The food was excellent and the service really great as well. Sara was the hostess who greeted us and did a great job making us feel welcome and checking in to make sure everything was to our liking.

This is a new restaurant. We picked it because we are vegan and the website features the word vegan, as does every page of the menu. Yet, when we got there we were unable to tell which items were vegan. We asked our waiter and he had no idea. Finally a second server arrived and after some back and forth, we were given choice of 2 appetizers and 2 dishes. Keep in mind the menu is 7 or 8 large pages and the word vegan is on EVERY page. The food was ok. We had their saffron rice (might as well have ordered plain rice since this rice had no flavour) and a zucchini dish and an eggplant dish. It was my husband's birthday so we ordered a drink to start: 1 oz of scotch, 1 oz of gin. In addition, we each had one bottled beer and the bill with tax and tip was a sky high 145.00. But for me the worst part came at the end of the meal. I am a fat woman, I know that I'm fat, it's not a surprise. I'm not hugely fat but I am larger than most women. A second server came to collect the dishes and she said: oh, wow, you ate it all. Yes, 2 grown adults finished a bowl of rice, a small bowl of zuchini and a small dish of eggplant, imagine that. Even if we had ordered 10 dishes and finished them, it's not appropriate to comment on someone's appetite but in this case it wasn't even a lot of food. I felt humiliated and it ruined my evening.

Great delicious food and amazing service. They can also accommodate gluten free with care and knowledge. They also have a take out menu. Highly recommend

Delicious food which was presented nicely. Lovely staff who took turns holding our baby and they kept smiling at him! It’s always nerve wracking going to restaurants with a baby in case they start fussing, but they kept his spirits high which was really appreciated. We went at lunchtime and sat in the booth area so that there’s more space/privacy for our baby. I’ve walked passed at night and this place would be too busy/loud for our baby. A good new local spot as it’s fancier than the other local Indian restaurants - we need more upmarket places at the Harbourfront! It’s a bit pricier than others - $110 inc tax and tip for one starter, two mains, and free tap water - so sadly not somewhere we’d go frequently. We went for my husband’s birthday and thought the food/atmosphere is worth it for a special occasion. Highly recommend and would love to go back!
