Doc Ford's is a great go-to and it did not disappoint this time, for a little Father's Day celebration. Everyone enjoyed their entrees, especially the cedar planked salmon and the new shrimp salad (love the dill and very fresh!). Good service and had a table with water view which was so pretty. A little loud so harder for older parents to hear, but that's always par for the course there. We had a great meal and enjoyed everything!

Doc Ford's was VERY crowded when we went, but it was Father's Day, so understandable. The table shared the crabcake appetizer and I had the Shrimp and Grits, while my in-laws shared the Macadamia Nut Crusted grouper. EVERYTHING was fresh and delicious. My only complaint was that I wasn't a fan of the masa flour coating on the shrimp. Everything was absolutely delicious and the waitstaff handled the massive crowd with aplomb. We will definitely be back.

Everything was nice but it was just too hot ...we had a table in the back next to the bar ..it was too hot and we were all uncomfortable..literally sweating

We always make it a point to go to Doc Ford’s when visiting St. Petersburg, FL. The Yucatán Shrimp is what always brings us back. Order extra bread - IYKYK. The drinks are pretty decent, but a bit pricey. You have to pay for parking which is typical for the area. I would recommend reservations if you don’t want to wait super long.

Doc Fords is one of our favorites. This past Sunday it was SUPER busy and the food took much longer to come out than ever before. Food was good once we received it though. Kam, our server, was very good and we know it wasn't his fault. We didn't even complain because the situation was pretty clear.

Absolutely fantastic meal — hands down the best of our entire vacation! The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, the service was top-notch, and the food? Incredible. Do not leave without trying the Yucatan shrimp — bold, flavorful, and unforgettable. Trust me, you’ll be thinking about it long after you leave. Can’t wait to come back!
