My Girlfriend had the NY strip steak and was beyond impressed, both with portion size as well as quality. Meat was cooked perfectly, like really perfectly.

I have never had such shockingly poor service at a restaurant - whether at this price range, or any other. The sad thing is: the food was good. Nonetheless, I will never return, and will convince everyone I know not to go there.
First, the waitress (who was lovely) had such strongly scented lotion or soap on her hands, the taste of dry red wine I had requested smelled sweetly of lilies and roses. I was so astonished when I tasted the wine, I smelled the glass, and discovered the scent was on the glass. I mentioned it, asked if she was wearing lotion, etc.... At $20 bucks a glass, the staff should be schooled in this issues.
Second, the steak was presented, and I was asked to cut it down the middle to see if it was cooked properly. I did, and it looked perfect. I began to eat it and realized there was a cold spot in every piece. Clearly, it had been pre-cooked and then put under heatlamps. I complained, and the waitress apologized, and brought over the manager. I told him a precooked steak with a cold bottom was unacceptable - at $46.00, no less. The manager apologized, whisked my plate away and said he would take care of it. Five minutes later, he returned with the same steak - looking sort of brown - saying, with exuberance, "There you go. This should be perfect." I looked at him and said, "You just put it back under the lamps?" He said, "We up-temped it. Isn't that what you wanted?"
Finally, I got my new steak, perfectly cooked. And it was comped. But the experience was horrendous.

Food is just mediocre. There is nothing exceptional about the food at all. Service was adequate as there were not many folks in the restaurant the night were there. Was that because of the food Or the timing?
Guacamole was sparse chips were cheap and flavorless and plentiful. Too many for the amount of The guacamole.
Children’s chicken fingers were big bulky tenders,was too cumbersome for most kids, to thick.
The French fries were good.
Not a good food:price: quality: ratio at all.
You guys are opened a while..time to get your act together.

Have eaten at Del Frisco’s for lunch previously and enjoyed the food. Chose it again to entertain my team for successfully completing a very long and tedious project. I called to request a bottle of Prosecco be waiting for us at our table when we arrived. The host asked what the occasion was of which I explained. We arrived on time for our reservation and was greeted by the host very pleasantly and led to our table, where the Prosecco was on ice! Very pleased at the setting! Immediately greeted by our server Courtney who poured our glasses and congratulated us on a job well done! We were then greeted by the Manager who also congratulated us. Very nice warm welcome! Food was ordered and Courtney allowed us to converse and take our time to order. No rushing. We received our meals timely and all were delicious, from kale salad with salmon, to shaved steak sandwich, to fillet burger on brioche. Mmmm! Courtney then asked if we would like dessert, but since we were time crunched, we didn’t order anything. She then came back with a huge piece of lemon chiffon cake and said it was on the House, along with a card that was decorated and signed personally by all staff on shift, thanking us for choosing Del Frisco’s for our celebration lunch! What a wonderful show of gratitude from the staff. The service was excellent and I would have tipped well anyway. But this was beyond service expected and made us all feel special! My hat’s off to Courtney, her Manager and all the staff at Del Frisco’s for a memorable lunch experience! Will definitely return and will recommend to all!

Overall I had a great experience however I was disappointed by the scallop entree. For the price, I expected large sea scallops to over power the dish however I ended up with a dish filled with polenta and small scallops.

Good food. Steak cooked perfectly and huge - took home a doggie bag. Extremely attentive service. Really nice bottle of cabernet on special. Expected more of a crowd for downtown Stamford at 7:00 on a Saturday night. First time at del frisco's. Liked the ambience and overall experience. Will go back.

Very much enjoyed our dinner - the appetizers were probably the best part, with beautifully lumpy crab cakes that were actually, refreshingly about large chunks of tender, giving seafood, and the artichoke beignets where the delicate flavour of the vegetable was still able to shine through, and where the morsels were beautifully crispy yet light, perfectly fried.
Steaks are great, as were the veggies - we tried frites, broccolini (these being the show stopper side), and asparagus. Little glithches are that my steak was swapped with my sister's, and that we ordered (and were charger for) two asparagus but received one. Still, these did not feel like major gripes considering the relaxed nature of the evening, and the attentive service.
Desserts are huge so worth sharing between two or three people - a very tasty night out!

Ladies night out. Server could not have been nicer. Service and food were excellent. They even put a candle on a complimentary dessert after overhearing us wish my friend happy birthday. Will definitely go back soon.

Great food and service and the perfect place for my holiday luncheon with work colleagues to gather (since we are all remote). Had an awesome time.
