   All of the guests in our party had been to this restaurant before and enjoyed it very much. This time however, things fell short. The service was very spotty and hard to find our waiter. Many little things...such as having to hunt down someone to bring a spoon for the soup...distracted from the experience. As it relates to the food...well....the steaks are good and that is the highlight. On the other hand, the gumbo was awful....an insipid mixture of tomato puree and far, far too much to hot sauce made it inedible.....the waiter didn't care. Two guests ordered the scallops. There are three of them per plate....only three....so don't order this dish if you are hungry; and again so covered in a spicy flavoring that they could have been marshmallows instead of scallops. Overall...I don't know what happened, this place used to be good but now, I suggest looking elsewhere.

   I would have given a higher score but had trouble paying after the meal. My corporate card didn't work. Called to confirm it was indeed active. Personal card did not work. It was only after another person's credit didn't work that it was confirmed their system was not working. It was also revealed, later of course, that this credit card machine issue had happened before. So after probably 15 minutes, maybe more, I was informed there was a 20% tip because my party had six people. There was absolutely no apology to me or to my table of guests following the credit card snafu. The food was fine. The decor is dated. And obviously the technology is, shall we say, not reliable.

   I love going there. Two weeks in a row. I had the trout almondine and pomme frittes and warm bread and a meatball. I also had my favorite wine Santamargarita and crème brûlée for desert. Everything was fabulous. If I could I would come to your restaurant every week.

   Great service great food. I’ll wait it was nice and steak was cooked. Perfect. That was our third time to the restaurant and every time it’s been a great experience.

    Food was good : I had the scallops and my husband had the filet medium . I wish it was more for the price. The Mac and cheese has roast beef in it . The brussel sprouts were good
