Drinks were good, waitress was nice, food was Luke warm at best. No one asked how the food was, And while it was good but not hot, guessing it sat a while before they brought it to us.
We always enjoy eating at this place. You can eat indoors or out. The wait staff are professional and efficient. This visit we enjoyed shrimp cocktail, flatbreads, and beef stroganoff. Although not something I typically order at other restaurants, the stroganoff here is really good. The only reason we don't eat here more often is the prices are a bit more than average.
A little late in getting the table ready but the service was good food came out on time.
I set up a business meeting and meal in the private room for 18 people. Our service and staff were excellent. We were highly impressed. One of our customers who was present took their customer to the other location in town. Thank you for your hospitality.
Have only eaten at one other Del Frisco before and this one was no where near as good as the one in New York. Wanted the fish and chips but they did not have it. Tried to order the red wine on tap and they where out of that to. Went with the a salad and added chicken. The salad came out with ice cold chicken that looked like processed chicken. And the bacon on the salad was ice cold and burnt. The waiter fixed the salads and it was a thousand times better. For the price of the food I would expect a better product.
It was perfect for our business meeting. Thank you.
Generally positive ratings for food and service. The one thing I find ridiculous was a “to go” charge of .58 cents!!!!. We spent $100 and ordered a coconut pie to go. Is this really a huge burden to this place for the handful of people who order items to go. So cheap and tacky.
Food was horrible. Our poor waitress was running all over the place. She was the only one working.
It was our first time dining at Del Frisco’s. We previously had reservations back in February but a snowstorm came through and we had to return home to beat the storm. This time we were able to make it and we both had the Top Sirloin and it was abundantly flavorful throughout. I accompanied my steak with the truffle Mac and cheese while my wife went with the Brussels. Each dish had its own unique flavor unlike other establishments. If we had one in our city we would definitely reserve again, however, if/when we return to the metro Nashville area we will be sure to dine, again.
Great location in Brentwood. We had family in town and met up here for dinner. Everyone loved what they got: crispy artichokes, ribeye steaks, sautéed asparagus, crispy Brussels sprouts, Mediterranean shrimp, and steak salad. Servers were very nice and attentive. After dinner we went across the street for ice cream.
Granted it was 6 pm on a Friday night but the service was subpar and all of out favorites were not available. What we did order took forever to arrive and was way overcooked.
We were excited to book a large table on the patio for a family get together. The service was excellent and we had a great time, but we were all blown away by the prices. We eat out a lot and are accustomed to fine dining prices, but were very surprised by our ticket for a casual neighborhood meal. It's our fault for not looking at the menu in advance and order drinks, but it will definitely keep us from coming back.
We were greeted by the hostesses (they were great) and sat us right around the time of our reservation. Once seated, we sat, and sat, and sat. 15 minutes later, I stopped one of the servers walking by and said, “Excuse me, do you know who our server is?” She said, “Ya it’s me and kept walking.” There was no communication, no “Yes, I’m so sorry I’ve been running and will be with you in a moment.” No “can I grab you waters in meantime?” Just a cold response and then she was on her way. My husband was furious. The kids were upset and hungry. So we sat ANOTHER 8-10 min and still she never returned, so we got up and left. I told the hostess stand and they were extremely apologetic. We walked to Uncle Julio’s across the way and had a great experience. Very disappointing.
We decided to try this for our anniversary. We had a 5:30 reservation. Checked in at 5:25. Waited for our table until 5:45. I know restaurants are short handed right now so I expect slower service. We waited for our food a LONG time. So long that the server apologized for the kitchen backup. Two of the three steaks had to be returned to the kitchen. When they came out again, they were correct but then the lobster was cold. Our meal was almost $200, which I don’t mind if it’s good service and food. It wasn’t.
Food was good, no complaints. Was the food as good as it was a year ago? No. However, unlike recent meals at this restaurant, this time the service was excellent. A pleasant surprise.
We eat here frequently and the food is good. They are just very understaffed.
Over an hour to receive appetizer. The eggrolls looked half as large as usual. Then additional wait before salads arrived. This is the second visit in a row with abysmal service.
Went for happy hour. Very nice upscale casual spot.
Only issue was there were understaffed which is happening everywhere . The hostess kept us from going to a booth that had been open for 15-20 minutes while we stood in the lobby waiting .
Rather be sorted then wait in lobby for 15-20 minutes.
Delicious food + fantastic service = a great dining experience! Wilson was our server and he was amazing!
Short wait staff waited for 15 minutes at our table
After being seated with a reservation to even get someone to ask us if we wanted water after we asked for a server. We left
Nice evening, good food and cocktails. When the kitchen informed our great server (after he brought us the dessert menu) that they were closed, he talked with the manager who sprung into action and made the deserts happen! A great lady who’s there for the guests!
I was so disappointed when I tried to order my dinner. I asked for a 6oz sirloin with no butter and a order of potatoes with no butter they said the chef said there was no way not to put butter in the potatoes which for me is very important. I am on a strict meal plan and this was supposed to be my cheat meal it is very specific and I wanted to eat out at a nice restaurant, well that didn't happen we had to leave. I will not be returning and I find it very sad that you can not request no butter when ordering off of the menu.
We had a larger group (9) and I figured that it would take a bit longer. Our waiter kept forgetting my wine, he would ask again twice what I ordered and kept forgetting. Finally getting our food and most of our steaks were over cooked and we asked for a few of us asked to return them for new ones.
Sean or Shawn was extremely helpful with making our dining experience memorable.
Great time with friends, food on point, drinks excellent, service on point
One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a while! We had 6:30 dinner reservations for my birthday. Highlights, we received our food at 8:00 after waiting for over an hour with no contact from our waitress. Our drinks were never re-filled. We were never offered to order second drinks. We only got our water refilled once and we dined until 9:15. Almost 3 hours and they were not even busy. My steak was under-cooked. I was able to ask for it to get cooked further and when the waitress came back to ensure it was cooked to my liking, she asked if we wanted the check at that time. My husband had to tell her to let me finish my meal first. There was no offer for dessert. My husband mentioned the service feedback to the manager and the manager had a dessert sent to the table for me. The waitress’ comment was “I thought you were joking when you said it was your birthday”. Still no offer for others to order dessert or even see a menu. Terrible service and we will choose to go elsewhere to celebrate a special occasion next time. I didn’t even get as much as an apology for ruining my birthday evening.
First the good: we arrived 15 min late and they still accommodated us. (We called ahead to let them know).
The house soup was great (but VERY small portion. The steak was a perfect medium rare.
Now the not so good: we waited almost half an hour before we even got our appetizers. Only after complaining did they come.
We told the server that we didn’t want any food that was lukewarm, especially the steak and lobster… and truffled Mac and cheese. Sure enough, everything but the soup was lukewarm.
All of the portions were terribly small, especially when considering the costs. The lobster was way overcooked.
We would have added a star or two if they had offered to comp one of the appetizers to make up for the wait.
Food was delicious and our server was very polite and friendly. The kitchen sent us an incorrect item but fixed it immediately. We sat outside and there was good social distancing. Only slight complaint is that the seats were very low relative to the table.
The quality of the protein on the salad was not up to par.
Cocktails are significantly overpriced
Very busy Tuesday night. Very long wait for service. Spent a bit over 3hrs there to eat dinner.
This was an amazing dining experience. A go-to when in Brentwood. We loved the truffle Mac and Cheese. The caper sauce on-top of the crispy chicken was delicious as well.
We had reservations for a birthday celebration for my husband and were very excited about the Del Frisco’s experience. However the evening was less than I had predicted. Our server, although very nice and pleasant was completely overwhelmed and had difficulty with tending to basic needs, drinks requests were not timely, requested items not timely, food order was excessively long (especially dessert).
The atmosphere of the restaurant was TOO energetic as in extreme noise and servers running around as if they were in a frantic state.
Although the food was very good (a little pricey for portions) however the evening was not an enjoyable celebration. Quite disappointing. We will not return.
Young staff made it a bit tricky
Waited over and hour for our food to come out and then our steak and lobster weren’t even hot.
The quality of the food was a disappointment. My husband’s Wedge salad was comprised of white, old lettuce he could not eat. My halibut was overcooked to the point of extreme dryness. This is not the first time we have been disappointed by the quality of the meal.
It was a birthday dinner but nothing was ever mentioned about the birthday.
Also, the happy hour times on the website are incorrect.
Outstanding experience. The charcuterie board was delicious and our server was especially friendly and engaging. Beautiful evening to sit outside and enjoy our dinner.
Birthday lunch for our son! Service was great!
