Omg , the absolute best for my 1st time there & I WILL be back! 🔥😋The service was amazing! Did I mention AMAZING? Super cute atmosphere & very romantic/special occasion friendly ‼️The Staff made us feel sooo welcomed🥰‼️Hospitality so very much appreciated 💚food was A-1 😩when the waiter picked my food up to pack to go, the plate was still hot from it being served in the first place. We celebrated two birthdays and did not get the table of our usual waitress, but she made sure to come and say hello to us. As always the food was excellent so was the service and we will definitely be back

I mean overall service was good but, not so much the food…. Mushroom were burnt steak no flavor mash potatoes way too much garlic macaroni very dry. Desert was okay wayy too many apples we just didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings and it was our anniversary so we made the best out of it. Lobster was okay wasn’t bad at all drink were really good! But I wouldn’t go back because of the food.

I love Desi Vega’s I usually visit the one in New Orleans but we are actually closer to Covington. We live in Slidell. The ambience in this one and the decor is outstanding! The filet mignon here compared to my previous favorite restaurant over the last 15 to 20 years is by far the best. Crabcake was delicious! Brussels sprouts are always my favorite. The only negative experience was the dirty silverware it literally had food noticeable even in the dark. I will not hold that Against the restaurant all restaurants have their hiccups. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone

Fabulous meal!! Everything was delicious. We had the onion soup, filets, au gratin, potatoes, creamed, spinach, crème brûlée and cocktails. Excellent from start to finish. We sat at the bar and had so much fun with our bartender/waiter and the manager/owner Shane. Wonderful they also treat you to meatballs and garlic bread as a pre-appetizer we will be back.

Ordered some cocktails to start the night that took about 20 minutes to come to us. Nothing fancy just a lemon drop martini and an old fashioned. After those came out we decided to get a set ahead and got a bottle of wine to start breathing and got our food ordered. Apps came pretty quickly and so did the food it self. My husband and I both got a filet mignon medium rare, but sadly both came closer to medium/medium well. Coming to a nicer restaurant and spending $350+ I expected better dining experience. Food quality was there but execution was not. Don’t think we will be dining here again. Would rather spend the same about at Pats 527 or even Keith Young’s. Comments to management if they even read these: focus on making sure food is coming out properly. It’s not okay to drop $50+ on a steak and it be cooked improperly. Same thing comes to cocktails. I would have not ordered cocktails if I knew they would show up so late and would not have time to enjoy

The reservation process was very easy and they called ahead of time to confirm. I annotated in my reservation it was our anniversary and the wait staff was schooled when we got there. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, the wait staff was very friendly and attentive and the owner was making his rounds. One very small hiccup with one of the appetizers but it was quickly rectified. Our reservations were for 5 PM which is the time that they open. I would have loved to sit at the bar and have a drink instead of waiting in my car, but it would require them perhaps to open the bar at 4:30 instead of five. We would very easily come to this restaurant again, it was a very nice evening

Always a delight to dine with Desi Vega. We are seated at a great table and always feel welcomed upon arrival. We are well attended by all of the staff and there is attention to every detail. We would particularly like to thank Stephanie and Brittany for taking such good care of us all evening. The meal was as expected - exceptional. We generally opt for the Porterhouse but were intrigued by the special fish of the day - pompano. Perfect preparation and pairing with the sides. We never want for anything when we dine with Desi Vega and are grateful to have this excellent restaurant on the Northshore.

Had a terrific meal at Desi Vega’s! We ordered the Porterhouse steak for two for the first time and weren’t sure what to expect in terms of flavor and tenderness. Well, this amazing 32 ounce steak was delivered to our table and was so tender and cooked to perfection! Thanks to Stephanie our waitress for recommending it! We will be back for another one soon!

If you want outstanding customer service and delicious food then this is the place to go. Everything was decadent and delicious from the starter “meatball and garlic bread” to the who dat shrimp appetizer, to the ribeye and macaroni and potato sides! Our server was Paxton and Trevor(I think this was his name) outstanding job guys!
