Diablo's Cantina - Luxor Las Vegas
I have had better Mexican food. we went there only because we were seeing a show there.
My wife and I arrived early but were seated fairly quickly. We both order drinks. My wife had a mojito, which she enjoyed. I had a strawberry margarita, which was so sweet, I couldn't drink it. We ordered an appetizer of cheese fondue. It was so thick and gooey, it was too difficult to eat. I had chicken enchiladas, which were dry and tasteless. My wife had shrimp tacos. The shrimp and taco toppings were good but the taco shell was dried out and fell apart. The service was terrible. We rarely saw our waiter. We asked for water three times, once from the waiter and twice from busppersons who walked by our table. I finally went up to the bar and got them myself. Will not be back.
Our server, Raphael, was pleasant and patient as we wanted to have a cocktail and appetizer before deciding on our entree.
The Flaming Guacamole with Carolina Reaper puree and an added extra of bacon gave had a nice kick at the end. The Chile Verde Pork tamales actually had pork in them and were not overpowered by masa. The Taquitos were freshly made and the chorizo bean purée was a pleasant surprise!
Food was ok and I realize that the food markup is high in the casino but the price compared to quality was not that great. Service was subpar, had to stop waiter to ask for refills and drink reorders.
Slow service, good food, the tables in the back overlooking the hotel lobby are choice people watching spots.
Very very slow service took 15 minutes after he said down just to get a glass of water the waiter took forever to take our order for drinks and then dinner very slow poor poor service
Not the restaurants fault at all but pieces of gravel or ceiling texture fell into food from somewhere high up on the rooms level of the luxor
Nice place for a quick bite, drinks and conversations
The service was unacceptable. When the waitress brought our drinks she placed ours on the table and then accidentally knocked over a cocktail that was on her tray for another table. It landed on the table in front of our 9-year old granddaughter and spilled all over the front of her dressy dress she wearing to the show after dinner. As I’m trying to blot the liquid out of her dress, the waitress acts surprised that it spilled over the table into her lap. She may have said sorry but that was it. She never offered to do anything about it or begin to show any remorse over it. I had to ask for new napkins as our linen napkins were soaked from cleaning up the spilll, and she asked if we wanted paper napkins. When my husband asked for another drink, 10 minutes later he had to ask if he was ever going to get it. When she brought the check to the table she never again mentioned the accident but wrote a personal thank you by the tip section of the bill. Needless to say, she did not get a tip.
It was fine. Food was quite good. A completely different vibe from the Diablo’s @ the old Monte Carlo, though. That one was lively and fun. This one you could bring your grandmother to.
They canceled my reservation as I was 12 minutes late and they said they cancel after 10 minutes. They didn’t mention any of that when making the reservation. So had to wait 25 minutes for a table when there were plenty of tables empty to seat us. Ordered drinks and didn’t get them until after we got our dinner. Then one of the dinners they got wrong and we had to send it back. Not a great first time experience. I had out of town company with me and chose this restaurant as we were going to be there to see the Blue Man show. Our dining experience was not the best. Food was good but nothing spectacular
Awesome experience. Great food.
It was disappointing that it wasn’t in the old location. This location however, was nicely updated. After being seated, it was 12 to 15 minutes before we were asked for drinks. My daughter asked for the Taquitos appetizer when we ordered dinner. It was forgotten, and got delivered after the dinners. We waited almost 40 minutes for our meals to come out. We had to ask for more chips and water. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. I had the Carnitas tacos, and the meat was very dry and bland, and not what I expected. We saw more of the other servers than we did of our waitress.
Server was not very attentive! We waited for items requested, waited for bill. He seem to has a lot of extra things happening. We felt forgot as a guest.
Different location but still great food and service.
Good food and drinks.
Gutes Essen in der großen Pyramide des Hotel Luxor! Uns hat es gut gefallen!
Service and food were fantastic. Price of the food and beverages could be better.
Atmosphere was ok but definitely loud, food was bland and server was unattentive.
Upbeat type of place--fun, good music but not easy to hold a conversation due to the volume of the music.
Slow service but we were in no hurry. Might have been short staffed Monday evening
We were dining before a show later that night. The worst thing was we got our water after the chips and salsa and our drinks after our entrees were delivered.
Had a reservation, recommended. Got in 10 minutes after. No problem. Greeted by server took drink order and we had enough time to decide what to order. Both had the combination fajitas. Shrimp, chicken and beef. All were tasty. Chips and both salsa were good also. Attentive waitstaff and we were not rushed.
Came for Saturday lunch with the hubby. He had taco combo and I had the enchiladas combo and we were both very happy! I had the Sangria and it was really good! Chips and salsa at the beginning of the meal were perfect. Open restaurant allowed people watching and music reminded me of the fun clubs in Cabo!
Hostess, waiters, etc., friendly, helpful and professional. Noise level was alittle high but not awful. Nice menu and the food was good.
Service was slow.
Very slow service, mediocre food, loud when only half full, overpriced and underwhelming.
Food was good. Took a very long time to get service.
Food was mediocre. Service was slow. The atmosphere was loud. Too expensive for the quality of the food and experience.
Decent overall, a bit too noisy for a business meal. Ok for a dinner with coworkers
NYE dinner before concert and NYE celebration
Great service! Potion sizes are tiny. The guacamole options felt very similar in taste.
Wow, super expensive for average food. I know it’s Vegas but come on!
That was a good choice after the Luxor show. Although I had a reservation, this would not probably be necessary for that hour of the day. The service was very efficient and the food and margueritas were delicious. I would certainly come back.
Service Excellent. Food is very good. Reasonable in price i have been here several times for these very reasons.
I live their vegetarian Enchiladas and rice ( no lard). Salsa was amazing. Also they were ready to make vegan tacos and Enchilada
We have eaten at T&T around 20 times but our last trip was the worst. Some of the recipes seemed to have changed & the meals were extremely heavy on the onions. We were the first table to be seated for brunch & service was extremely slow. We had empty drink glasses, only brought water at the end of the meal and couldn't find our waitress for a while. We also really miss the mariachi band.
We used a Groupon for the Chonga margaritas. They were huge and tasted really good. We ordered tacos and combo’s from the menu which came out fast and tasted authentic. Free chips and salsa was a plus. Juan our server was nice and always checked on us!
Meal was good drinks were good services great but little to noisy from other customers as seating is little close together
