What is District One? Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) is separated into 12 districts and District One is the epicenter for Entertainment and Dining. At District One in Las Vegas we are dedicated to bringing our customers a unique dining experience. Our flavors are distinctly Asian but not necessarily just Vietnamese. When we created the concept of District One, we wanted to create a menu that would reflect our personalities, our heritage and our experiences. District One’s chef and co-founders, are all long time Las Vegas Residents with a passion for food. That being said, District One's founders have taken inspiration all the way from Vietnam, Thailand, China and Japan to combine them with flavors from Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and New York.

                                                                              Restaurant was highly recommended by several people. Food was delicious and wanted to give 5 stars all around but my initial interaction with staff wasn’t so great. Sat in booth for over 15 minutes while I wait for the other party to arrive without any acknowledgement I was seated and had to ask for a beverage. Otherwise, food was very tasty.

                                                                              The service was not great to say the least. The waitress was unexperienced and unfamiliar with the menu. When their were problems with both our order and food she took ownership but did not show any customer service in finding solutions. She unfortunately forgot an individual’s order and when it arrived it was half the portion size and sloppily put together. She also gave us the ring appetizer and when we asked if their were peppers in a dish she said no and of course there were. The service put a damper on the whole birthday evening.

                                                                              This is a fun place to go with a group, food was exceptional, in particular the beef carpaccio and oxtail fried rice. We went to District One to celebrate a milestone birthday, there was a group of eight, and most everything was great. One person in our party did send their bowl of noodles back as it was not hot enough, but everything else was great. Someone in our party accidentally tipped a water glass over, and an attentive server came by promptly with a couple of towels. Our server accommodated with taking group photos of our party, the atmosphere was energetic, even at 10:00 pm.

                                                                              We loved this place! The food packs a lot of flavor, generous portions; and priced right! I had a delicious pear cocktail that was sweet with a lovely spicy end note. A new favorite place!
