Disappointed last night that we had made a reservation, but had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. The family in line ahead of us (without a reservation) was seated immediately, but we had to wait. I asked the hostess how this happened and she said “my manager told me to seat people as they come regardless of reservation.”

I have been several times to Dish Society and will keep coming back - Almost always very good. My last experience was a bit disappointing. The food was overcooked and slow in arriving. However, it was extremely busy so I am sure kitchen and wait staff were having a hard time keeping up.

We made a last minute stop at the restaurant. My daughter was running the Houston Half and needed a hearty but healthy meal the night before. My son and I are on Whole 30. There were excellent choice for all! Food was Delish and service was stellar. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

I was disappointed with the steak I ordered in the Farmers dish. It had no flavor and was a bit tough. Every thing else tasted good. Serve ce was so-so.

Fabulous food! Fabulous portions! Our waiter was kind, but unfortunately we couldn't hear much that he was saying (mumbling + near the bar seating). Loved the juices/non-alcoholic drink selection. Pesto pasta was so good, especially liked the slight kick to the grilled chicken! Brussels sprouts were great (prefer slightly crispier, but that's just me). Turkey sandwich was huge and delicious.
Will be returning to try more of the menu!

I thought the pear and arugula grilled cheese sandwich was delicious. I also had the tomato and basil soup, which I didn't care for. I'm sorry, but it can't compare with La Madeleine's tomato basil soup. Everyone else enjoyed their dishes- the shrimp tacos and citrus salmon with a side of sweet potatoes. I will definitely return for the grilled cheese. Please don't ever take that off the menu!

food was delicious and our wait staff was very attentive. I think it was a little pricey.

Well this wasn't our best night out. The restaurant ambience is nice, although I misunderstood that the outside tables are on the sidewalk/street or picnic table style located on a slab of concrete between the restaurant and another store in the small strip center. Husband had to park across the street to park at 6:35 pm so very limited in spots. Greeted nicely, friendly waiter. I was seated first while others trolled for parking, my 9 ounce glass of wine was delivered promptly, although we all agreed the pour was very very short in the glass. Two other drinks took an unusual amount of time for delivery, not by waiter. Ordered two apps -- fried grit balls. Good idea, not such hot execution. Too large, the inside grits can't really hold and when you took a bit a glob fell to plate. Biggest issue was not really hot....panko, Gouda and grits dont really hold up when not super hot. Kitchen issue. Other app was pork belly bites, nice flavor but over cooked. My entree pesto pasta just didn't have the flavor I would have expected. Asked for some parm and that somewhat saved the dish. Two ordered yams filled with bbq and topped with slaw. Wow, looked so good coming out! But no, slaw wasn't dressed, just a huge (Way too much) mound of bitter iah cabbage, no dressing/sauce on bbq .. just sitting on a big old yam. If my husband, who eats anything and cares not a wit about spicing and sauce says something is blah, it is seriously blah. One person had Shrimp and Grits and very much enjoyed it. For information, one of the diners is a professionally trained pastry chef, has some experience with flavors!
