Beautiful place with fun cocktails and great service. Salmon was incredible and cooked perfectly!
Lamb sliders are awesome, you must try them. Atlantic Salmon and Duck entrees are only exceeded by the quality of service, which is also amazing
Great atmosphere but way too expensive for what you get.
service needs to be improved, and most of the waiters need to be able to speak full english
Decor/ Ambiance were exceptional. Service was a little slow considering when we went, it wasn't that busy. The food overall is great! Overall, a great experience and will return again.
I’m just upset they took the Coconut Curry Lentil bowl off their menu. Also, their menu is far less vegan and vegetarian dishes (new chef perhaps?). However, the Risotto and Watermelon Tartar was delicious. We’ll
Be going back soon…
So, I normally don’t write reviews but I must say our experience was great. We arrived at our reservation at 8:30 and was told by the hostess that the restaurant was in the weeds and she didn’t know when we would be able to be seated. This made us uneasy considering that we were very hungry and needed to be reassured that we would be seated in a reasonable time. We asked for the general manager and when I say she was INCREDIBLE. She offered us a complementary drink and had us seated immediately. Our food came out extremely fast and everything was great.
The food, service and ambiance was amazing. I'll be back!
This was the Thanksgiving dinner private event, and there was a set menu and price with choice of white or dark meat turkey and choice of sides and dessert. With three glasses of wine, it was $75 per person, which seemed reasonable for D.C. The tip is automatically added on, so $200 a couple. I would think most people would be generous and tip at least 20% or more on Thanksgiving, so felt that was unnecessary but okay. Our server didn’t seem happy to be there, not that I can blame her working on that day, but any question we asked about the food was met with a kind of “well duh” response, like of course they’re cooked this way! The glasses of wine were more like sips, tastings of 1oz. The turkey was very dry; the stuffing was burnt. I’m just surprised as usually this place is nice and the food and service are wonderful. That’s why I chose it over other places. Hopefully, it was a one-time thing - but maybe management needs to reward those working on a holiday better to ensure the higher standards are maintained?
Went in for a quick bite. Beets 4 ways always great, salad served with it is excellent and perfectly sized. French onion soup with short rib is an inventive and tasty take on an old recipe—the chef is a master.
Thank you Dino for a great evening.
Very expensive; average food. Service was great.
This was a great spot for an intimate dinner with family. The service was great and food was amazing!
Always had an amazing time at the restaurant. Beautiful decor. Friendly staff and guests. I love this place.
Ordered the steak and frites. The steak tasted great. Asked twice for two new garlic butters, both came out frozen and rock hard. Disappointed with the food quality was really looking forward to eating here.
I really enjoyed myself. I will definitely recommend to friends and family. I’ve listed the restaurant as one of my top five!!!!
Great place to eat, I would recommend for a date night!
A restaurant that is conspicuously full of itself. A rude greeting on arrival, waitress who knew nothing about the menu and neglected us for the most part. Food executed without any imagination, unlike the adjacent hotel which has class. Setting aside diners, probably the worst eating out experience since economy started re-opening in the pandemic.Very expensive for what it is. Used to be a lovely establishment but now needs a brain transplant
We were in a bit of a rush to make it to a concert nearby. Our waitress gave us good answers to all our questions about the cocktail and food menus. Drinks and food were first rate. She also made sure we were served in plenty of time to make it to the concert.
The food was varied and delicious. The portions were also quite large.
The ambience is fabulous but the food was very pricey for small servings.
The service was very poor and food was just okay. However, I believe they knew the service was mediocre and tried to throw in free dessert and Prosecco. Very unfortunate as this restaurant seems to have potential. Terrible use of masks as well. Our server kept pulling his mask down to talk to us when we could clearly hear him just fine with it on.
The restaurant was great. Good ambience, cool vibe, lots of people. Though they were very short staffed they took great care of us. The food was sooooo good! Desserts were great. Drinks were great. Everything was great!
Kimpton hotel restaurants are always top notch!
Quick service, good quality food, a little expensive and did not realize it is attached to a hotel. The ambiance was cool and I would recommend going here.
Dino was a fantastic server. He went above and beyond. Great experience! We will absolutely be back.
Poor food and service
Great drinks and vibe.
So good! Highly recommend the Monaco Sidecar as well.
Second time eating here. First time was for dinner and this specific time for brunch. Overall a very nice environment. I empathize with busy staff which can affect experience.
Amazing food, service & atmosphere. Everything was top notch!
Dino was our server this evening, and he truly was such a joy to be around. He was full of positive energy and attentive during our whole meal. The short rib and lamb ragu were both fork tender and flavorful. The lamb sliders were smokey and juicy. Our cocktails were expertly crafted and creative. We were so happy to see that menu retained its creative and indulgent flair and that the service remained to be top-notch, after not having visited since pre-pandemic times. Thank you, Dirty Habit. We’re so happy to be back!❤️
This is my second time visiting for brunch and I was so pleased with the service and atmosphere. The food was delicious. I brought some guests who have never dined here and they loved it!! I will be back!!
Food tastes old. Restaurant lacks refinement. Noisy due to open kitchen. It has a cheap boutique hotel vibe, meaning furnished with cheap items that look nice in photos, but are not meant for commercial use. Service was comparable to what I would expect at a diner.
The floor was filthy. Larges dust balls covered the carpet.
Service was SLOW and our server kept forgetting things we asked for.
The staff is very friendly and the food is good.
Reservation was at 9pm, got seated at 9:40pm. Had to rush dinner since parking closed at 11. Food was not that great. Most drinks on menu was sold out.
We went for a pregame dinner. Arrived and were seated in the "side room" since the main dining room was booked for a wedding reception. The room was narrow but comfortable. Server arrived promptly and after reviewing the menu we order wine, appetizer, and entree. Everything arrived in appropriate timing. The food was tasty and well prepared. Service was friendly but not "professional".
They automatically add 20% to the food/beverage total - so beware!
All in all, we probably won't be back.
Quality food and pleasant dining experience at Dirty Habit.
Yummy food. Great ambiance. Delicious cocktails. Great outdoor bar
