   We were hoping for better the second time around but were sorely disappointed. Beautiful place, good drinks, adequate service but the food was way below average, especially for the price. Poutine appetizer and deviled eggs were tasty but it was downhill from there. $50 dry aged steak ordered rare was medium well and tasteless, $46 lamb chops overcooked very small portion, $38 scallops - four small ones, tender but swimming in some concoction served in a weird clam shell presentation. To be a top restaurant you have to do better than just serving small portions and overpricing the food. Stick to drinks and apps - skip the rest.

   Overall, there was little to complain about. The view was wonderful, the service was great, the food was exemplary. This is one of our favorite places in Grand Junction! However, the air conditioning was uncomfortably cold, as it has been several times in the past. We need to remember this and bring jackets. Also, the menu offered Bananas Foster as a desert. This is a favorite, so we asked for it, only to be told the kitchen was out of bananas! Devil's Kitchen is just a few blocks from several grocery stores, so they should have noticed this at the start of the shift and made a grocery store run. The desert we settled on was nice enough, but it wasn't Bananas Foster!

   Scenery is always wonderful. Food was mediocre this time. Not impressed. For the price, I doubt we will be back again. Steak was under done and sides were bland. Pretty good service. Had reservations and requested a table by the window- which we didn’t get. Bummer.

    We enjoyed our brunch very much! The service was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious!!!!! We will definitely be back.
