Dino's Steak & Claw House
Dino’s Steak and Claw has an incredible menu and amazing ambiance working in its favor. You can find it in the historic Grapevine area of Dallas. It is in a vintage bank building, and once through the doors, you’ll immediately notice that much of its classic look remains intact.
Of course, you’ll soon be busy with the menu at Dino’s Steak and Claw. As the name suggests, this restaurant is all about surf and turf. However, there is also plenty of poultry to be enjoyed too. You can order things such as beef medallions, Atlantic salmon or a fresh salad. While you eat at Dino’s Steak and Claw, a local pianist will keep you entertained with some light music.

Everyone and everything was fantastic! We had a table in a corner which was perfect to celebrate our friend’s work anniversary. The service was impeccable and the food and drinks were fabulous!
Thanks to all!
Dino’s never disappoints. This is our go to place for our anniversary every year, as well as any other time that we want a really good meal. The wait staff is extremely attentive as well as friendly.
Monte was incredible. Thanks for a great evening
Wait staff couldnt get order correct. Left off ordered items twice. Had to ask for basic items such as utensils and water
We’ve been meaning to try this place for years and finally did. Service was a little slow to start, but it was busy and things quickly improved. Food was delicious. And we loved the piano player who even came by our booth to see if we wanted her to play anything special. Nice touch! I love a good steak “joint” with white tablecloths and live piano music…and Dino’s did not disappoint!
Larry was our server, exceptional service, very personable.
Great food! Piano player was very good also.
Dinos helped us celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary with class! We received an anniversary card from the staff and a lovely tiramisu for dessert that said Happy Anniversary! The Dodd was served hot and was delicious!
Drinks were a bit pricey!
Overall it was an awesome experience!
The food was very good. I had the halibut and my husband had a steak. And we both enjoyed our meal. It was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. Loved the live piano player. Would definitely recommend and will return for our next celebration
The food was amazing. The staff was on point. Great experience
Really enjoyed our meal. The menu had great options and all of our entrees came out perfectly.
Waitress forgot my order of drinks and appetizer. Reservation was at 7:15. We didn’t get our dinner until after 9p.
Very loud to have a conversation. Waiter took forever talked very low and hard to hear and understand. The guy clearing the tables would come buy and pick up plates without asking if we were done so several plates were removed from the table and we were not finished.
Food was great, service was outstanding.
Food was great! As Was the service! Really a neat location and building.
We just love to eat at Dino's. You can always be assured of a delicious dinner with superb service and friendly staff. And Grapevine is easy to get to and it's easy to find parking. A gem of a place in this era of corporate steak-houses. I highly recommend Dino's!
What a wonderful experience for our 22nd anniversary. The service was outstanding, and the restaurant was beautiful.
Food was delicious!! The best Lobster Bisque I have ever had!!
The steaks were excellent......the service was spectacular.
Service: 5.0 - our server was excellent. Friendly and she remembered the little things. Also the food came out very timely as well.
Lobster bisque is excellent here. You don’t get the big chunks of lobster that you do in the high end steakhouses, so because of the lack of lobster the price could be better (i.e…why is it so much if there’s hardly any lobster). But, the flavor is outstanding nonetheless.
Chilean sea bass, which my wife had, was also excellent. I’ll be ordering this next time I come.
I had the sesame crusted ahi tuna and I’d rate that a 3 out of 5. Wasn’t that it was bad, just that it was bland. Its also sliced into thin strips, which when stacked together still doesn’t give you that much of a piece for the $32 price, so the value is so-so.
Drink prices: 2.0…go drink elsewhere before or after. Cocktails and whiskey seem upcharged more than other restaurants for what you get.
This place is definitely worth going to, just wish they’d fine tune some of the value on the menu.
This was one of the best meals from start to finish I've ever had and I've been to every 5 star in the metroplex. The filet and scallops were perfect as was my wife's sea bass & crab.
To top it off our server was outstanding. She was tentative but not overboard. I'll be back again and again.
Ordered the following: Special (10oz filet, 2 scallops, veggies, mashed potatoes), 1 piece grilled chicken and steamed asparagus, Cesar salad, Unsweet tea and 2 old fashioned. Bill without tip was $150, I have dietary restrictions and so my meal was modified. I could boy eat the asparagus because it was buttered & the chicken was dry and chewy. Caesar salad tasted pre-made and was extremely salty. The old fashion’s were “meh”. The only thing good about the meal was the special. Service was friendly and prompt.
The food was fine but the service was horrible. We had the Lobster Bisque and we had leftovers. After waiting about 15 min for them to take our bowels they packages them up and came back to the table and placed a large plastic bag on our table with our leftovers. We had not received our dinner yet but clearly they were ready for us to leave. Let me set the mood - my wife and I are celebrating our anniversary, we each have a glass of wine, nice lighting, piano playing and we are waiting on our main course - our waiter then plops a large plastic bag of our leftover soup on the table; how romantic. A few min later our main courses come out and they take what is left of our bread and butter. We might of as well had gotten our food to go.
Awesome! Sarah was great!
For steak and seafood at those same prices it doesn't compare to Trulucks or Bob's.
Great food and service. Enjoyed the piano playing during dinner.
Took some customers here for dinner and everyone raved about the food. Complete success!
My friend’s steak was cooked incorrectly…twice. We were done by the time it arrived for the third time. Wedge salad was offered with no bacon? That’s not a wedge. When we asked if it could be added we were told the restaurant had no bacon. None. Silly. Bar is good but the rest was def below average.
Absolutely a wonderful experience and the food was phenomenal.
Beautiful restraunt with great food. Perfect for date night or a celebration.
Larry was a great waiter. He would suggest items that made our dining experience the best. I had the halibut which was divine and my husband had the surf and turf special which he said was the best steak he has EVER eaten.
Great service and amazing food from appetizers to dessert! We had a wonderful Anniversary dinner we will be back.
From the moment we walked in to see the cool bar and piano player we knew we were in for something special. Amaris our server was outstanding along with the steaks, scallops and horseradish claws and drinks. Keep up the great service and food!
Was a reduced menu for Father’s Day. The food was so so. Staff was nice. Would have liked to have more than a couple choices.
Very nice first time experience.
Food was awesome, filet, scallops, chilean sea bass and a large bone in ribeye. Everyone was pleased.
Highly recommend, will return.
Every time I dine here is always an enjoyable experience
This is my second time to this restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the Chilean Seabass which was probably the best I have ever eaten with a drop up of crab on top. I felt that the wait staff was a little bit Stiff, needs to loosen up just a bit in this environment.
What keeps me from giving the experience of five star is something that I have never experienced in my life. I explained that I don’t eat potatoes and would like to substitute the asparagus.
So I was told that the restaurant has a policy that you can’t exchange carbs for vegetables, say what. So I ended up paying that extra eight dollars for the asparagus with no compensation for not eating the potatoes. Seriously strange rules. It seems to me in this day and age, we should be a little bit flexible with returning customers. So I paid $90.78 for a meal which included the 20% tip. Now I guess I could’ve said since you don’t exchange carbs for vegetables I only tip 10%. But no I took the highroad and gave the 20% for the overcharged meal. And that’s why it only gets a four-star and not a five star
Escargots were amazing
