Del Frisco's Grille - Irvine
Had a big group for lunch and we have the best server, Sierra who took care of the large group very well. She provided great service and was able to help the group with the right recommendations. A couple of us had the special , 22 oz bone in ribeye and it was one of the best steaks I had, surprisingly.
Went there for wife's birthday and had an excellent meal all around. Steaks were perfect and sides were ddelicious especially the wedge salad.
Brandon our waiter was excellent and the food was just as great and consistent as always.
I’m very indifferent with Del Frisco’s. I’ll start off by saying I can tell they have an extensive training process and (most) of their employees are excellent and provide a warm friendly demeanor at an upscale environment. This has always been key to me to going out. I need to feel welcomed, especially at a nicer restaurant where some people generate snobby attitudes. I feel as if they need to lower the lights for dinner to create a better overall mood. The food is inconsistent and usually you’ll have a hot appetizer, warm steak, cold side, etc. I’ve never been impressed by any of there sides, I’ve actually caught myself saying, ‘how do you screw up asparagus?’ Overall we keep coming back because of the great service and awesome starters. I feel as if when I’m talking about Del Frisco’s I’m talking about the items that people shouldn’t get compared to the items they should get. It definitely speaks volumes.
Our server Sherwin was wonderful and the food was incredible! We brought some friends to celebrate a birthday, everyone was delightfully impressed! We will absolutely bring others again soon! Thank you for the fantastic dining experience!
Makenzie was an attentive server. The food was very good. The atmosphere is always pleasant there.
First time not cooking for Thanksgiving. This is one of our favorite restaurants close to home. They did not disappoint. We had the devil eggs, steak eggrolls, butternut squash soup, thanksgiving dinner plate of turkey, side of mac cheese. The devil eggs and the mac cheese will not become a regular item every time we join them for dinner. Great food and service.
Ashley (bartender) was AMAZING!! This was our very first time at this restaurant... and on Thanksgiving! Wanted to go somewhere special to celebrate the birth of our granddaughter. We had no expectations other than to sit somewhere nice, enjoy a couple steaks, eat casually in the bar... have drinks... enjoy dinner... and watch the Saints game! We were immediately impressed by the attentiveness of the serving staff! Tried “The VIP” (a signature cocktail) and it certainly did NOT disappoint, as promised and recommended by Ashley👍👍 The rib eye and filet (both served “Oscar style” were absolutely DELICIOUS!! We will most certainly be going back for sure (next time with the new parents and baby) as soon as possible. In addition, Ashley provided us with a culinary gift to bring to the new parents at the hospital as they were keeping close watch over the baby while she was treated in the NICU. This was a complete surprise to us before we left that evening, and was sincerely appreciated. Our gratitude was only surpassed by the restaurant’s touching generosity and thoughtfulness... the new parents were overwhelmed by the kindness of strangers, as were we!💗 Such a gift!
Had a nice lunch for Thanksgiving with my friend. Food was great and service even better.
Great steaks, but mashed potatoes had too much heavy cream on them. Way too rich for my taste.
Love this place. We had a great server and the manager came and spent time with us. Of course the food was great.
One of the top 3 restaurants we love always great.Devil eggs are the best in the OC.
Thought the menu was overpriced.
The food was excellent. My steak was cooked to perfection. I got the special - two 4 oz filet mignons each with a different sauce, both of which were delicious. Staff was very nice and helpful.
Great atmosphere was allowed to enamor by boss and my VP with what I am doing because the quality of the restaurant was incredible
good spot for a working lunch. The menu is perfect with options for every palate. The service was very good as well!
Wonderful service and the food was excellent. Service was attentive without being overbearing.
We had a wonderful dinner. The food and service were both very good. My filet was very tender. My husband had the prime steak sandwich and it was also good. Those with us got the strogenoff and enjoyed it. The dessert on the 3 course special was very tasty and served warm.
Great food and service.
Not impressed with food. My husband can make a better steak at home. Ordered a Nutella Bread pudding and didn’t taste any Nutella. Overall disappointed and overrated
Celebrated with my sisters for a birthday celebration. Food and drinks were amazing. Staff was amazing and attentive to us. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I greatly enjoyed my salmon and asparagus. Definitely will go back!
Took my wife here for our date night and it was a great night. Everything we ordered hit the spot. She really enjoyed the sparkling rose option and brick chicken. We both loved the caesar salad. My filet was a perfectly done rare with cool center, mashed potatoe sides and asparagus were also on point. We rarely order dessert but the chocolate molten cake is definitely worth it! I highly recommend this place!
Good food, fast and friendly service. Very attentive. Good drinks.
Jessica did a very nice job serving us.
Our experience was fabulous! We love coming here mainly because we are never rushed. When out with friends we like to "dine" as my husband calls it. We take our time...enjoy a drink and appetizers then order our dinner. The food is excellent!
Perfect and nice environment. We enjoyed dish and dessert
Had a birthday dinner with family. Great food and service.
Great service, outstanding food.
Although the staff offered me a sharp knife for my generous portion of beef short rib on the stroganoff, it was unnecessary as it fell apart with the touch of the fork. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked, including the wide noodles that formed a bed under the tender beef. Topped with crisp, sweet, thin fried onions, it's my favorite dish on the menu -- I especially enjoyed it with a house side salad to balance the richness of the dish. It's a bit expensive for me for more than an occasional visit, but the quality of the food, the service and comfort of this restaurant make it very worthwhile. Definitely worth the splurge!
Everything was excellent. Connor was very attentive and gave great suggestions.
This is not Del Frisco Double Eagle!! Which we mistook it for on our Date night. This is a family grill restaurant. On a Friday night at 8:00 every other table was with many small children. No table cloths and very informal. If you have small children it is a great place for you! We left after a drink at the bar. The food looked fairly decent with lots of grill options.
Our whole night was PHENOMENAL!! Thank you Chef Joe for our perfectly prepared meals, Manager Chris for all your wonderful help in selections, and Joanna for fabulous service! Looking forward to visiting again soon!!!
Davis was amazing and the Managers inquires on how the food and service was made us extremely happy with the service
Great food and service!
We have a monthly business lunch at this location - first rate experience!!!
Out if items on menu, service rushed. Over priced for a 2 star. restaurant.
Love the service, love the food. Martini is good, too.
It was Great to see Lamb on their tasting menu and I hope to see it on the regular menu soon!!
Great steak and seafood entrees. Also loved the wedge salad.
My friend and I both celebrated our birthdays on Sunday at Del Frisco’s and it was great! Our waiter Hunter was perfect, as he explained and answered all of our questions. The food, drinks and desserts were outstanding. We are looking forward to coming back. Thank you!
