                                                                                  Went for Valentines and it was honestly such a huge disappointment. I worked in the industry for 6 years so I get Valentines is one of the busiest nights of the year, but there was such a clear lack of organization throughout the entire restaurant. Reservation at 6:30 and sat promptly, however we did not get our appetizer until 7:23, at which they brought us the wrong plates at first and it was clear one of them had been sitting at a window for some time as a film had been formed on the sauce. Another 30 minutes for our entree's - at this point the man cleaning and setting tables had to go search for our food and server. We watched so many other tables get everything so much faster than us even when we sat and ordered before they did and it was all a prefix menu. Servers and food runners were obviously lost bringing plates to the wrong table the whole night, running out of cups, and just not setting the table. No visible management or anyone willing to help with the long delays in between courses. They were so behind on everything they could flip tables quick enough so the restaurant was PACKED we were not able to get out and had to wait for people to clear a path. For $300 ($95 per person and two drinks) it was a complete waste. Food was decent, dessert terrible, ambiance was really nice if you could look past the visibly annoyed other diners. Would not give it a second chance

                                                                                  Very disappointed. Two seafood dishes, clearly from frozen filets. Evident by the texture and lack of flavor. I was expecting a really special dining experience. Wait staff was obviously untrained.

                                                                                  Dolce Riviera was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the staff was very professional, particularly the manager and waiter. The arancini antipasti was topped with fresh, seasoned arugula, doubling as appetizer and palate cleanser. For entree, I had the gnocchi with salmon; creamy and perfectly cooked, it was the real-deal of northern Italian dishes. Dolce is definitely the type of place you can take that special someone for a luxury experience. If you're looking for the next Italian fine-dining experience, Dolce is the place for you.

                                                                                  Our server was fantastic. We had a bigger party of 12 on a slow night. Great food wine and dessert. Perfect to be able to have a conversation across the table without yelling.

                                                                                  We reserved an 8 person table outside 2 weeks in advance. They told us WHEN WE SHOWED UP that they decided to book a fraternity party 2 days prior in our outside spot and book up the whole outside patio (we specifically reserved outside patio) they told us we have a great booth INSIDE for you. Which is what we didn’t reserve…it’s beautiful weather out today! Thankfully they sat us outside after we complained (they got some folding table from inside and make shifted us a spot outside. The service was horrible, we didn’t get water or menus for 15 minutes. Such a cute place but we will never be back. I have not had service this bad in my entire dining life in Dallas. And we go to probably 4 places a week.
