Everything was amazing! The service, cocktails, ambiance.. everything! Would highly recommend.

Nice Place - great service - good food neat ambiance
The short ribs were fabulously delicious!
Met a friend for lunch, they had a brunch menu and a bar menu available for the time we were dining. Beautiful atmosphere, there were a couple of pesky fruit flies which was annoying but the service was good and my rock shrimp and salad were great. I would definitely come again, probably for dinner next time.
Exquisite! Jackson was as good as has been noted here before. The beet salad appetizer was perfect in flavor, size and presentation. The added Brussels sprouts made it even better. The burger with a side salad instead of fries, was among the best I’ve had.
The chef and the prep team are to be commended!
We had the Sea Bass and it did not disappoint, it was delicious and the service was excellent!
Food was excellent and the service was unobtrusive and just the right amount of checking up.
Fabulous and fun, very energetic! Service was great, considering it was a very busy Friday night.
We shared the Tempura shrimp.. good but a little greasy, charcuterie board...fine, dinners were burgers (ok) short ribs(great!) and Sea Bass (fabulous)
Nice little hot spot!
Food was delicious. We were able to be seated early. Service was decent
Location was key for what we needed.
Food wasn’t great
The staff were friendly enough, but stretched a little thin. The food was fine, but not out of this world. The noise was significant.
Dirty habit is a great place to grab a drink as the ambiance is great and the happy hour deal is solid. However, in regards to dinner, it was very overpriced for the food that we received Portions were very small for averaging $30 a plate.
Somewhat limited menu but well prepared food. Interesting drink menu. We had a very nice waiter who helped us negotiate the offerings.
Went for brunch at 11AM on a Sunday - not my first choice but we were going to a 12 noon Caps game and it was convenient. We had a reservation. Service was terrible. We had to ask multiple times for drinks. I got up to serve myself water since there was no server in site. Food was pretty good, but the complete lack of service didn't make up for it.
Great brunch menu! Good service! Beautiful restaurant!
Jackson was amazing and welcoming and made brunch 1000x more fun. The Bloody Mary was especially delicious - it’s spicy, so if that’s your jam, it’s definitely for you.
Went with wife over Valentines weekend. The four course meal option was HORRIBLE!!! First course I chose came out and looked like a tuna fruit roll up rolled flat on a plate with two bread stick pieces... The second course was gnocchi which was good but portion size was so small, I think there was like four pieces of gnocchi on my plate. The third course was duck, which was cold, unseasoned, and just plain. The last course was there take on German chocolate cake. But far from it... it was a brownie at best. Left disappointed after spending $300 for a dinner that left us walking out and going to the closest fast food place to get something to eat. I wouldn’t recommend this place for dinner but if you’re there for a drink, it’s okay... Don’t waste your money!!! The hype is not worth it...
It was wonderful. Liz was the best.
The restaurant has a nice ambience. It was crowded but expected for DC. We thought the food was overpriced. However, the drinks were worth it.
It was horrible This entire experience. The advertising was very deceptive.
The food was very good and our waiter was excellent. However, there was a thirty minute delay seating us (8:00 reservation and seated at 8:30) and we didn’t get our main course until 10. The wait staff was very pleasant and did provide champagne for the wait but the delay was frustrating. We would like to give the restaurant one more chance because the food and staff were otherwise great.
Great special date night location. I enjoyed the ambiance and the food was absolutely fabulous.
I have very low standards when it comes to food and personally dislike food reviewers. But let me tell you. An $89 valentines deal for each person for a four course meal. Sounds great, but the food portions were very, very tiny. Good food, but maybe worth a $50 deal. I also got a call two days from an employee confining my reservation before Valentine’s Day telling me that the deal is the only option, so I was pretty much forced to paying more than double for what I originally budgeted for and keeping the reservation at that point since it was so late. Nice waitress though, although I can tell the hostess did not treat me and my girlfriend equally to other guests. We were barely acknowledged.
The food was way overpriced for the amount they serve you. My wifi and I left hungry after spending over $200 and went to another restaurant for more food. We are not big eater but believe two appetizers and two main dishes should be enough for two people.
This was our first time. We should have researched it better because we did not realize it is more bar than restaurant and we were seated right in the middle of it. The noise level - not surprisingly - was high because of that. As the bar started to empty out it did get quieter. We were there for Valentines Day and the menu was good. The food was also good but not great except my husband’s onion soup was not hot. The service was also good. I don’t think we will go back.
Food was absolutely delicious and the attention from the servers was superb. Will definitely recommend to friends.
I went here for an early Valentine's Day and birthday celebration, and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves. The staff was very attentive to our table's needs and questions to provide an amazingly welcoming dining experience, even going as far as offering a pairing of wines for meals we ordered. Very good service! Would HIGHLY recommend giving them a try.
Amazing lunch. Great place for a meeting.
Went for my birthday. the look of the place was great. Truffle fries were amazing. Burger was okay.
Extremely fresh food, highly attentive staff, great drinks, highly recommend for any date night!
Eating brunch before Caps game, and things moved at a brisk pace so we made it with time to spare. The eggs in my wife's benedictb were not as hot as they should have been, but the rest of that dish and my french toast were delicious. Server was prompt and friendly.
Excellent food , friendly and cert very polite service and the restaraunt is well designed for privacy
I loved the ambiance. I’ll be back during the hot months to enjoy the outside.
Waitress Veronica was so helpful. Went out of her way to make sure we got to our next destination . Made excellent recommendations too.
Went here for lunch which I’ve done many times before. The menu has changed and it is now brunch everyday. Initially I was thrown for a loop, but ended up having eggs and sausage. It was fine. Just missed the traditional lunch.
The ambience was the best thing about Dirty Habit. Romantic, contemporary and with muted lighting that was still adequate to read the menu. Although we had a reservation, we still left waiting ten minutes to be seated. Initial service was prompt but follow-on was lacking. We ordered off the restaurant week menu and found that some dishes came with an additional charge that was not well identified in the menu. The prime ribeye was served with fries that were average at best. Over all, the experience was disappointing.
I would highly recommend Dirty Habit. It was classy with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff happily accommodated my gluten free diet. I had the Tempura shrimp and Braised short ribs. My husband had the Chilean Sea Bass. Everything was wonderful and I still want more of the shrimp.
I enjoy Dirty a habit since quiet and elegant. Oil for roasting potatoes tasted a bit rancid but everything else was terrific. We mentioned to the waitress but no new potatoes arrived. Our reduced carb diet was thus maintained as we left the potatoes.
The hostess was a little bit rude when I asked for a different seating area . Being a Current hostess I know that it’s a certain way you handle things and customers when serving them and her response was very much so rude . Over all my server was very very helpful
And loving
