   Service was friendly but slow food was good but we were over charged Ordered the lobster tail with side salad and side for $38 but they charged for the side salads and sides $18 over charge!

   My wife and I agree that this was one of the best meals we have ever ordered. From the appetizer (peppers and sausage) to our meals (steak and prime rib), THIS MEAL WAS SUPERB!!!! Our server Kristin S. went above and beyond, making sure everything was fine. The meals may be a bit pricey, but are worth every penny..

   Good food, a bit pricey however the quality is good. Upstairs dining room was quite chilly, a few degrees warmer would have made for a perfect experience.

   We always enjoy dining at Dockside, especially the bar area. The service is great, staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful.I have a few dishes that I like there, but this time tried the Asian chop salad. It wasn’t a favorite, to be honest, and wish there would be a little bit more focus on the quality of the ingredients and the overall taste of that dish. Occasionally some dishes are hit or miss. But overall we are big fans of Dockside, and very happy to have it in our community!

   We had dinner there last Saturday and I was soo impressed. My husbands prime rib was perfect and my Alfredo was awesome - our waitress was courteous and checked on us often - looking forward to coming back! Laura

   This was our visit to the Dockside. We had made reservations through open table and when we arrived, they did not have the reservation. They were also super busy (25% capacity?) Of all the tables that were occupied, only one table was eating. So we waited for about half an hour. After we got seated, the staff waited on us did very well. We got our drinks and food pretty fast. The food was delicious! I recommend the spinach/artichoke appetizer and the Dockside salad with salmon. They also paid for our appetizer since we had to wait. I will definitely visit this place again! Thanks!!

    Waitress and service was nice. Food was bland and was either over or under cooked and it was hard to get sides like tarter sauce. The food is way too overpriced for what it is worth

    We had a fantastic meal. The portions were quite large. The view was spectacular from the upper level. The wait staff was attentive and because of our reservation our table was ready upon arrival. We will be back again!

    We all enjoyed our dinners. Had crab stuffed walleye, beef tips and chicken Alfredo. The service was quick, the food was hot, generous portions and delicious. Will definitely go back.

    I graded you as poor on all areas. The reason for this poor grade: I registered on line and my table reservation was confirmed for Monday at 5:45pm. We drove in from out of town and found the Dockside closed. I understand that these are difficult times, but a registrations should not be confirmed if you are close.

    2nd visit to Dockside. Food has always been delicious and service good. Drinks / wine are a bit overpriced, in my opinion. Had a glass of the red blend (bottle under $50), and it was a small pour in a big glass at a price that was very high compared to bottle price and size of the pour. Hard to reconcile the disparity between the delicious food and overpriced wine by the glass.

    This is a wonderful place ti get excellent food. Service is acceptable, however thd restaurant is fairly new, so I would give grace on little grievances. Page waited on us impeccably & Katelyn crafted amazing ckcktails. Lenny made wonderful, full flavored dishes & the salmon was cooked to perfection!

    Absolutely wonderful experience! Food was great and well worth the price. Serving sizes were awesome, staff was more than nice and accommodating, and the ambience was amazing. I would reccomend to anyone that enjoys an excellent dining experience.

    Strip steak, nice size but virtually no taste. When told it was prime beef, even more disappointed. Lots of grizzle material. Asian salad was also without taste, even with the dressing. Had to ask for 2nd glass of wine. Empty glass was not sufficient. Coffee with desert, first cup nice and hot. Second cup was cold. Not cool. Cold. They keep asking customers to bear with them while they get up to speed on food and service. The bearing with them has gotten old. Would not see us returning.

    Our waitress Paige did an incredible job. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The hostess...I think her name was Joslin was helpful and very sweet. Great food. Overall a very memorable experience.

    This is our second time dining with a group of 6 (8 last time). The service could not have been better! We had a different chef this time. The other is still cooking but this was his night off. We all agreed that while the food was very good, it was slightly less good than our previous visit. I was very impressed when the chef (both times) came to our table to discuss how I wanted my special request meal to be prepared. Love this place. Portions are huge and well worth the price!

    The spicy shrimp linguini was too spicy! I should’ve read or asked the waitress. I love the ambiance & the amount of food served ! Excellent restaurant!! We’ve been about 10 times since opening & never disappointing.

    Although a little chilly the outside seating was wonderful. NY Strip ...Black and blue with sautéed scallops...seriously one of the best steaks I've ever had. Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection. Our server was great but a little more knowledge of beverages and the menu overall would be helpful. Please slice the Ahi appetizers cross the filet and thin. It was 1/4 inch thick and honestly was not very good. I love the preparation but the presentation needs help. Overall we loved it and will be back.

    This was our 3rd time. I had the stuffed chicken and it is amazing! Our friends loved it here, and we enjoyed a free dessert for my husband’s birthday! The wine selection is wonderful!

    Very good experience. We had a seat right at the window, upper level - excellent view. We boated there across Lake Cadillac and used their dock. Prices are a little high for Cadillac, but not high for the quality/quantity/location/experience. Swordfish portion was a little small, but pasta portion was huge. Steak in salad was overcooked but had a good flavor. Price for a bottle of wine is reasonable. We will be back!

    The first dining experience was excellent. This past Wednesday, it was very disappointing to say the least. First of all, the bourbon on the rocks didn't have a lot ice and then to make matters worst the waitress charged us $1.50 for a glass of ice. Then, I ordered cream spinach and it was not c. spinach, but waitress argued with me. Finally, she admitted it was not cream spinach. After eating my scallops, my cream spinach arrived. A little late, I would say. It's a beautiful restaurant with great views, they just need to get their act together.

    We were able to eat on the deck. Our reservation was for 6 but they were able to accommodate the 2 extra people we brought along with no problem. We were concerned about the price of food as we had heard it was expensive but were pleasantly surprised to find it very competitive with other fine dining places. We had two teens with us and each of their very ample meals was $14. Our most expensive meal was an 8 ounce steak for $24. I had the salmon special for the evening and it was one of the best meals I have ever had. The chef visited our table to talk about food and to be sure we enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend.

    Of our four meals, three were not acceptable. The salmon was overcooked and very salty. The crab stuffed walleye was undercooked with a very unpleasant aroma. The broccoli and fries were cold. The broccoli was virtually raw. The fries appeared to have been precooked as they were limp and cold. We did not complain.

    We were out to eat with some friends from out of state. None of us had ever been to the restaurant and when we got there the menu looked a little pricey at first but once we got our food it was certainly the right proportions for the cost. I have never been in the old restaurant and so I have nothing to compare the new renovations to but it is an absolutely beautiful restaurant. It is bright and clean and modern. We will definitely be going back. I want to try the walleye!
