Our 32nd anniversary and staff treated us special. Dessert and Prosecco and card. Very nice touch!
Great Service.. great food, and an overall good time.
What a lovely experience! My favorite restaurant! They changed my favorite dish the crab cake Benedict to a McMuffin base and it was amazing!!
Our server was exceptional! Made my occasion even more special!
Everything was great! The Food was incredible and service couldn’t have been better!
I celebrated my birthday and was very very pleased with the service, food and management and valet service. I highly recommend you make reservations and enjoy!
Food and service were great. The hostess was awesome. We ordered a bunch of appetizers, and they ran out of the goat cheese option, so the hostess surprised us with a few other sides 'on-the-house!' Wish I had her name...classy move! When in Dallas, I'd certainly visit again.
Service was superb and ambiance was warm and friendly.
My wife and I went here for Thanksgiving dinner, we enjoyed the food and the staff made the night great!
We dined there on Thanksgiving night and were not disappointed! The staff was happy to have you,
even on a Holiday...the menu allowed for Turkey...or not! It was the best of both worlds...and our
server was fantastic...and not to mention the GM came to our table to see how our meal was - and
throughout the night walked the floor and picked up plates and supported his staff!!
We went to Del Frisco's for Thanksgiving, and it was one of the best Thanksgiving meals ever. I had pork loin (with a delicate sauce based on mustard and, I think, honey), Mashed potatoes (same sauce), sausage dressing (sage), and buttered green beans (there was some subtle flavor but I couldn't figure it out). My wife had turkey (perfectly cooked and moist, with a more traditional brown gravy), mashed potatoes (same gravy), and sweet potato casserole (topped with brown sugar). Everything was so good that it's hard to recommend any one item over the others. It's almost worth flying out from Los Angeles just for this dinner! I recommend the valet parking, especially if you're handicapped; the only elevators are inside buildings that were closed when we were there.
Perfect place for a no hassle Thanksgiving meal! For those that didn’t want turkey, they had a choice of seafood or steak. Great service, cocktails, and wine. Will be back!
We went for Thanksgiving lunch. Food was good - not great, service was fine. Each of the entrees came with a chef selected side and an additional customer selected side. Would have preferred a salad instead of one of the sides. Location was very convenient for our group and parking was free.
Great cheesesteak egg rolls.
A little disappointed by Del Frisco Grill. It was hit and miss. The cheesesteak egg rolls were awesome. The steak was also good. The wild mushroom Gnocchi was pretty terrible. Very gamey tasting. The peanut butter chocolate cake was one of the worst desserts I have had at a restaurant. It was not edible and had to be sent back. The molten lava cake was a little disappointing as it had chocolate sauce poured on top and no extra layer of chocolate in the cake. The wait staff and management were nice and took care of their shortcomings, so I do have to give them kudos for that. It is just unfortunate there had to be shortcomings in the first place.
Chose Del Frisco Grill Uptown to celebrate a friend's birthday... everything else was perfect! The food was delicious, service was great and the atmosphere was inviting. I will be back of course!
Both steaks extremely under cooked, not seasoned. Had a note on reservation to bring out cake for my fiancé’s birthday. Never came. Plano location is way better. Very disappointed.
The food and service were both fabulous! The peanut butter chocolate dessert was to die for. Absolutely recommend.
Brunch, not too crowded and ready good menu options. We also tried the crack coffee and the eggs in purgatory which were amazing. The healthy food options were appreciated as well as the heavy food options. Lol.
We had a very poor experience last night at Del Frisco's Grille from start to end. We were promptly seated but then waited about 10 minutes before a waiter noticed we had not been helped. Once we had the waiter, we ordered an appetizer and both of us selected their current 3-course prix fix menu with wine pairings. From there, I was served Rose that was not cold and our appetizer went completely missing until I mentioned it to the waiter after our soups had been cleared. When we finally got the appetizer (cheesesteak eggrolls) they were also lukewarm. We hadn't even finished the app before the main course appeared (awful coordination on meals all night) - my girlfriend got the pork chop (nicely cooked, no issues) while I got the filet duo (8oz steak cut into two portions, one prepared Oscar and the other with butter). I ordered medium for both, one came perfect and the other well done. I mentioned it and they took it away to re-prepare. Fast-forward 15 minutes, steaks return and one is rare, the other medium-rare. For a brand that claims to be steak-centric, this was really bad. The manager quickly showed up and apologized and said she would comp my meal and asked if I wanted something else which I got gnocchi (didn't want any food from the grill at that point) which was solid. The final nail in the coffin was when the waiter poured our dessert port into red wine glasses, seriously? I was not the only person complaining about the food last night as my girlfriend and I saw multiple steaks being returned to kitchen. With so many "Grille" options in Dallas, this one was certainly fallen to the bottom of my list and I will not be returning.
The fall menu was delicious. Our waitress was good except she kept messing up our orders, and ended up giving our to-go orders backwards which wasn’t ideal when we got home with the wrong meals. Other than that, good food and nice atmosphere.
Chris, the manager, did everything possible to make sure that our anniversary was special. Management should be proud of this manager. The food was delicious and our server, Reid, was very conscientious. We enjoyed the salmon and the fried fish. For dessert, we had the Nutella Bread Pudding and it was outstanding. All of their food is responsibly priced. Great bar and the ambiance is casual yet classy.
My wife and I had a great time on our well overdue Date Night. Our waiter, Andreas, was awesome with a great personality. College Football was on the flatscreens but the noise level of the restaurant was not loud. The food was awesome as we ate everything. The Mac and Cheese is a must have!!
The food was not good at all. Steak was a piece of fat. Returned it and asked how they could possibly serve this type of meat at a steak restaurant. The answer was “I don’t know but we will not charge you”. I do not recommend this particular location.
Steak was charred and burned, broccoli was dry & over cooked. Service was VERY SLOW and there weren’t but 3 other tables. Food had to be recooked and everyone was done eating by the time my steak came out for my birthday and there were no fresh sides brought out when my steak was recooked. Bad experience at this location for sure. Also no one told us about the parking voucher for the garage so we had to walk back inside to ask.
It was a beautiful day to enjoy brunch on the patio. The coffee cocktail is AMAZING!
Beautiful brunch spot. Good food but not spectacular. The teenagers loved the pancake and waffle plates. My ahi tuna salad was fine but uninspired and in need of seasoning. His ribs were unimpressive, but not sure why he would’ve expected much. Nice location and good wine list. The cinnamon roll looked fabulous as it walked by several times!
Butter for my waffle was frozen and not spreadable. Every thing else was fine
Great place. Excellent food, excellent service. Overall, great experience!
The food was good except for all the fat I had on my 16oz New York Strip. They made me a new steak to go so I was pleased with it.
We had a wonderful time for brunch celebrating daughter's birthday. I would highly recommend for special occasions.
Great food, as always. Service was excellent, even during a lunch rush.
Everything was wonderful!!! The food was amazing and we had the best waiter in town. My first time to eat at Del Frisco and the experience was amazing I will definitely be back!!!
Far more casual than DF Plano. DF Uptown wear black t-shirts, not polished or poised.
Very good food and service. Wine was amazing. This was my second time visiting and both times were fantastic
Our waiter was awesome! Zachary was very attentive and polite, food was delicious as always! The Fall Special was delightful and had many options for anyone tasting a dish out of the norm. The wine selection Del Frisco’s has is amazing, had a bottle of the Prisoner which is one of my favorite blends. My daughter loves the fun appetizers however her favorite is the cheesesteak egg rolls. Steaks were grilled perfectly and everyone has to try the lobster Mac and Cheese, we have tasted many by far the best!! Again I must recommend Zachary as your waiter he’s awesome and will make you feel at home!
I like Del Frisco's but this was a total let down from beginning to end, the service completely ruined the night.
I got the fall menu + wine pairing and the waitress had no idea what was going on. I had to explain her two or three time what does wine pairing mean and they managed to fail to bring me the right wine with each dish or to bring the wine WITH the dish.
Probably one of the best Caesar Salads I've ever had and the smoked wings were DELICIOUS and full of flavor! Our waiter Walter was a sweetheart, took great care of us and we had a great friends dinner!
Awesome selection. Great wait staff. Elegant choices. Great food
We went for brunch on Sunday and the food was awesome! Drinks were great! Waitress was very attentive. Hostess was rude but other than that, the whole experience was perfect. Will still be back for more chicken and waffles and steak egg rolls!
