   Our waiter Tom was ever so attentive, and made our dining experience even better. The setting is so beautiful and we were lucky with the glorious weather!

   Food was superb, but I can imagine the domes get very hot. However, some points to note…. 12.5% discretionary service was added. The waiter was charming (more about that later) but when I checked service charge was passed on to the serving staff I was told that the ENTIRE service charge is retained by the company - so leave cash tips! The food is expensive but high quality. However, if I’m paying that amount I don’t expect a tea pot of hot water with a few tea bags on the side - fine for a travel lodge but not when paying top dollar! The waiter was lovely, but when we arrived the charming young woman apologized because she “hadn’t been trained and had to wait to be shown what to do”. Our waiter whilst friendly and charming, when asked about the menu got both descriptions wrong (didn’t matter because food was great) However, for the price we did feel they should have staff who know a little more about the food….. but then if the company don’t pass on the tips…..

   Was not sure what to expect, but the dining domes dining experience was a lovely one, we were celebrating our wedding anniversary with family, relaxed, did not feel rushed, food lovely but i think the fellas were a little disappointed with the portion sizes, had 3 courses, felt comfortable after the meal, let’s just say no one had to undo a button or belt! Would do the experience again

   Really enjoyable evening. Lovely staff. (thank you Lola for serving us so well!) Very good dinner, beautifully presented which cannot be easy in the outside - and our pod was the furthest from the food point!

   The whole experience was something very special. The views and the actual dining pods are so unusual, and I would have been leaving glowing praise based on the view from Windmill Hill alone. I must also mention the service. Our server was Charlotte and she was so friendly and helpful, but I must also praise all the service, and it can't be easy to provide silver service over grass and an uphill slope. So I feel rather churlish leaving one minor gripe. The food was delicious but as we drove away I found I was still really rather hungry, which is odd for a three course meal. So don't starve yourself before going, and have a snack first! That said, would I go back next year, absolutely!

   It was a good experience. Food are unexpectedly good and in good portion. The dome doesn't look at posh as per the photos but still very special.

   It was far too expensive with a lot of extras essential to the meal that aren’t included in the set menu (afternoon tea). And after initial ordering, we didn’t see staff again so had to go find someone an hour later to get more drinks. It was also far too hot for the food to cope so the cakes etc had melted before we got to them. Having an ice bucket for the water would have been good too. The view and overall novelty of the experience was the winner, without it the meal was average at best - small portions yet cost us £170 for 2 adults and 2 kids. I’ve spent less at Claridge’s! Would recommend for a very special occasion only - and maybe just for meals rather than afternoon tea.

   Rather disappointing, as no refills of tea /coffee and only 1 pot of tea between 5 of us. Service was very slow, we requested more milk 3 times and waited 20 mins for it to appear, requested more hot water, same thing, a lengthy wait. Part of the sweet option was a very lovely chocolate mousse which resembled an ice cream on a stick. Due to the hot weather however, this sadly melted, and was thus difficult to eat. Lovely view over Windmill Hill, but need more staff to deal with busy periods and for them to be more co-ordinated and work as part of a team. It was for this reason that we requested that the service charge applied be removed from our bill.
