Bar was amazing.. great ambiance.
Wanted to love the food but it was definitely not italian by my standards.
It was American italian.. decent but not great
The manager was fantastic and you could tell he was very hand-on with training and guiding his new hostesses and wait staff. The restaurant is a nice addition to the area. I’m sure they will be a smooth running machine soon. The manicotti was delicious and I would definitely recommend. I’m looking forward to trying more from their menu.
Service is always excellent at DiCICCO'S, WE LOVE THE LIVE MUSIC ON FRIDAY EVENINGS! We also love how safe everyting is for your enjoyment.
Food was delicious! We had the chicken Parmesan, chicken Alfredo and the delicious garlic bread. I would suggest just adding a little more sauce on the chicken alfredo. We will return!
Food was delicious, service was great. It was our anniversary and we had a great time.
I liked the improvements since the Marie Callender days. it was a pleasant Valentines Day interlude after many at home dinners. Food was solid but not spectacular. It would have been nice to give something special to the ladies at Valentines but maybe next time.
Food was very good. Too bad we have to leave in the middle of our dinner because of Covid curfew.
If you like “Italian” food like the spaghetti factory this is the place. Everything is frozen and microwaved. The musician LELE Rose is amazing!!! The bar was lively snd the staff was great!!
My wife and really enjoyed our experience, it's definitely an authentic Italian restaurant to the T. The food was excellent and just the right portion size. Our waitress checked on us frequently, was very friendly and deserved the healthy tip we left. We'll be back for sure!!
Great place to hang out and listen to live jazz music.
This is a hidden gem in Escondido for Italian food. I loved the food quality and service. Very upbeat live music set up the perfect evening out.
Real Italian food was delicious and good size serving. Looking forward to going back and trying other dishes. Friendly people!
It was very good food with large portions.
Had seating indoors and outdoors.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Highly recommend
Excellent food and Excellent service.
I will be going back.
Nice addition to Escondido. Good selection on the menu, good wine list. We ate there on a Sunday; at Joe's Italian they have decided that people don't eat on Sunday (or Monday!).
It was our first time. The calamari appetizer was the best we have ever had anywhere by far! The food was great! We really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. It's tough to find any restaurant that doesn't play loud music! The service was excellent. We can't wait to go back! I'm getting hungry! Maybe tonight's the night!
Bread is fantastic my seafood pasta was delightful and a good portion. Cocktails were delicious.
Will come back very soon.
Food was great, service my Monica was amazing! Glad to see this place open!
Amazing on every level - I had the best Chicken Picatta I've ever eaten!
The food and service was great. The only thing I thought could be improved is the lighting. It is too bright in the restaurant and that, coupled with the acoustics made it feel very Denny’s-like but with very good food. If they could just dim the lights a little, the ambience would be so much better!
Great live music. Ample parking space. Traditional Italian food.
Very happy with the entire experience. We will definitely return and tell all of our friends about it!
Marinara sauce was bland, which I was surprised from an Italian restaurant.
My husband ordered the meatball sandwich & it was pathetic. Hardly any meat or sauce.
Appetizer of zucchini was over priced for what you got.
Service was great, but the biggest disappointment for our first visit, was where we were seated, especially since there weren’t many people at the restaurant.
I did mention it to the hostess near the end of our dinner. We were a party of 4 & had we arrived before our friends I would have requested a different table, especially because I had made reservations days ahead.
We will try it once more & we’ll order something different.
I sure hope our next experience is better, as we need more fine dining restaurants in Escondido!!
The bread is really good. They gave us free pizza because our other food was running behind.
Thoroughly enjoyed the live music!
It was an amazing experience at DiCicco’s. Wonderful food, great service, good ambiance. The live music was a bit loud but it was entertaining and enjoyable anyway. I had the chicken parmigiana and it was divine!!
Service was great. Food was delicious. Look forward to going back.
Delicious food, wonderful service, and awesome atmosphere!
