Located at the corner of Market Street & Clarence Street in the heart of Sydney CBD, Devine is Sydney's oldest wine bar/restaurant. It’s just a short stroll from the QVB, State Theatre, and Town Hall.

The Spot for Great Food and Wine
Devine offers a selection of cicchetti, Italian-inspired à la carte dishes, and an excellent wine-by-the-glass list. Known for its popular lunches and after-work eats, it’s the go to place to relax. Devine is always terrific. Great friendly staff, good advice on wine and food. Steak was excellent - tender and rich flavours. Loved the polenta chips and the spicy sauce with them was perfect - strong but not overpowering. Shredded cabbage also a treat and good contrast to the rest. 10:/10

Brilliant food, beautiful wine and great atmosphere. Devine Food & Wine is a fabulous place for a lovely meal of high quality food, served with care and professionalism, and complemented with beautiful wine. We had a family event there and everyone loved the options on the set menu. The service of the team was outstanding. We wanted for nothing, they were attentive without being intrusive and they knew the menu well. The sommelier gave some fabulous ideas for wine for us to try. We just gave him our preferred style and let him choose. I have no idea what the wine was that I had, but it was some of the best I've tasted in years. You will not be disappointed in the experience at this restaurant.

The set-up and décor is sympathetic to the Italian style. The staff were mostly attentive, the quality of the food was exceptional, the wine selection substantial, and the atmosphere on the night was high energy. My only complaints are about the crammed seating, and how the space amplifies the noise of collective conversations - for someone whose hearing is deteriorating, it made for a very challenging time hearing my own voice and conversation.

A beautiful restaurant, excellent service, and fantastic food. The olive martini and the pâté were the stand outs for me. Will definitely be back

Absolutely the very best dinner we had the last to weeks since we arrived in Australia. We can highly recommend it. The food delicious, the service excellent, the selection of wines is huge 👍🏼 If we lived here this restaurant would be our favourite place to have dinner 😍
