Thanksgiving food was awesome!
We had the traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. It was good, but not excellent. The portions of mashed potatoes and gravy were a little too small for the amount of meat, which was not a very large portion either. I was still hungry when I left. I expected more for the price. The service and ambiance were great and it was a little loud but not bad. This was our first time at Del Frisco's and it was a holiday. We will try it again after the holiday.
Always a family favorite! The VIP is the best drink! My husband said his new york steak was the best ever! Everything from apps to desert (coconut cream pie) was delicious!
Very disappointed at the whole experience. The service was horrible. We infrequently saw our server, drinks took forever (as did the second round), and the food was poor at best. The chicken was dry, the scallops were fishy, and the filet was overcooked. This is the second poor experience I have had and will not be coming back. Also, for the prices of a high end steakhouse, the quality and service does not justify the price. Very disappointed.
There is a difference between Del Frisco and Del Frisco Grille. A significant difference. That’s all.
Our waitress disappeared after put the main courses on the table . No one in the restaurant seemed know where about of our waitress. The manager even said our sever is a waiter. It is clear that they do not care about their employees and customers.
Food is mediocre. Seared scallops tasted very fishy.
Worth prime rrib ever i
Valerie is a wonderful server! She was sensitive that we were catching up as a family so left us to visit and take our time. The food is delicious and well plated. The wild mushroom side dish is very tasty and now my favorite side. The hostess was very accommodating and has a sweet smile.
Felt really rushed and unimportant. Steak came out over cooked and they did replace. Birthday wasn’t recognized from anyone. Dry disappointed
Friendly service. Management was friendly as well. Manager ensured that we were all taken care off and he was hands on.
Celebrating birthday service was very good. Disappointed with my meal. Seak was dry. Salmon was OK. Cocktails very good.
Good food good atmosphere great place to eat
I was disappointed as I have eaten here several times and never had this experience. The food was off. That’s all I have to say.
Parking can be a problem on a Friday night so valet on the first floor of the nearby parking structure for a carefree night! The food and the ambiance was great. I purchased the steak salad and was not disappointed.
I went to the restaurant a few days ago for a business lunch. The service was prompt and courteous. Both of us ordered the steak salad which tasted delicious; however, my salad came without the deviled egg which was one of the key reasons I chose the salad. It would be good if the kitchen paid more attention to the food they prepared before serving to the customers.
Kind service and management. Handled a party of twelve with ease.
Was near empty, yet service and food was slow and poor.
The choices of food were amazing. Our server Carolyn was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this venue.
Delightful. Our waiter and the manager were the sweetest, and very attentive.
The food was mediocre at best.
Our server was friendly and was consistent with following up. There was 11 of us and he was on top of it. Food was fast and delicious. The ribeye was on point and so as the sides. Only thing was the side of mushrooms had way too much pepper. The Mac and cheese was our favorite too. I highly recommend this place. I love how they also had a brunch menu. They let us bring our own cake and was kind enough to use their utensils and small plates for the cake.
Great business dinner. Quality food and excellent service
Got a great table just inside the front door with apura own nice big TV...then it took them over 30 minutes to put the LA Dodgers playoff game on...we asked the hostess twice...the manger once...our server twice...I finally pulled my iPad out and put the game on
Once the server came over with the remote they had no idea how anything worked...if you are going to give a table with its own TV to a server please make sure they know how to work the controls
Other than that fiasco everything was wonderful
Overall we had an enjoyable dining experience. They have a great wine list and a wonderful patio for outdoor dining. We both had steaks and the ribeye was below expectations despite being cooked well.
Great food loved my steak especially the size for the price good value. Sides were okay I had Mac and cheese, brussel sprouts (my favorite), and hand mashed potatoes. Drinks were excellent I had two perfect margaritas enjoyed them a lot. Waiter (Daniel) terrific job the entire night. Checked in on us made sure our order was made accurate.
Beautiful restaurant and ambiance was great. Had great service and food came quickly. Will dine here again for sure.
I ordered the baby back rib dinner. The ribs were so over cooked and super dry. I felt bad but I had to send them back. The waiter said he would take them off our boll. I was not looking for something free but was surprised that no manager came over to talk to me. The manager should have asked questions about the ribs and ask for suggestions on how to improve them. Not good management at all. Very disappointing. Nice restaurant and great waiter. Others in our party of 5 said their dinners were not good also. Bland and over cooked.
Service was god-awful. Had to ask for our first drink multiple times and the food ended up coming before we even received it. Waitress kept making excuses for poor service. The portions are small for a fully priced plate. Not impressed and won’t be going back. I recommend y’all stay away.
I want to say they had a very off night. Personally, I found a rubber band in my steak but then my mom ordered salmon and not only did it come out at least 15 min later than everyone else’s food - but it came out completely absolutely raw. Completely understand these things happen and the kitchen must have been overwhelmed, however, I will add that the food in general is just not that good. We were hoping to celebrate my dads retirement over a nice steak but I really question the quality in general of all of the food. Very mediocre unfortunately :(
The pros: our server was super nice the patio itself is beautiful with a big fireplace and very open the food was good and the desserts were spectacular
The cons and the reasons for the four star instead of a five star review: the service / kitchen / bar was pretty slow, they were out of all but two of their tap beers and they did not have the bottle of wine I was hoping for (or suggestions for something different) and did not have many available options for glassp wine, due to the slower service some of the food came out cool/cold however still tasted pretty darn good so I can only imagine how wonderful it would have been piping hot
This one is an unusual warning we sat on the patio at night the way they have their light setup and their fans it creates a strobe effect especially reflecting off the shiny plastic on the menus which immediately prompted a headache that turned migraine this could easily be avoided by sitting inside and does not change that I would absolutely dine here again
Service was terrible, the worst I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. Plates were dirty. This was an anniversary dinner to forget. I’ve been to Del Friscos in Las Vegas, but this Del Friscos did not come anywhere close. Food was not great either, but the service was terrible. I’d expect more from a high end restaurant of this caliber.
Del Frisco's Grille at the Irvine Spectrum is a great place to have lunch on a Saturday before you go shopping. The VIP cocktail is a must when you go to any Del Frisco's!
The food was fabulous from start to finish. For appetizer we had the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake which was listed at Market Price (MP) which we didn't know until the bill came that it was $25.50! A bit more than we would normally spend on an appetizer, but it was delicious with a generous portion of tender lump crab that was flavorful. My wife and I shared two entrees - the Babyback Pork Ribs and the Prime Beef Short Rib Stroganoff. Both were generous portions - a full rack of ribs that were carmelized but moist and tender meat that falls off the bone and you can definitely taste the smoke flavor. The short rib pasta came with a large chunk of short rib that was super tender and moist served whole along side a bed of pappardelle noodles topped with onion strings. To end the night, we shared a very large slice of the Lemon Cake - definitely lemony and not overpoweringly sweet. Needless to say it was a lot of food for us and plenty of leftovers for another meal. The service was good and our server was very attentive and checked in on us at the right times. Overall a great experience and we would definitely come back again.
First time diners here. I had the salmon which may have been the best I have ever had! My son had fish and chips and said the same. The drinks were also outstanding. I felt for the portions and deliciousness of the food, it was well worth the price.
My husband and I love this place from the deviled eggs to the steak and the amazing truffle Mac and cheese.
It was my birthday! And like always we were very happy with this restaurant
Dinner before the Jason Aldean Concert.
Drinks were great and food and service were good.
Need go get more more people working so I understand their struggles.
Overall a good experience.
This place looks great in the photos but, unfortunately my experience wasn’t all that great.
Should have gone somewhere else. Took over an hour for some salads/ kids meals. Assuming the hang up was the grill because the salads came out soggy. Don’t come here unless you are down to wait.
