While the menu is rooted in tradition, our chefs focus on elevating Italian ingredients and classic flavors to create modern classics, adapted for the contemporary palate of New Orleans. The fresh pastas made by hand daily, roasted vegetables, meats and Napolitano style pizzas, all prepared in the restaurant’s iconic wood oven, are perfectly complemented by custom-brewed beers, seasonal craft cocktails and an Italian-focused wine list.
Dinner: Sunday - Saturday: 3:00pm - 11:00pm
Took over an hour to receive our food. Had to get a manager to provide our check after the meal. Food was great.
Food was incredible - squid ink tagliolini seriously best dish I have ever eaten hands down
The food was fantastic and we took our 7 year old daughter and they made her feel like a princess! Service was fantastic!
Food was good but VERY salty
Domenica is always a good choice for an excellent meal!
I took my girlfriend here for a birthday date. And it was one of the most amazing dinners I ever had. They have a happy hour from 2-6 and the pizza and drinks were half off. My girlfriend got the pizza and it was cooked in a brick oven and was amazing! I got the Lasagna and it was the number 1 lasagna in the nation on Food network. Our waiter was very nice and took time to explain our menu. It was an amazing meal! And I would recommend it to anyone.
Prefect place to enjoy delicious food and great ambiance. The BEST happy hour for pizzas that taste like they are from Italy.
The food was amazing and our server was fantastic. This was our second time here and it didn’t disappoint!! Fried Kale and cauliflower are amazing!!
Almost always solid food with great happy hour.
Waitress was not very good. Didn’t get the drink order correct and it was relative simple. It took awhile in between servings. They took away the leftovers and took so long to bring them back we left without them
Food & service was great. No complaints. Only comment would be that the front of house girls were very casually dressed for the standard of the restaurant. The waiters & waitresses were dressed nicer. Just noticed it & thought it was odd.
pizza at Domenica is special because of the dough.
Service was great. Super friendly attention given to us.
Traffic into NOLA was a nightmare. We arrived at the Roosevelt at7pm. The restaurant knew were late and had our reservation held and our server knew we had 8 o’clock tickets at Saenger. They made it all happen. It was wonderful. I had redfish topped with sautéed mushrooms and onions....excellent. We went back for dessert and coffee after the concert....again it was excellent.
Fabulous cocktails and food - and I loved that they were willing to make a reservation at a proper table.fpr just one person!
The food was amazing. A hidden gem in the busy streets of the French quarter!
Brought out of town guest to Domenica. I've been to the restaurant many times but did not receive the excellent service I'd received on other occasions.
1. Plates. No bread plates given. Had to use same plate for bread and appetizer.
2. We ordered the Roasted Cauliflower, which usually are so big you thought they were on steroids...there is always enough to take home. The serving we received was so small I thought it was a small cabbage.
3. I had to ask for a large spoon because I ordered pasta.
4. My guest and I were almost done with our meal before the server came back to check on use...AND the manager never show up at our table.
Although this was during the Essence Festival, our dinner reservations was on a Friday night at 8p...but the restaurant was not that busy. Remember, I eat at Domenica at least once a month.
Great food, great staff, very attentive, often took care of our table needs before we even knew we needed anything.
Dinner was very pleasant at the Dominican Restaurant. The service was attentive. And the food was very good.
Great night out! Todd our server was terrific.
We had a great meal with perfect service.
We love this restaurant.
Worst server ever.
Great pizza! Squid ink pasta was amazing. Not the typical New Orleans fare, more new wave Italian.
Everything was generally very good. Was disappointed in the Hanger steak.. it was Med rare but as pricey as it is was far to tough. Would not order it again or recommend it to others. Loved the smoked beets and Kale.
Very accommodating for our business lunch. We had lots of paperwork to review and many boards full of great food to eat. They allowed us to monopolize a larger table for a Saturday lunch.
Everything was great at Domenica. Our hostess Rosalind was welcoming and attentive to us. Our waiter Todd was fantastic. Gave us great recommendations and paired a wonderful wine with our meal. Highly recommend Domenica. Great food, atmosphere & service.
We were visiting New Orleans on vacation and our daughter is vegan. The restaurant offered vegan options. Everything was excellent and the staff were very knowledgeable about the menu. They made great suggestions for us. We would visit again if in New Orleans in the future.
Had the worse waiter ever in my life who ruined what was supposed to be a special evening in my life. Couldn’t wait to get out of the restaurant to get away from him. The red fish was outstanding the pasta dish was not even passable. The arancini were great but the cauliflower was so undercooked we couldnt even cut it! Bad,bad, bad! 😢
Great server with wonderful recommendations. Food was amazing.
Domenica was incredible! I researched options within three blocks of our hotel (The Saint) and Domenica was the winner. They were extremely accommodating of our group of 8 with a table ready for us right when our reservation started at 8pm, despite it being a busy friday night. The initial drink order was slow, but the food was VERY prompt and as we dined family style the meal was our most reasonably priced of the weekend! The pizzas and pastas were incredible and we found something to please everyone on their wine list. It was the perfect start to a bachelorette party weekend and I will recommend Domenica to all of my friends! An excellent non-creole option near the French Quarter hotels.
The waiter was lovely and very on top of things. Would definitely go back!
This restaurant is a hidden gem. Highly recommend the pizzas (you can get half of one and half of another for the price of one) and the chicken liver patte. The cannolis were also excellent. The space is also open and very modern. Service is also excellent and they are constantly checking on you. Definitely come here if you get a chance.
Nice and interesting food with good service.
The pizzas were amazing! I couldn't stop eating. I await my return to NOLA for round two. Worth going to for any event.
They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of.
The shaved Brussels sprouts would be MUCH better if the Brussels sprouts were roasted and not raw. I would never order that again.
Pizza’s are 100% amazing. Great experience. Happy Hour is a great value. Make reservations, they are always busy
We had tickets for a 1:00 PM Sunday matinee at The Saenger and made 11:15 AM reservations at Domenica for lunch. We were looking for a place conveniently located to the parking garage and the theatre. The restaurant was practically empty when we arrived but began to fill up more during our meal. We split a Calabrese pizza and Caesar salad and had the peach cake with vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. The service was decent and the food was okay, but nothing exceptional.
The food was good, but the service was slow. I have heard good things about the food and wanted to try it for fathers day. we had to continue to look for our waitress to get service and more water at the table.
Brunch at Domenica before a Sunday matinee theater production is the perfect combination. We were able to enjoy a lovely meal at our leisure, with plenty of time to make it to the play. The food, ambience and waitstaff were all outstanding. Keep up the great work!
