While the menu is rooted in tradition, our chefs focus on elevating Italian ingredients and classic flavors to create modern classics, adapted for the contemporary palate of New Orleans. The fresh pastas made by hand daily, roasted vegetables, meats and Napolitano style pizzas, all prepared in the restaurant’s iconic wood oven, are perfectly complemented by custom-brewed beers, seasonal craft cocktails and an Italian-focused wine list.

Risotto was amazing. Staff was impeccable. Ambience was a vibe.
Food was good as usual but not the greatness we had come to expect. Mushrooms in the rabbit dish were very gritty. Service was quick, but not talkative, never discuss any dishes or the menu. She was pleasant and followed up on our table often but would just say "how are you doing?" and then be walking away as the answer was given.
Great food - server a little slow.
Very mediocre food…you better like salt. No chance of us eating at again when so many great options exist in New Orleans.
Domenica is a go-to for locals here in NOLA. Everyone should be dropping by. We spread the word.
We love the pizza at Domenica. We try to visit each time we are in New Orleans. The wine list is fantastic, too. As always, the service was very good. Thanks for another great experience.
Friends in town!
The first thing that turned me off was that they immediately put us at a table for two next to a service area even though we had reservations. The restaurant had numerous other tables available. After complaining, we were moved to a window seat.
The watermelon salad was delicious but the entrees were so so.
Our waitress was inattentive.
All in all, first and last visit for us.
Solid all around but nothing that I would call outstanding. Somewhat of a small menu but what we had was well done and met expectations.
Food was wonderful! Beautiful restaurant and great staff!
The Tagliatelle was like adult beefaroni. It was heaven. Perfectly cooked pasta, super flavorful. The pizza was yummy but a little light on the sauce. No ranch dressing, which always annoys me. Bread needed some seasoning in the oil but it was delightful
Our waitress Felisa was amazing. The food was superb… we got the cauliflower and Calabrese pizza.
solid pizza with some ambitious appetizers and entrees that mostly (but not always) hit the mark. service is solid, but at too low of a cadence to have an enjoyable meal... awkward gaps between being seated, taking order, appetizers, entrees, drinks...
The dining experience was wonderful. Saturday night is loud but restaurant being crowded did not deter from top notch dining experience.
Although the service was excellent, the dining room was extremely noisy and the food was subpar
Low quality and flavors were off. Would not visit again.
Domenica was top notch in every way! You won’t be disappointed in any menu selection, but the meatball and polenta was outstanding.
With a reduced meal due to Ida, the food was still fantastic. Service was very courteous and professional. Loved this place!
Awesome meal and terrific service!
Service was wonderful !
Delicious food and drinks. We had the ravioli and the rabbit pasta. Gerard, our server, was very attentive despite being busy.
So glad to be dining out again and grateful everyone was masked. From our first sip of delightful cocktails from an equally lovely server, we knew we were in for a pleasant pre-Saenger evening, Dinner consisted of roasted cauliflower with whipped feta, slices of yeasty focaccia, truffle agnolotti and a white pizza. We were absolutely filled to the brim but “had to” have some dolce before departing so we decided on a rich hazelnut mousse and a reenergizing affogato. Muhwaa (chefs kiss) to the team at Domenica- perfection!!
My husband and I enjoyed dinner before attending a concert at Saenger Theatre. Due to Hurricane Ida, the chef had a limited menu but it was plentiful and exquisite. The craft cocktails were excellent and unique.
Great food as always. A little weird that the hotel is now requiring key cards to use their restrooms. Would be nice if Domenica had their own bathroom.
Great food and service.
All around great experience!!
Great food and service
We thought that the veggie appetizers were outstanding.
We had a great meal while we were visiting New Orleans. I have eaten here before and it did not disappoint. Service was excellent too.
The lobster gnocchi was gross
Baretender was great
The kale can be flash friend not deep fried with tempura too rich old recipe better
Appetizers very good. Pizza unfortunately soggy
Excellent as always !
The server had no personality and almost seemed like I was doing something wrong by being there
I had been before, but it was my boyfriend’s first time. We ordered a single cheese board and chose the pecorino at the recommendation of our server, and it was so so good. Definitely worth the price. We shared a large truffle agnolotti and a white pizza. The truffle agnolotti is always just so good, like the kind of pasta that you think about weeks later. We finished with chocolate gelato which was also delicious. Just beware that you do get charged for refills if you order anything but water. My boyfriend ordered a coke and it was $3 a glass.
If you are looking for a superb dining experience for a special occasion, look no further. The wait staff was helpful, friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere and decor was beautiful and airy. There was plenty of space between tables. I highly recommend and will definitely return!
The food was delicious and the noise level was great for the atmosphere. Our server was the problem. He sucked his teeth at us when drinks were ordered. He also gave us the vibe of disliking us for no reason.
I really just wasn’t a huge fan of the food.
Ambiance was nice, but the food was less than average.
Went early brought our wine we are regulars to Dominica . Don’t like the wine list . I didn’t think a corkage fee of 25.00 was necessary. Since we had a lot of food . Gave a very nice tip to server. Also ordered a after dinner drink with coffee .
