Del Frisco's Grille - Fort Worth
Waitress was not friendly at all and somewhat dismissive. She never checked on us between food delivery and request for dessert menu. But, dropped off the check early. Also, I specifically asked for extra dressing on the side of my salad but still regular amount on salad. The salad arrived dry with all dressing on the side which I do not like. Overall, my worst visit to this restaurant.
Great time! Went there for a birthday dinner and they totally accommodated us. Fantastic steak!
Our serve Shelby was very attentive. It was nice evening out with friends.
Very nice meal. The wine (and whiskey) Sommelier stopped by to talk to us about the wine we ordered and his recommendations both for wine and for whiskey. The food was great, as always. Our waiter (Romeo, I think) was very good as well.
Great food and service. Seats by the door which made it a little tough to stay warm.
We were there for matinee play, our waiter was great, the food was beautiful and we had the entertainment of the parade going on.
Service and food was great! Always a great visit when I come here.
This visit was not typical. Appetizer came out with the entree and was cold. Order was wrong, steak was under cooked, Had to wait on steak knives after the the steak arrived. No serving spoons with the "Shareable sides".
Four words. Fire the head chef. We we’re invited back by the restaurant manager after a bad experience on Jan 1st. Filets were forest burned to a crisp then the second go-around they were undercooked and arrived medium rare. (Ordered medium well) The three time, third steak, was the same. Medium rare. Thus the invite to come back for another chance. So we did. The short story - the two small filets arrived medium rare. Pics below. Two things happened: they had to ask if they were okay AFTER having us cut them open and seeing they were far from medium-well, and two, they took the steaks from the table and re-grilled them. Came back way overcooked. How does this happen at a place like DF that says they are known for their steaks? Not once. 2 visits. 4 steaks total. And 2 of those were re-done and nearly scorched. End of story- the manager come to the table in disbelief and says “go to Ruth’s Chris for steaks, but please come back to Del Frisco’s for everything else.” Del Frisco’s - we are done. Very poor.
Great food and service. The devil eggs were the best I have ever eaten and the steak was top grade delicious.
Wonderful dinner with friends before going to the Bass
Service and food was excellent!
Always consistent, service was spot on. DFG is a go-too that never disappoints.
Shelby took great care of us and the food was great
Another great evening at Del Frisco's Grille. We arrived right at our reservation time and were immediately taken to our table. Service was very attentive, but not hovering. We of course, started with the cheesesteak eggrolls. (to die for) My wife and I both had the Short Rib Stroganoff, which is probably the best piece of beef you will ever put in your mouth. The room was close to full, but still quiet enough for easy conversation. The manager stopped by to check on us and get our feedback. High marks across the board. We dine here about once a month. It never disappoints.
Had an event for 16 people. The staff was professional and proficient. I will return.
We enjoyed our brunch! Food and drinks were wonderful.
Staff was amazing, food was amazing! I've been here a few times and every time I'm very happy walking out and definitely love going back.
Katie, our waitress was great! He steak with crab cake and shrimp was awesome along with the truffle Mac
a bit noisy and busy but an enjoyable evening all in all
The scallops were delicious but the dish was barely warm not hot.
Great selection of interesting appetizers plus outstanding mains. My steak was excellent. Wine sommelier was great!
We love the menu. And the VIP drink. One thing however, is the fact we can never count on the STEAKS being done correctly. This one visit alone, the bone-in filet was charred and burned. Sent back for a new one. It came back undercooked by a significant margin. Sent back for a third go. By this time, our guests were finished with their main courses and my wife and I hadn’t begun. We’ll come back for the burgers and stroganoff but NEVER another steak. Overall, an inattentive wait staff this go around as well. We had to get up from the table 2 times to get service. A big disappointment overall.
New years brunch
Katie and Dawson did an amazing job for as busy New Years Eve was! We always appreciate the food quality and service that we receive from here! Thank you for making it a wonderful evening!
The food was excellent as was the service. The location right on Sundance Square is an added bonus during the holidays!
Went for New Years Eve - set menu with everything superb!
NYE dinner on patio. Food is ALWAYS consistently good!
The view is the best for downtown Fort Worth....I’m a bit bias since most NYE’s are spent in Berlin, Quito or Vail but for Cowtown it’s ok. You see ladies in sparkle but the geriatric atmosphere puts a damper on being festive. Appetizer & entree was subpar and dessert two thumbs down. Suggestions would be to add a toast, decor, themed dinner, music (college football was being shown on the tv). Nothing really stood out it was just like any other night at The Grille.
We dined at Del Frisco’s Grille for New Year’s Eve. We had a perfect table to watch the festivities in Sundance square. The prix fixe menu was pretty decently priced and had a food variety of options (although it would have been nice to have more vegetarian friendly choices). Our server was very friendly but she would disappear for long periods of time and we wouldn’t see her for a while. The food was excellent but she forgot about our prosecco toast (part of the prix fixe package) and then overcharged us for the meal. In the end, everything was reconciled but I would expect more from a place like this. Also, the single person bathroom arrangement is terrible! No matter when you try to go, there is a line that is really frustrating. Overall, it was a fine experience and we’ll probably go back. But I would love to see them make some updates.
New Years Eve -Bree Favara is the best! Had slight issue with requested table and she fixed it quickly. Highly recommend DFG in Fort Worth
New Years Eve
We did New Year's Eve here....great place....would've given the food 5 stars except the filet I had was overly seasoned.....when I order a filet I don't expect a steak au poivre and that's what it tasted like....but the meat was very good and it was still done as I ordered....good, strong drinks, good sides except for the asparagus.......5 stalks for the price they charge....c'mon...the other sides were ample but the asparagus was skimpy. Still recommend it....great location just of Sundance Square!
Steaks looked like a fraction of the size advertised on the menu. Ours was significantly undercooked and had to be sent back and our friends were almost done by the time we got ours served. The service was not very attentive.
Our waiter was great. The food was amazing. Overall a great experience. Will definitely be going back.
Food, Drinks, Service, and everything else about the evening was perfect. Thank you Coco for making sure we had a fabulous evening with our family.
Started rocky because of the “missed” reservation time. But they got us seated right away and everything was great.
If you go around thanksgiving/Christmas sit outside (they have heaters) you have a great view of the tree
It was my son’s birthday. It was a nice surprise when Dawson brought a complimentary coconut pie and lava cake for him.
The steaks were excellent, but could use less salt and pepper. Asparagus was tough. The rest of the food and service was excellent.
Our mid-afternoon meal was good, and we'll most certainly return. But after seven or eight visits, I feel compelled to add a few caveats. First, the hostesses/greeters are never––and I mean NEVER––personable, welcoming, courteous, etc. The initial greeting is usually curt and uncaring. Second, while the atmosphere is upscale and semi-formal in appearance, our late-afternoon meal had loud rock as background music, which did not suit the somewhat formality of the setting or meal. Definitely not "background" music. The food, however, is usually excellent, and the location is great.
