   Service was great. Menu was limited and a little pricey. Food was just OK. Portions were a little small. If I had to grade it C+ Was not bad but was. It great either.

   Excellent food, excellent service, fun ambiance and personable chef! We had a wonderful time and the found the food to be outstanding and inventive! A NOLA favorite for sure...

   Hair in food, said they were serving champagne and provided cava, delayed seating over 1 hr. past reservation time, service was rude, food never came and we left.

   The food was just okay...nothing remarkable. Everything seemed to come with honey mustard, which was weird, even weirder was that there was nothing really special about the honey mustard - it was just bottled dressing on the oysters, on the crawfish beignets, etc. The steak was okay, but no real garish, so just looked kind of plain. The duck delight was also okay but could have come from any Chinese restaurant, nothing about it felt like it was coming from a New Orleans traditional restaurant. The wait staff are also the bartenders, so depending on the size of tables and drink orders you can be waiting a long time for any service.

   Dick and Jenny's has, for years, been a restaurant I always try to go to when I am in New Orleans. Not anymore. This restaurant has really gone downhill since I was here last year. They had 1 server for each half of the restaurant and 1 bartender for the entire restaurant. A staff of 3 with the chef and his wife doing all the cooking. It took over 30 minutes to even get a glass of wine. Food was coming out so slow, the chef finally brought out free appetizers to appease the angry diners.

   Reservation at 5:30. After two people asked how many people in the party, eventually a third person brought us to a table. Apologetic after waiting sometime we placed our order. Waiter came back and asked for it again. Then asked if they had sweet tea. Left and never came back. Got a cup of soup to the table and bread and over the next hour received many “I am sorry” but never came back with drinks. Or the appetizers. Or the dinner. There was plenty of wait staff. You could see in the kitchen and see staff in there working. The table next to us had been there at least a half hour before and hadn’t got any food but they got apology for a delay but no food. After almost two hours got up and left.

    We made a 5PM reservation-We came for x-mas dinner-there weren’t many diners(<1/2 full) it appeared that the entire restaurant had just emptied out of a massive crowd and the staff seemed in utter disarray! We waited 10-15 min for a table , but were then tolds”that the entrees would be a long wait- we put orders in by 6PM- then were given appetizers and drinks at apps 6:30PM - while dining we heard a fracas between a group of 5 diners and their waiter- they complained about waiting for over 2& 1/2 hours for their meal- then they were told that their food was actually ready- then they told the waiter they didn’t believe him- then he started to Everyone left the as scream”are you calling me an f’ing liar- then the party of 5 started to swear back- then they all tore out of the restaurant. Diners who stayed were silent. The remaining staff was very apologetic for their unhinged waiter! Everyone was embarrassed- We did finally get our entrees at 7:30PM - they were delicious but tough to”stomach” after so much hysteria MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL
