The menu item that I ordered, called “The Brass Rail”, came in an iron skillet with about an inch of liquid in the bottom. This dish is not supposed to look like soup, but it did. I ordered it with chicken instead of steak and the chicken was dry and tough. The whole dish was over seasoned and extremely salty from the soy sauce. It was pretty much inedible. My baked potato was cooked perfectly however. My husband’s meal, thankfully, was good. His steak was cooked perfectly and he loved the Shrimp Dejonghe that was part of his “Double Dose” entree. The service was very good.

We were seated in an alcove at the front of the restaurant. It was quiet enough for our table of 6 to have a nice conversation without having to scream! The room was attractive, with a large stained glass window and stained glass light fixtures. The food was good and arrived in a short time. The waitress was attentive but not intrusive. Overall good experience. There is an attractive outdoor patio where we usually sit, but it was closed due to strong wind that day.

A friend recommended Doc Pierce after a day of campus tours. The service was fantastic and overly attentive. The value and presentation was beyond our expectations expectations. We were also not rushed out and allowed to visit which was wonderful. Thank you for exactly what was needed.

The food was very good! My wife's steak was a little overdone but because she orders medium well! The house salads were amazing! Prices were fair and the atmosphere was welcoming but a little dark for me! But I do have to say the stained glass is awesome 👌!

Quiet, after the rush. Staff very polite and attentive. I ordered the salmon with rice as a side. Didn’t know it came with rice already or I would have ordered another side. The salmon was covered with teriyaki sauce. Wasn’t aware of that either. Had to scrape off the sauce. Felt like I should have been warned/updated by the staff as I ordered my dish.

It has been quite a long time since we visited because we moved across town. We were in the area so stopped in for a bite. The food was good especially the salmon. My spouse had the filet.. said it could have been seasoned a little better. The service was good considering how busy they were at the time of our visit.

WE enjoyed the atmosphere, and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Such a nice place. The food was very good, and was nicely priced. My husband and I both enjoyed the meal. The only thing I could possibly say that would be a little negative, is that the bathroom stalls were very small, so possibly a little inconvenient. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this restaurant. 5 stars!!!

Met friends at Doc Pierce's for dinner on a Thursday evening at 5:30. Honestly I hadn't been there in almost 20 years. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I had the Intern which is ground ribeye with mushroom sauce & cheddar on it. It was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. My friends both had the French onion soup & salad and both said they really liked it. We enjoyed the ambiance & found it easy to talk & hear each other. I definitely won't wait another 20 years to go again!

Very nice restaurant with good and fast service. Prices were reasonable too. Streamed vegetables were a bit overdone but the onion rings were amazing. Potato skins were very good too.

I ordered the 12 ounce ribeye medium. It was cooked well, but I didn’t complain because it was still flavorful juicy. The salad and fries were great! My son had the cheeseburger and loved it.
