Delicious food, value for money and exquisite service. We were initially seated downstairs which was extremely noisy due to two noisy groups of people all in a small space, however, we requested to be seated upstairs and were moved 10-15 mins later as a table cleared upstairs. Staff are very friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and be back myself!
Delicious fusion cuisine coupled with delightful, attentive service, and all at a great price. I will definitely be back.
Best Indian Food we've had in London! We love this place.
Wedding anniversary dinner with family. The food is proper Delhi style for a “Delhiite’s” liking! Everything we have tried so far was delicious. Overall an excellent experience.
Starters are great, the rest of average
Great meal, truly authentic. Our waitress was lovely, chatty, knowledgeable.
Great food and great service. Eyes were bigger than our mouths so we took a lot of it home afterwards!
The food is truly delicious however the management is very poor and the size of the restaurant space does not comfortably seat the amount of guests they allow to make reservations at one time. Their Basement seating is very squished, depressing, and dingy especially if you are seated up against the wall or touching the iron grating dividing the eating area with the kitchen entrance. BEWARE, even if you request to be seated upstairs and are personally told you will be, don't expect that to happen once you arrive! If you're ok with the basement accommodations then the food is worth the visit.
Another great visit to Dhaba@49. it just seems to get busier each time we visit.
The lamb chop appetiser was sublime. The dahi chat was great. The alcoholic mango lassi was great too. However I wasn’t a fan of the butter chicken - the chicken tasted really weird, had a strange texture and ruined the perfect experience for me. However the restaurant decor/ambience is really nice, reasonable prices, good service and easy to get a reservation. If they can cook the chicken better or use quality chicken thighs, that would be great.
It was a amazing meal from start to finish from food to service my wife and I went out for our anniversary we where so happy with the food and service when mentioned to the manager how well the waitress where and how attractive and for our anniversary he presented us with a bottle of Prosecco which we did not expect
Great tastes.. great ambience. I will definitely come here again
no salty lassi and we weren't sure we liked the masala lassi which we were offered instead. good starters lots f interesting things on menu. main courses a bit more traditional. overall a nice place to eat.
Good food at reasonable price with super attentive service.
Service from Ms Shah was commendable.
Staff ready to please always and food was served really hot.
Excellent food and service. Delicious authentic Indian food, well prepared and presented. Prompt service, very caring customer care
Sehr leckeres Essen, hatten Butter Chicken. Hhmmm. Und Lamb Shank, sehr zart, Fleisch ist vom Knochen Gefallen, gerne wieder
It was an amazing place with delicious Indian food with a very reasonable price. Would totally recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala with Pilau rice and garlic naan and a rose lassi to drink.
Such delicious Indian food!!! Great atmosphere upstairs on ground floor. We will be back!
Food was excellent and service was prompt and very nice. We were seated downstairs which felt like a basement room-- no windows and hot, which was a bit unpleasant, but the entrance level looked like it would be a nice experience and was much cooler temperature-wise.
Nice restaurant with kind service and excellent food
Best Indian in London!
Best Indian food in London!
Nice restaurant, would go back
We visited for Father’s Day lunch with two other families; so a large group. We had to move the time last minute and they accommodate this.
The food was lovely. We like spice so it was definitely up our street! The waiter recommended some mild dishes for the kids which were a hit (empty plates).
My only issue was the portions which I think were smaller than expected.
I must also point out that their cocktails are great too. Their twist on mohito and Bellini were delish.
All in all a good experience.
Disappointed that we came for a birthday celebration lunch and the bar man was not available or in at work to make up the drinks :((
Also being Saturday, the ladies washroom could have been cleaned & bin emptied.
Very tasty and authentic Indian food. Fish moilee is unforgettably good!
Dessert was not value for money, ordered gulab jamun for 3.75 and they only gave one!
Mains were not good but starters were nice
Great out of the way restaurant. Really tasty food and exceptional staff who were extremely attentive and welcoming.
Très bon restaurant indien, néanmoins attention au piment! Vous pouvez demander à ce que les plats soient peu épicés
Waiters provided a great personal service, food was great and authentic, decor great.
Food was not spicy enough! Not an authentic Indian menu, but delicious nonetheless. Very nice ambiance.
Amazing food, lovely location, caters for all
Fabulous evening. Restaurant gets better every visit...
Went for my fathers birthday lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Great service , food and decor!
Lovely North Indian food served in a stylish setting.
Mixed grill isn't an authentic sizzler warm and chicken was rubbery overcooked. Mains were so so lamb curry was dry have haduch better. Overall disappointed
Best Indian good I have tasted for a while!
Lovely Place and service. Too much food and too spicy even if we waened the waiter
Very delicious food.
Great food, great staff. Both my daughters loved it!
