Let me begin by saying we were regular customers at the Rio Grande I 40 location, one of our favorite places to go for just a regular dinner night, but especially special occasions for our family. We recently moved to Rio Rancho and decided to give the new location to try since it’s much closer. We were excited to try it out. Our reservation was for 630 and we got seated pretty quickly. However, when we got seated, it took at least 5+ minutes for somebody to come get our drink order. Then it took a bit of time to actually get the drinks. We then proceeded to order one appetizer to be told That they did not have it, so we selected a second appetizer to them be told that they were out of that one as well! When looking at the actual entrées, we were a little disappointed, or I should say a lot disappointed that two of our favorite dishes that we order often are not offered at this location. The Mongolian beef, which is my husband‘s favorite and the steak frites, which was one of mine, as well as my daughter‘s favorites. in all it took them an 1 hour to actually get our entrées out. The restaurant itself was much nicer than the one on Rio Grande, both patios are beautiful, there’s one in the front with the waterfall, and the one on the back with the view of the Sandias, this location is also not as loud as the Rio Grande, that’s really one of the only complaints I have about that location is how noisy it is pretty much at all times. I really was hoping for a much better experience at the new location of one of our favorite restaurants! Looks like we might be making a bit of a longer drive to go back to Rio grande for our cravings!

We had a beautiful Father's Day dinner for my son! Lescombes never disappoints! The food, and I mean everything I've ever eaten here, is divine! That superb flavor and texture to enjoy along with my favorite wines are what keeps me returning! The atmosphere is so relaxed, with a calm, pleasing ambiance! And the service is excellent, friendly, personable and professional, no matter how busy they are! We had a wonderful time, with a most excellent meal (and dessert!)! Of course, we will be returning time and again! If you've never given this restaurant a try, please do! It will not disappoint! Though I do recommend reservations. I'm not the only one who loves this place.

We just found this terrific resturant. We have been there twice in the last 5 weeks. Food is outstanding. They have gluten free options (wish they had more). The bacon wrapped shrimp (gluten free) appetizer is outstanding. The calamari (not gluten free) appetizer is cooked just right! Service is top notch. Deserts are limited with three options, all good. I almost forgot the wine. It is excellent. The only downside is they serve Pepsi products. Wish they would change to Coca Cola.

Started with a free taste of the monthly wine. Ordered the Baked Brie for the table. Hubby had Lasagna with side salad and glass of Merlot. I enjoyed the steak salad with a custom flight of wine. Waitress suggested choices for my flight. No room for dessert—will save for another visit.

We have dined there many times and are always good. This day they seated us 15 minutes late from our 6:30 reservation. Took 10 minutes for our waiter to come, then after placing drink order it took 1/2 hour to get our drinks and then an hour to get our food. The food was cold and dried on top from sitting too long. Manager did not handle it well but brought new food. Extremely disappointed!
