We missed our reso time but they still got us in fast. Get there by 10am for a fast Saturday morn breakfast! Our kids food arrived before we even had a chance to order for ourselves! Note: they cannot serve alcohol (read Bailey's) before 10am tho. Kids meals are plentiful for our 3&5 yo's. .. they could have shared it!

Have been to the original location multiple times and always wanted to come back for more. The ambience of the Aspen location was very nice, however, the food was quite mediocre. Had the Canadian bacon and grilled tomato eggs Benedict - the english muffin was soggy and not toasted (which is what I am used to) and the bacon (which was really back bacon) was also soggy and didn't seem to be cooked much at all. Not sure the tomato was really grilled, it was more lukewarm than anything. To redeem this dish, the eggs were beautifully poached and the hollandaise was quite lovely. Overall meal was disappointing though - may try this location one more time to see if that was just an anomaly. Hopefully it was!

We always love coming to Diner Delxue. Being able to make a reservation is a real plus - we hope this doesn't go away, as it keeps us coming back. We drive all the way from the SE to come here! The food is always fantastic, and it's not overly loud despite being kid-friendly. One of my face breakfast spots for sure!

Very disappointed as I had was very excited to eat dinner at this newer location. Arived 30min early. We were seated (yay). I ordered rib bits for the kids while we waited for the rest of our party. Kids menus has 3 items for dinner mac and cheese, grilled cheese and spaghetti. Son wants a burger. I am told the regular one will be too big for him. Others showed up no rib bits.We all ordered. VERY SLOW! no ribs. Finally food arrives, Carbonara cold and egg overcooked, burger was not too big so son could have eaten it and not shared; poutine was not tasty; meatloaf was great and my salad never came. no rib bits. I asked about the ribs and the server said oh no I forgot!! we cancelled. Then she tells me they burned my chicken and my salad will take longer. Salad finally arrives and it looks like entire bag of mixed greens is on the plate with the beets around the side. kind of ridiculous! Overall very disappointed with the whole meal.

We brought some friends here after they got engaged. The food was fantastic. The service was good, too. I would like to got back to try to get a spot on their patio. Our spot right by the front door wasn't the best (I did try to ask to move but was told no luck).

I had heard great things about Diner Deluxe so my boyfriend and I decided to go for brunch. We arrived and stood at the front for a few minutes and then the bartender asked if we had a reservation. We did so she wanted the hostess to seat us. It took the hostess over 10 minutes to seat us. So crazy. Then it took AGES for our food to come. We arrived at 1130 and didn't leave until just after 1245. Ridiculous for brunch! My bf and I were unimpressed and would not go back.

Diner Deluxe is the only restaurant where I can say I've enjoyed my dining experience from start to end, since having a little one. Dining here makes me feel like a successful parent! They are very accommodating with yummy food options for little ones, and I can sit back and relax to eat my meal while my little one plays in the activity area. And unlike a typical family style restaurant, the food options are all interesting and delicious. Mmmmm, love the breakfast sandwich :) Anytime I'm looking for a place to host a mom & tot breakfast date, this is my location of choice.

This was our first time to the restaurant and we had a large group (our daughter and 8 friends) for lunch. Service was excellent, friendly and attentive, everyone enjoyed the food (except the fish & chips they were just meh compared to everything else) there is a patio that faces the lake but we were inside. I would definitely try and get patio spot the next time as the path was not too busy. We will absolutely be back.
