Thank you for making my Mum’s birthday so special. Special thanks to Elena who was very kind and nice!
I had a lovely time at Dollys which my daughter arranged as a surprise for my birthday! The staff were absolutely super the experience brought happy tears to my eyes. I absolutely loved it! Thanks to the ever so kind lady i did not quite her name. Xx
Fabulous lunch and service. Would definitely recommend!
Amazing service and beautiful food. Can't wait to return.
Very nice place to go for an afternoon tea with friends.
Stopped in here for afternoon tea. It was my daughter’s 18th birthday. The staff were amazing, she got a candle in her cake and even a card. It was a lovely day anyway but the staff made it extra special
Fabulous coffee and cakes - highly recommended.
Also had lovely gesture of money off our bill because what we originally wanted was not available. Top marks Dolly’s !
the service was very good, staff polite and very helpful, i didnt think the food was good value for the money we paid for the afternoon tea
The staff was amazing we booked as my daughter had missed her 30th birthday celebrations last year due to covid the staff were so welcome in and friendly 😊
They took her to chooses a complimentary cake and all the staff came back with the cake with a candle to wish her happy birthday
The food was beautiful and real pot of tea !!
Angela and chloe ❤
Great service. Staff were very attentive but not intrusive. Food was amazing. Nice touch having and candle and a cars for my birthday.
Very good open sandwich with an ample helping of smoked salmon
Went with best friend for her birthday treat, she got a card and candle! So sweet!
Lovely interesting tasty treats
Loved it! Excellent service and food.
Really really good, went for a birthday and they pulled out the stops to give incredible service. The food is not halal but there were so many other options for use to choose from so in all honesty it was really good value!
Great experience, food and a swift service with a smile. Would definitely recommend.
An ideal place to meet for a tasty lunch. Service was fine and there was no sense of being rushed.
Service was v good. I was a little disappointed with the afternoon tea. It wasn't as good as I expected.
We had a classic afternoon tea and the size was perfect! The standard of food was amazing. The service that we received was outstanding. I would definitely go there again.
If you’re planning a trip to London then a visit to Dolly’s is a must.
I can honestly say I’ve never experienced such attentive and professional first class service from any other restaurant or cafe. From booking in to taking our order and serving us our afternoon tea we were treated with the utmost care and attention.
We ordered sandwiches and a cream tea both with silver service tea and it was all absolutely delicious.
Thank you to all the staff for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
Overall we had a good time at Dolly’s. We had the Dolly’s afternoon tea which was nice except the cheese balls which are not at all nice! Not the best in London but then it’s half the price of top London restaurants.
Noone acknowledged our prebooking , table insufficient for guests food very average not ready for us service late, would not recommend 😑
Great staff, it's a nice place to have an afternoon tea! Vegan cake options is a great plus.
It was a lovely treat to eat at Dolly's and it lived up to my expectations
Felt it was very overpriced and poor value for money.
Would have preferred more choices
A little disappointed with this afternoon tea in comparison to other places I have experienced. Sandwiches were a little stale and we would have preferred a selection of small patisserie rather than 2 large ones.
Children/Teen variant of the afternoon tea is a must.
First time at Selfridges for afternoon tea. We ordered the Dolly’s afternoon tea and was disappointed with the sandwiches. The filling was so sparse that it was just like eating bread with a thin layer of butter. Scones were small but the cakes were lovely!
We still had a lovely time but we won’t come back for the afternoon tea.
The service at Dollys was lovely, we had a lovely time, especially considering this was during post lockdown so the hustle and bustle of London wasn't there. The sandwiches and scones were delightful, the cakes we beautiful but more art than taste.
Outstanding customer service. And I’ve been to most afternoon teas in London.Good value and great stop off.Manager and staff great, will definitely stop again when in selfridges.
Ordered a plain croissant only to be told they were out, so I ordered a cinnamon swirl. They then came back and told me they were out of cinnamon swirls but did actually have plain croissants after all, so I changed my order back. Then I was brought a pain au chocolat - which wasn’t even on the menu - but at this point I was too hungry to care so just accepted it. My friend ordered a plain croissant and was brought a pain au raisin. Just a lot of confusion all round, and not really worth it for the price.
The venue was nice but lacked the ambience and character. It was open plan so looking around we could see other shoppers and an escalator. Also, when I booked I was asked the reason which was my son’s birthday. Not sure why I was asked this as it was totally ignored and there was no acknowledgement from the waiters. Still, it was a nice experience.
Firstly the price for classic afternoon tea is £27 not £22 as advertised on Opentable.
The food is lovely but £54 for 2 we only got 4 finger sandwiches, 1 scone each and 1 cake each. Yes the food was really nice, the service was great, the music wasn’t too loud, but value for money is great.
Lovely afternoon tea. Excellent, polite service. Free taster chocolate dipping platter. Great place to catch up with friends.
Long toilet queue due to alternate toilet closure which forced very long queues with no social distancing defeating the point. Hopefully this will change.
Lovely scones and staff quick service and good choices
So happy to be back. Great as always and actually having a little more space between tables made it a little nicer. A real treat.
Amazing place , lovely staff , love the atmosphere
We had afternoon tea - bread was dry & overall taste was very average. Very expensive for what you get. Pastries look amazing, and again not great tasting.
Lovely flavoursome afternoon tea at a very reasonable price, I would definitely recommend
The music was very loud in this part of the store. We had a classic afternoon tea and was very disappointed. The sandwiches had obviously been left out as the bread was going hard and dry. The salmon filling was nice but the other three were ok nothing special. The scones were nice - the best bit of the tea but not enough jam between 3 of us. The cakes were not up to standard but we noticed other tables had better cakes than ours. We’ve had a lot of afternoon teas and I rate this as one of the worst, would not return. I don’t mind paying the money if it was worth it but it wasn’t I’m afraid.
Nicely presented but sandwiches were dry which let the Dolly’s afternoon tea down
