   I was disappointed with my experience as I was hoping to enjoy the new Doc Martens! The food was good not great and that had everything to do with the potatoes being minimally cooked and that was half of our plates. The waitress was not available to ask about the potatoes until we were done and then when we mentioned it, she noted that she’d share the feedback with the chef but made no attempt to offer an alternative, or a discount. I really wanted to experience the quality food that was once synonymous with Doc Martens, but found our experience to be average at best.

   My wife had the fajitas which were very tasty. I ordered the enchiladas with green chilies and they were delicious. The best part was the margarita we both had. It was not the best margarita that I have had but very good. After eating we ordered desert and Bailey’s and listened to music in the Adobe bar. I would definitely recommend Doc Martin’s to anyone visiting Taos.

   After being seated and getting water, was told server will be right over. 15 minutes later, we caught a server and asked where she was. Apparently server stepped out. Another came by, apologized, took our order. Food was served hot, delicious, and wine selection fit perfectly. Then trying to gain servers attention for 10 minutes after finishing eating, finally was able to order desert. Apologies again, desert was complimentary. I would go back, food was good, and stopping in the bar for an after dinner cocktail, all ended up all right. Bartender was friendly and attentive, fun to talk to.

   Our Sunday brunch was outstanding. Smoked salmon and spinach omelette along with an order of French toast. The hazelnut butter for the French toast was a great added touch. Our server, Holly was great and we appreciated her suggestions.

   Delicious food and great atmosphere. Our party ordered the beef enchiladas, fajitas (steak), carne adovada, and brined chicken- each dish was fantastic and the meat so tender and flavorful. Service was wonderful!

   We always look forward to a dinner at Doc's. The service is great, and the food is usually pretty good. Last visit was a little off. Service good, but the wine list was lacking, a lot, and the food was not as described. Very disappointed that nobody cared.

   Lovely atmosphere and decor. Great menu selection for our party which included a vegetarian and GF. The beet salad was excellent and the service was great. One negative: the ‘truffle green chile fries’ were a real disappointment. They were just regular fries with barely discernible truffle, limited Parmesan and non-existent green chile. They were offered as an appetizer but were definitely more of a side and definitely not worth the $16 price tag.
