Doe's Eat Place in Margaritaville Resort Biloxi
Food and service were excellent! Will def be going back the next time we are there!
We had the cowboy ribeye mushrooms and twice baked potato everything was excellent .. we will go back for sure
Best food in the resort, but not the best I’ve eaten. Love the tamales, and we had the steak on a visit years ago and it was really good. We chose the seafood options this time and the broiled shrimp were a little bland, The crab fingers were good, but the breading was cornmeal and I prefer something lighter on crab like corn flour or all purpose. Nice wine selection, or at least wines that I like.
We made a last meinute reservation and had 22 people. Our waitress did a great job. We will definetly consider them again.
We had reservations and were seated promptly. However did not see our waitress for almost 15 min. The hostess came by our table and pour lukewarm tap water into glasses . No explanation as to why we were waiting.
The food was served fast after we ordered and it was seasoned well.
I was overall disappointed, it did not live up to my expectations.
Staff was very attentive and pleasant. The meal was fantastic! We will definitely be back.
The food and service was exceptional. The steak was one of the best I’ve ever had.
The management and servers were very professional and friendly. However, we waited extremely long to get our food. In fact, two other tables received their food 15 minutes before we did; with similar orders. My steak was overcooked. My wife’s was cooked nicely but didn’t taste very good. I ordered medium and got a well done steak. I received another steak cooked a little better. The management still tried to make us happy by offering other options. They also gave us a small discount. I appreciate their efforts but the food was very bad.
From our "research" so far, these were the best steaks we have had on the MS Gulf Coast. My husband ordered the Cowboy Ribeye, gigantic (2lbs) and cooked to correct temp. I had the bone-in NY Strip. Both our steaks were perfectly juicy, tender and flavorful. I had a wedge salad that I don't think I left a scrap of, and husband had the twice baked potatoes that reminded him of his grandmother's — a tall compliment. Somehow, even the garlic bread was magical. We'll be back!
Excellent food quality, presentation and taste! Definitely recommend
Treated you like famly...server and manager were attentive...great steaks and a great value. Enjoy just come with an empty stomach...it will fill up fast.
I have been here multiple times with family and friends. it's consistently good. service is very attentive. will be back!!!
From the start, it wasn't worth it. The water tasted bad, the Margarita tasted like salt, and the soda didn't have any carbonation! The spaghetti sauce was out of a jar and the steak was tough and not cooked to order. You can eat better and for cheaper at Ruth Chris's.
Service was great and our steaks were awesome. Will definitely be back.
We went to Doe's wanting to get a steak. For 2 people, 2 steaks, and 4 drinks with tip $200.00. The steak was ok, if I would have known there was a Salt grass 1/4 mile down the road, we definitely would have gone there. If you want a great steak go tp Salt grass.
Too expensive on Friday/Saturday. Better option during the rest of the week with the date night special.
The best filet I have ever had! The tamales are great to try as well.
Very enjoyable evening at Doe’s...food was awesome... our waiter was great... outstanding meal for the date nite...can’t wait to go back.
The food was wonderful at Doe's! We ordered tamales with chili as an appetizer. If you like tamales, you'll enjoy these. They have a little bite to them, but not too much. We all ordered filet mignon steaks which were cooked perfectly as ordered. A few of the steaks could have used a little more of the juices they pour over the top, but they were all tender, delicious and almost melted in your mouth like butter! The sides we ordered were baked, twice-baked and loaded baked potatoes, as well as an order of mushrooms. The sides were a great accompaniment to the steaks. We have eaten at the original Doe's in Greenville, MS many times, and although the Margaritaville Resort location in Biloxi was clean and attractive, we still enjoy the atmosphere at the original much more. You just have to experience the original Doe's! The food itself is great at both restaurants though! Our service was good and we were very pleased with our meal.
Food was served cold or lukewarm. Steak not prepared correctly.
Food was overpriced and not very fresh. Will never go back again.
Best steak that I have eaten. I highly suggest this as place to stop for a great meal.
Let me start by saying my wife would probably recommend Doe’s to a friend; I would not. We both had the cowboy rib eyes. She absolutely loved hers! I’m just so out of date that I still have a problem ponying up five bucks for bread to go with my fifty dollar steak that was absolutely a large piece of gristle and fat with some tasty flecks of lean throughout. I understand and expected the rib eye to be marbled, but my serving took that to another level. Better than average service; somewhat noisy. There was a small adjustment to the check after I made the manager aware of my issue ( I did not complain- just showed her my plate full of evidence)! I’ve been there and done that. My wife was totally pleased, but if she goes back, she’ll have to dine alone or bring a friend!
Quality food and good service made for a fun evening out!
Food was good and service was excellent. Noise level was high
Does Eats Place in Margaritaville in Biloxi offers a good value for dinner.
Our server was terrific, the tamales were especially tasty.
We enjoyed our dinner immensely.
Steaks were great.
All vegetables were TOO salty!!
Shrimp —were great, but again TOO SALTY!!
Service was good.
I like my steak well and it is hard to find a chef/restaurant that can get it right, but Doe's has been successful every time we have come! Perfect!
Love Doe’s we eat here often.!!!
Cowboy ribeye was great!!!!
Place was empty. Service and steak were phenomenal.
Took approximately 20 minutes to seat us for our reservation, as they were apparently waiting for another group to leave....but had plenty of tables open. We ended up seated at a table better served for six people but we were a group of 8. Felt rushed. My dishes were fine but two people had to send their steaks back - one was ordered Medium Rare and came out extremely rare, another was ordered Medium Rare and came out extremely well done. Service was not great about drink refills, no idea on any specials as nothing was offered or stated.
Overpriced for the type of food and portions you're getting. Service was slow, it took nearly two hours for our table of six to be served. We were one of two tables being served. I would rather go somewhere else for the price
Better wine selection, more private seating, better cuts of meat
The food was excellent! We had the tamales, filet and fried oysters, and it was all good. Our 4 year old niece was with us and she had the kid's spaghetti, which was delicious. Also a good selection of wine and bourbon. Our server did a great job and was very friendly. Can't wait to go back!
Best Steak on the Coast! Def get the Hot Tamales with chili and cheese! #greenvillems
