Del Frisco's Grille - Fort Worth Ratings and Reviews
Late dinner. Varied menu selections, all sounding delicious. Scallops were cooked well, polenta base was too salty. The steak was tender and juicy. Service was good and apologies made for lag time with our order. Bartender is very efficient considering the influx of people after a show. Overall, for late night fare good choice but not a first choice.
Good quality food, good food preparation, good waiter, food slow to arrive at the table. We prefer a little less noise (music volume) so we can easily talk across the table. Close enough to parking for a leisurely walk with plenty to do nearby. We will most likely return and will refer to others.
The food was delicious but extremely small; however, the service was bad. Our waiter made a $72.00 tip when he visited our table with no urgency. Two of our seven entrees came out about 5 minutes prior to the other entrees making them cold by the time we began to eat. These two entrees were also the special's for the evening. When I go to an expensive restaurant like this, the service best be on point and the food all served at the same time! I can go to Saltgrass Steakhouse and get a prime rib steak that is just as good, less expensive, and excellent service.
Food for dinner was fabulous!!!! Also had lunch earlier outside on the terrace - food, service and atmosphere was fabulous!
Dinner was upstairs...requested a booth overlooking the plaza but our table had a limited window view.....about 25%. In addition, salads were brought out early (before the wine was poured). We told the server we thought these were someone else's - way too early and 3 of the salads were wrong. He insisted. Desert was comped for their error but only 1 desert when 3 salads were incorrect. After we finished our meal, the same "new person" tried to deliver another salad to us and was not aware that we had finished our meal and wine glasses were empty - in other words, we were clearly done but he was trying to deliver a single salad to our table.
This is the second time we have dined here. The first was perfect, this time our steaks were cold! They offered to fix them but brought us back the same steaks, just warmed up. The server did take off the cost of our appetizer and dessert but overall we were disappointed about the steaks.
The food & wine were amazing!!! BUT the staff was terrible. We had 7 (4 adults, 3 young children), $300 meal (including tip), made a reservation online. We were 15 minutes early and the hosts (3) looked annoyed that we would bring kids and after I told them we were here, never made eye contact again until it was time to be seated, no communication about how long it would take NOTHING. We sat, again food & wine amazing. Waitress was less than enthusiastic about us and the kids.
I felt as though the looked at us differently bc of the kids, but if I’m ready to spend $300 on a meal, I expect the BEST service ever.
This was the perfect venue for our 43rd anniversary. Because of the food, but the ambiance
was particularly perfect. The outdoor seating of Del Frisco Grille and The Bird was pleasantly full. We were walking in from the west side of Sundance Square, so we got a wonderful view of it. Our table had outdoor ambiance, because the walls (glass) were moved for full visibility. Also, the name of the restaurant was very appropriate, because our honeymoon was in San Francisco (word play). THANKS
We celebrated our 51st wedding anniversary with a Saturday Brunch with friends. Our reservation was at 11:00 am (opening time) and the covered outdoor patio proved to be an excellent location to eat, converse and people watch. All of us were very pleased with our brunch selection and plan on returning soon.
My wife and I love this place. Outdoor sitting is not easy to get because it is first come, first serve. However it is one of the best outdoor eating around town. If you are not able to eat outside on a nice sunny late afternoon, the indoor atmosphere is nice. The Prime Ribeye is unbelievable. Even, if your are not in the mood for dinner.. this is an excellent place to have a drink. DFG checks all the buttons .... ambience, great food , great service, great wine....
Went out for our 13 year anniversary on a Saturday. We got there a bit early so we decided to have a few drinks at the bar upstairs. We sat at the bar and waited for about six minutes before I got up and went to get the bar tenders attention that was busy talking. He got us a drink and then left when a different bar tender showed up. We had our drink and had to wait another 5-6 minutes before getting a refill. After that service we decided to leave and check on our reservation downstairs. From then on it was awesome experience with the wait staff. The food and drinks were awesome. Not sure if the bar tenders were having a bad day but I didn’t let them ruin our night. I recommend this place to anyone that is willing to have a great date and still not break the bank.
The special occasion was my birthday and I was not happy with the food. I wanted broccoli and understood that it would be a mixture of broccoli and asparagus but was not happy with the outcome. I barely had broccoli. I was served lemon cake for dessert and the lemon cake was old.
Staff is friendly...not a problem...but it took extremely long time before food was served.
Dessert took an inordinate amount of time; coffee and a latte, never made it to the table.
I hate to be so negative since the staff persons were friendly and with good attitudes. Maybe
it was the kitchen, but no explanations were given.
