Maître D was friendly and warmly asked, if we wanted to be inside or out. Waitress seemed a bit in a rush (if a little rude) to take drinks order, then food and didn’t provide the best service, kept saying cheers even for food. Maybe she was having a bad day. We didn’t let that stop us having a nice evening. Setting was lovely, food was ok.

I've never eaten here before but to be honest I was quite underwhelmed. The staff were friendly enough but they did look like they didn't really want to be there. Slightly rushed, it felt under staffed for the amount of people to me. The Piri Piri Chicken skewers were tough and when I cut through the meat, it looked like they had been pre cooked days prior to being served if honest, in addition they were not very hot so probably sat on the pass for some time. My steak was OK, not really medium cooked as requested, more well done but I'm not too bothered by that. For the money, I could have gone to a Nando, Wagamama, HAZ or a different chain and experienced better food for the price. I won't be back which is a shame as I rarely take the time to write a review, that said all feedback helps up the game when required. Best. Jez Clark.

Friendly welcome and food was good. Puddings a bit “heavy” but passable. Service let this restaurant down. It was not busy but waiting staff spent a lot of time chatting st the bar with backs to clients so we had to walk up to ask for our orders to be taken. Tablet girl was using had badly cracked screen which breeds germs and did nothing for status of restaurant

The Devenonshire Terrace is a lovely restaurant with a varied menu catering for all tastes. The restaurant has a very pleasant ambience with very attentive serving staff. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend to all.

Great location, attentive staff. The steak I had was not the best, the location is so good, deserves a more extravagant menu.

Great venue for parties, or group celebrations. A hidden gem with a great atmosphere. Menu varied. Food delicious. Steak was cooked to perfection however the chips were slightly undercooked. The music was a little too loud for us and made it difficult to have a conversation but we were seated close to a speaker.
