Father’s Day Dinner: service was so poor. There were servers just standing around chatting at the bar. Had to ask 3 times for drinks that had been ordered. A real disappointment as we have been customers for a few years now. Not sure we will be back.
Our server was awesome!!
The menu was full of delicious choices, the service was excellent and the food tasted great. Our party of 6 all had different items and we all enjoyed them.
Very poor and rude management! We had a 2 course dinner that took 3 hours. Several in our party received the wrong food and others of us didn't get our food for more than 2 hours.
Our poor waiter had way too many tables and we went 20-30 minutes in between seeing him. The management was not helping him with expediting or busing.
overpriced, small portion, food below average....nothing special
Had a reservation and waited 20 min. Never got seated and left.
My friend and I went here last night for dinner. She ordered salmon, deviled eggs, and parm fries. I ordered steak and a side of mushrooms and ahi tuna tacos. Everything was ok. My friend found bones in her salmon and plastic in her fries. After i asked for the manager he ran over and offered to remake the fries. We didnt want them remade. The mushrooms just tasted so bland like no seasoning or anything on them. The steak i ordered was a hamburger patty. The deviled eggs tasted dry. The parm fries we could've made at home its just shredded parm on french fries. My friend and i were really surprised when i got the check and it was $100. This is including the $25 taken off the check for the issues we endured. Im hoping the nashville location isn't this bad. Again the food we ordered is not worth $100. We wont be coming back to this location.
I expected more from Del Frisco's to be honest. It was our 35 anniversary and the steak was undercooked, taken back, then over cooked, but nothing done about it when we said that. Restaurant was VERY loud. I like to talk to who I'm with, not fight loud music. Service was somewhat slow, and dirty dishes not taken away when we were done. Just left in front of us as we finished our drinks. That's a serving 101 pet peeve of mine. With so many choices it will be a long time before I give this place another shot.
Wine list by glass is small (7-10 options), but even some items listed in this short list are not available.
Asked about a cocktail with pear liquor/syrup, they did not have this flavor(I will assume that the restaurant of this class should have it).
The website called out for happy hours in general, but happy hours are available only at bar and outside area.
The atmosphere and service are great.
Had a rough start in the bar…one of the bartenders had a meltdown over something and we were ignored for many minutes. Outstanding service in the dining room by Sean, our server. He was attentive without hovering. Friendly and efficient. The food was perfect!
Enjoyed Sunday lunch with friends! Lovely setting, excellent service, and delicious food.
Food was so salty
Food was very good. Server was excellent but there just is not enough staff. This is the fourth or fifth time that we have had the same problem at this restaurant. They are charging far too much money for what they invest in service. It’s not acceptable. We have been longtime patrons of Del Frisco‘s but I’m afraid this might be my last one … There are just many other better values in Brentwood
The food and service were both great, but it was more expensive than anticipated.
My wife did not receive her salmon until the rest of us were almost through eating, I would have thought since this happened a free desert would have at least been offered. The food and environment is great, but when a mistake is made there needs to be some kind of concession to make it right.
Another enjoyable experience! Sean was top notch and the food was wonderful.
We went here for our 20th wedding anniversary and because it's part of the Landry's group (we're members). I made the reservation at least a week or more ago and we were disappointed to find ourselves waiting for 30 minutes. I noticed two groups being sat that showed up after us. I brought it to the hostess's attention and she acknowledged that a mistake had been made and then sat us. The meal was fine and service very attentive after all of that, but it certainly got us off to an unpleasant start. When going to a place this nice and paying those kinds of prices, I expect an elevated experience, and our evening simply was not that.
Seated 30 minutes after our reservation time. Slow service.
Were told after we ordered that three of the things we ordered were out of stock. Could have told us that up front. Two of the wine pours had to be sent back as they had crystals in the glass, the flat bread was so salty it was inedible, water glass never refilled. Salmon on caesar salad was too salty.
Disappointed in the food quality for the price. Not as food as I have experienced in the past at this location.
They served us frozen bread, the wrong soup, they forgot our order of deviled eggs, steaks were dry, didn't fill-up our glasses without us having to ask and the evening was overall a pretty horrible experience. The hostess also said there was a 45 minute wait to have a table outside and hardly anyone was sitting on their patio. I hate complaining, but these are the facts and we won't be back.
We had a 7:30 reservation. We were early and went into the bar to have a drink while waiting. Greeted right away by bartender and was prompt.y seated when table ready. Service and food excellent
We have eaten here many times in the past and have been very pleased. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow last night. We ordered drinks and appetizers within 10 minutes of being seated but then no one came back for at least 15 minutes to take our order. The food came out of the kitchen reasonably quickly - the appetizers actually arrived before our drinks, but the waitstaff was nearly nonexistent. At one point the manager saw that we were looking for our server and came over to help out. It was a Saturday night so I would expect them to be staffed for a larger crowd. We will give them another chance but if the service doesn’t get better we will be going somewhere else.
We had a reservation but still had to wait about 10 minutes. The service was great, our waitress did have a a lot of tables to wait on but she took care of us. Drinks were good for the price. Food left us expecting more for the price. We had the halibut which was over cooked and dry, the shopped steak was basically a burger without a bun and salty. Probably will not be back due to the price tag for subpar food.
Service was slow. Waters not refilled. Food took over 30 minutes and salads were brought with the meal. We waited 10 minutes for a table despite the reservation. Uncle Julio’s across the way looked much better run and more crowded. Very disappointing.
Food was good. But, the front desk staff was terrible and rude.
I made a reservation and arrived on time, but had to wait for ~30min until we sit on.
There was no point to make a reservation. It's more like first come first serve.
Restaurant was definitely low on server as many restaurants do now a days.
Even after we got the food, we didn't get the silverware.
I really wish our experience would have been better! Our server was very nice but the staff overall seemed poorly trained. The hostess told us to have a seat to wait even though we arrived on time for our reservation. We waited for almost 15 minutes to be seated although this was early and the restaurant had available tables. The food was *meh* at best. We had a salmon dish that was okay, a french dip that was delicious, chicken fingers for our child that were left in the fryer too long and a filet/shrimp combo that was pretty good. I definitely expected more for the prices and the reputation the Del Frisco name has. I sure hope this turns around but I won't be going back for awhile.
Restaurant was cold as noted by all four diners at our table.
Food was slow, but understandable and expected in today's labor market.
Extremely slow service. At least 20 minutes to get drinks. Out of two key menu items. Replacement items were extremely small. 2 to 3 bites for an entrée. Not good value for the price. No offer for drink refills or dessert menu, check was brought while entrées were still being eaten.
Reservation was at 6:45. Waited and seated at 7:10. After we were seated waited 15 mins. (7:25) No one came to our table. We left without eating. Very disappointed in the restaurant.
We were a party of 6 and they sat us at a table we felt was too small. When we asked to move they said the table behind us was reserved but no one ever sat there the entire time we were there. We felt like they did not try to accommodate us. We got there 15 minutes before our reservation, so I asked for a quiet table in the back and they sat us right in the middle of the of the restaurant which appeared to be the least quiet place.
Service was horrible. I watch a couple that was seated 30 minutes before us walk out because they had not been served. A gentleman at the table next to our warned us. We should have left then. Our server finally arrived after our neighbor prompted his server that we had been waiting. The food was horrible. Everything cold. Not warm but cold. We asked for a manager and she was less than helpful. We ended up paying for that meal without so much as an apology. She wouldn't even look at us as we left. We will NEVER eat there again. Very disappointed
Server dropped and broke a ketchup carafe next to our table splattering on our shoes.
There was a graduation party that night with a large party.. not the fault of the restaurant but created a lot of noise.
The steak was excellent and my wife devoured the halibut. Great wine list and a nice cocktail menu.
This visit to Del Frisco's was such a disappointment. We had previously had two amazing visits with absolutely fabulous food and wonderful waiters, so it was a natural choice for our anniversary dinner. Unfortunately the waitress seemed completely put off by us the second she realized that we weren't ordering drinks. She didn't really want anything to do with us after that. It's a reality we've come to expect with some places, but it still sucks every time it happens. Nevertheless, we had a $100 meal. When my $39 filet arrived, it was supposed to be medium but was so burned I almost dipped it in ketchup. I was too scared of the waitress to mention how awful it was. The fries were no longer the amazing shoestring ones we were looking forward to and what you see online. The deviled eggs were a strange mix of flavorless with a weird fishy after taste. It was just not good. We were there for an hour and a half and my drink was never refilled. So we're off to try other steakhouses again. We're definitely done with Del Frisco's.
Awful and embarrassing experience. The reservation was at 7:45. We were seated 30 minutes late and then ignored for another 30 min. The one guest ordered a burger in a lettuce wrap and another guest a salad. The burger was sent back to be replated, and a request for dressing for the salad. Twenty minutes later, the server is MIA. We needed to go to the kitchen and wait for them to provide the dinner and salad. The restroom was out of paper towels. We mentioned this to the hostess, and they answered they were out of paper towels. No paper towels for the bathroom?! How do they expect employees and guest and employees to wash their hands after using the restroom? Seems like a health code type of thing.
We arrived at 7:10 for our 7:15 reservations. We were told they were "a bit behind and it would be a few minutes". At 7:40, I inquired how we were looking on the list as it had been 25 mins after our reservations at this point. The hostess said, "If I'm being honest, it's going to be probably 20 more minutes. We had a couple people go home and we're scrambling to recover". They lie to you so you won't leave and go elsewhere. We finally got seated at 8:08 (53 mins late), took 10 more minutes before being greeted by our server and had our order taken around 8:20. We weren't about to let the server get away with a drink order without taking the food order. Lord knows we had plenty of time to look over the menu since we had been there since 7:10. Salad made it to the table at 8:24 and food made it at 8:53. We were finished and ready to go at 9:15 but didn't complete the paying process until 9:37. The food was pretty good but the front of the house ruined the experience. We asked for a manager before even being seated and it took her 10 minutes to even come and speak with us. She was not very apologetic and only gave us excuses as to why it took so long being seated. Nothing was comped or even offered to make up for the bad experience. The only bright spot was the waiters. They did offer me a free side because the mashed potatoes were not ready when the steak was ready and they wanted me to have something to eat with the steak. The mashed potatoes came out 5 minutes afterwards. The person with me told me to never ever mention coming to this restaurant again.
Our server was wonderful, friendly and very sweet. It seems they were limited on wine options but we were able to find a surprisingly good alternative based on the recommendation of our server. The food was good but the only dish that lacked any real appeal was the Grill Salad. It seems this restaurant is still trying to recover from the pandemic closures.
