant
It was an awesome atmosphere and meal.
NYE tradition for us - late lunch at Domenica! Love it!
The food was very good and the staff attentive albeit short in numbers.
Went for lunch and it was great!
Delicious Italian fare. We had the Fire-grilled Cauliflower with whipped feta, then shared the spaghetti limone and Calabrese Pizze with affogato for dessert!
The food was wonderful and the service was very good but……
The music was so loud that everyone is forced to yell to be heard and we had to keep repeating ourselves to the server.
We left with our ears ringing and our throats hoarse.
Pizza was great. Celebrating 50 anniversary. After dinner went to Saenger and then to our room
Everything was delicious from the octopus to the lasagna and in between !
Domenica was fantastic. This was our third time dining there when visiting New Orleans over the past 5 years. Our table of four thought it was the best food yet. The service was top notch as well. Appetizers were amazing and inventive and the pastas were to die for.
The food was great, but we had a lot of waiting time between courses. Main course by far not as good as starter and soup. Very poor presentation of the food.
Romantic spot for a quiet Christmas dinner dinner for two! The prie fixe menu was amazing and service was quick
We had Christmas lunch. It was overall wonderful. The course servings were a little choppy and the 3rd course seemed to have a hiccup in timing.
Seated and it was over an hour before first course was served only after asking about why so long while other tables had been served their second course.
Service wasn’t the best maybe because it was Christmas. One hour after we were sat down, we were finally served our first course. (We had the prefix Christmas day menu)
The resturant was busy but not packed, there were a few open tables around us. EVERYTHING besides the dessert was salty. Our final entree was the skirt steak to which came out on a hot plate but the steak itself was COLD not warm, COLD…overall, it was a horrible experience and a horrible meal. The food was not good. We made our selection from our waiters recommendations (for example, he hold us to stay away from the shrimp dish since about 40% of diners so far has sent that dish back today) but to be honest, everything besides the dessert was bad. We had to flag down the food servers to get us utensils to which the servers said it’s the waiters job to make sure the diners have the right utensils. We had to cut our steaks with the butter knife till we were finally able to flag our waiter down. ALSO, check your bill because our waiter had added stuff to our ticket that he said belonged to the table next to us… interesting. For a $65 per person meal experience, it was just HORRIBLE. Christmas brunch was ruin.
we had the prix fixe christmas dinner and it was fantastic. we had an excellent server whose name i wanted to remember but unfortunately did not. she was attentive but didn't hover. the meal was delicious and the vibe was totally relaxed. could not have had a better experience!
2 of us has the traditional seven fish Christmas Eve special. Outstanding. Our server was great. This was our second time and our seafood was delicious.
Christmas Eve Dinner with my Mother. Service was excellent. Restaurant was lively.
Chriatmas Eve 🎄🎅🏼
The food was great but the tables are so small!! The four of us had to start stacking plates and moving things around in oder to eat our food. It was just too cramped for a $300 meal.
Food and drink were excellent as always. Service was slow, both for drinks and food—another casualty of the pandemic and millennials being not interested in service type jobs.
Thoroughly enjoyed. Good food, good drinks, good service.
My friend and I really enjoyed our evening at Dominica!!!
It was a very festive Christmas celebration dinner!
Great memories were made!!!
The staff was professional and very welcoming!
And, the food was delicious.
So glad that we were able to get this reservation.
Domenica is just not as good as it used to be. The dishes we had were uninspired and just ok.
Great food and good selection. Meat no double doors or barriers to block a cold breeze.
Awesome and awesome waiter
Not worth the hype. I didn’t taste the rabbit in my dish; it could have been anything! Noise level was
Unbearable. Server wanted to be attentive but the restaurant was probably understaffed. No need to return.
Has great happy hour pizza.
