While the menu is rooted in tradition, our chefs focus on elevating Italian ingredients and classic flavors to create modern classics, adapted for the contemporary palate of New Orleans. The fresh pastas made by hand daily, roasted vegetables, meats and Napolitano style pizzas, all prepared in the restaurant’s iconic wood oven, are perfectly complemented by custom-brewed beers, seasonal craft cocktails and an Italian-focused wine list.
Dinner: Sunday - Saturday: 3:00pm - 11:00pm
Very, very disappointed in the service. We were on time for our reservations and we waited 15 minutes before our waitress even greeted us. It was all downhill from there. Food was ok, at best, for the price. Way overrated.
Food was not as great as usual. My pasta was served warm & my friend ‘s pizza was burned on some of the edges. I have dined here many times & feel this was not typical. I will try again though only once more.
We really enjoyed the food and the cocktails were very good
Domenica is one of the best places in New Orleans! I took my parents there for my mom’s 60th birthday and the service and food was incredible! My dad who hates cauliflower now has a new love for it! Thank you all for making the evening amazing!
Great service and great food. Highlights include the Lima Beans, pizza and chocolate hazelnut pudding.
Had a very nice Friday evening happy-hour dinner at Domenica. Service was on point, very attentive, informative, and all around well executed. Definitely order the roasted cauliflower with whipped feta, any of the pastas or pizzas. Very approachable food for reasonable price in a well-designed hotel/restaurant space.
The food is amazing, everything from lasagna to the pizza. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend.
The lasagna dish was quite good and very filling. The peach cake was kind of like toasted/burnt pound cake with peach syrup and a couple peaches and vanilla gelato on top. Kind of disappointing. The shrimp noodle dish needed longer cooking on the noodles as they were quite chewy. Not impressed after other great meals at other places.
Perfect spot for delicious pre-concert dinner. Lasagna is rich, and big enough for most to share.
Was disappointed no gluten free pizza or gluten-free bread
Lovely service. The waitress made many excellent recommendations.
Our server provided exceptional service. Pizza was very good.
We had a lovely experience. Everything was tasty and our waitress Celena was outstanding. She made our anniversary very special.
A MUST when you're in NOLA.
Everything was delicious!
Late night last minute rez after a day in The Garden District touring mansions and building up an appetite. Restaurant was close to hotel, and open until 11pm, which were our original reasons for going, but later amended to the high quality of the food, wine list and service. Very good authentic Italian, both heavy and light fare.
Nothing lasts forever. Gone, the ginormous, amazing, deep-fried cauliflower. Gone the light as air, super crisp, addictive fried kale. And the textbook arancini. And the perfectly cooked pizza with the cracker crisp yet still chewy crust. And perfect pasta.
Now the cauliflower is half the size and oven roasted, yet much greasier and boring. The kale is like something at a state fair: thick, overabundant batter, lots of grease, and a shade of the crisp kale that used shine so bright. Arancini now have a goopy center, with corn, so it's like an undercooked fritter. The pizza was burned on the edges and soft in the middle, and covered in pools of grease. The pasta was way too chewy to be considered al dente by any stretch of imagination and quite salty. The steak was over-seasoned and far too chewy for a $35 steak.
And then there's the weird thing of the hostess making rounds with an iPad, silently checking each tables status and entering it. Happened at least five times maybe more, super creepy vibe to it, wth!?
Just as terrible tyrants fall so do glorious heights crumble; at least now there's Paladar.
My girlfriend and I went here for our date night and we absolutely loved it. It was a dim and cozy setting and the food was just amazing. Big portion sizes for a reasonable price for a nice, high quality restaurant (paid about $80 for two entrees, cocktails, and dessert) and our server was funny, courteous, and great. Service was a tad slow and we spent about two hours but it was well worth it and perfect for a date night!
When we arrived everything went smoothly with the reservation. It was a little awkward sitting down because our table had a curtain behind one side so the only way to access half of the table was to walk around the front which was unfortunately blocked by another patron's arm as he had it sticking out into the walk way, resting on his wife's chair. If I had walked by it would have 100% grazed my backside which would have been uncomfortable for all. Luckily my boyfriend took one for the team and slid past him. I wish the hostess had gently asked the man to move his arm instead of leaving my bf and I to look at each other awkwardly. Anyways, with all that out of the way the rest of the service was fantastic. Our server gave us all the time we needed to decide on food and reminded us about happy hour (half off lots of drinks and pizza - hello yes thank you). We ordered many small plates and he told us how he would arrange them so they came out in an easy to eat manner and he did a great job. Wine was great as well. A manager checked on us twice which is always a lovely touch. We had the cauliflower (better here than at the counter part Pizza Domenica), a selection of mean and cheese (chicken liver pate is the best I've had, 'Nduja was fun), squid ink pasta was superb, Bucatini which he thought was slightly under al dente but I loved and finally pizza. Pizza was the only short coming for me - clam pizza was so-so, very buttery and the red pepper was concentrated on like three slices and on the second pizza (spicy sausage) the egg was a touch over done and not runny enough.
I will return for more off the salumi & formaggi selections and to try the other pasta dishes. But, I will get my pizza only from Pizza Domenica because it always comes out perfect! All in all, a great dinner. Plus, you can pop out into the Roosevelt for more drinks and music.
Our server was awesome (I wish I remembered her name!) she accommodated our growing group with ease and the food was delicious!
Domenica, is so delicious. The pasta is the best and the service is always on point.
Delicious squid ink pasta! Loved the blue crab lumps and the sauce divine!
Delicious food and wonderful team as always. We had delightful time once again!
Love going here food always good happy hour the best
Excellent meal. When informed staff that we had tickets to a show, facilitated our getting to show on time.
We came to the Domenica restaurant at the Roosevelt hotel location. The food was amazing. Our server, Celena, was amazing. Not only did she gave amazing recommendations for the food but she also gave us great ideas to go to places around in the city. The pizzas were great and so were the pastas. The Chocolate Hazlenet Pudding was also very tasty.
Fantastic food! Pizzas were fab and so was a lot of the other food! We had one vegetarian in our party and this place did not disappoint! The cauliflower was outstanding! Excellent cocktails added to our overall wonderful experience.
The food here is quite good, go for the roasted cauliflower with whipped goat cheese- it's fantastic. My only complaint is although the service is ok, it really should be a bit better. I've been twice, once with a small party on a busy Saturday and once with a large group on an empty Sunday. Both times the servers dropped the food and disappeared. A hostess came running over when she saw me get up and look through the waiter's station for an extra plate and silverware, but our table really should have been checked on before it came to that. Otherwise, a wonderful casual spot.
Best pizza in New Orleans and their lasagna is wonderful. With Happy Hour prices and location, it is our favorite restaurant in the CBD.
We were both looking forward to the roasted cauliflower. What a disappointment! The recipe has been changed. The cauliflower was cooked in red pepper and red pepper was sprinkled on the sauce. Way too spicy.
Best lasagna I have ever put in my mouth! I've been several times and ALWAYS order the roasted cauliflower with feta cheese. Delish!
COOLinary menu was outstanding! Three courses with ample portions.
The coolinary menu was great! We had the rice balls app. lasagna, rigatoni, and both deserts. Jasmine was amazing and her servers were also on point.
Due to a very bad experience at another restaurant we had to make a rather late reservation. So i was apprehensive about things. From the very start i was put at ease. I can not say thank you enough to Annie. What a wonder meal. Absolutely the best service, meal and restaurant i have eaten at in nola.
Excellent food but a bit pricey. They looked after us as we had two veggies and a vegan in our party so we were all happy.
Underwhelming. The food was bland (except for one appetizer). While our server was good, the bar was exceptionally slow to provide drinks, and we got our entrees before we had finished our appetizers.
Best cauliflower you will ever eat. Really.
Best cauliflower you will ever eat. Really.
Love this place. The meat and cheese board was great.
The food and the service were excellent! We will be back!
It was a good lunch with good food. I’d recommend to people.
our pizza was burnt. We let them know and the offered us money back so they handled it professional . A bit expansiv bit ok for a date . Not for families.
