Husband’s birthday- went with couple friends. Got moved from a bar too table to a lovely booth at my request. Very accommodating. Delicious food. Friendly wait staff. Great ambiance.
The food was great , no complains.
We were sat at a booth upstairs right beside the door to outside patio, so we were hot , as A/C is working overtime for nothing with the door to outside opening every other minute.
Also because of that I assume, the A/C vent kept dripping water on my head the whole meal, which I mentioned but was told I should just try to position myself on the booth away from where AC was dripping.
Chelsea was our server, but was apparently assigned a private party as well and so it was hard to locate her when needed.
Ryan was the best waiter had the best recommendations and new everything on and off the menu.
Del Friscos Dallas have a great problem with the air conditioning, they need to fix the problem as soon as possible. It is to hot
We made reservations day of for my wife’s birthday and as always the service, ambience and food was perfect. It took a little while for them to seat us but the host found a spot for us to wait at the bar where we got drinks and we seated shortly after. Always my go to for good food and impeccable service.
Loved it!! An awesome date night spot! Loved the energy and food was outstanding!!
Awesome time as always - amazing food
Continues to go downhill with corporate ownership. Nothing special anymore. Food was the worst we have at a Del Friscos in 25 years. Go back to the old bread.
Good was old horrible and made us sick!! Will not recommend.
Food and service were excellent. Atmosphere, nobody wants Instagram girls flashing cameras at each other and all those around you all night. It’s very annoying and I’m not sure why the restaurant allows it. In the bar, maybe…..during a very expensive meal, just no. It’s extremely low class.
We were looking for a quiet, romantic spot with great food & excellent service for our first date night in months. Del Frisco’s & our server, Jennie B, exceeded our expectations. We will be back again this summer.
Dan and the people behind the bar were awesome, fast and attentive service and great recommendations on what to order!
Our server (don’t remember his name) was awesome. The food was great! Cooked at the right point. I like the cream spinach best at Nick&Sams. The cheese cake and raspberry sorbet were beyond excellence. I went to Papas Bros last week to give it a try. I will never go back and stick with Del Frisco (more value for the money) and Nick&Sams (expensive but still good). Thank you!
We had reservations at 9:45pm. Showed up and informed there were no tables to have a seat at the bar. Sat at the bar for 20 mins before approaching the hosts counter. To be informed we were forgotten and in the system as seated. When in fact we had been waiting for a table. Now that we were seated after the kitchen closed we got looks like it was an inconvenience we were seated and now keeping them longer. Had to order immediately since the kitchen was closed. Our server was great, but the overall experience I would never go back to this restaurant.
It all started when we walked in... nobody at the hostess stand - for 5 minutes. We were told our table wasn’t ready (even though we had a reservation and I’d say at most it was 50% full) and we should go to the bar to wait. Go to the bar and have a drink, and they come up to seat us. But they say they won’t transfer the tab, got to close it out first. That takes forever because the people behind the bar just aren’t paying attention. Get seated, table is wobbly, it’s literally 10 minutes before we see the waiter. Waiter brings bread with honey over the top but no utensils/napkins, keeps forgetting to bring something to fix the table. Literally crawls under the table for 2 minutes trying to fix it...sort of wondered if he was looking up my dates skirt. I could go on and on, but I’ll just say, the service was beyond awful all night. The food was well below par. Crab cake was undercooked as was my steak. There was a ton of lobster shell in the lobster Mac. The butter cake was not warm and it was stale. I told the waiter what I thought of everything - politely but firmly. The manager wandered by, I don’t think because the waiter mentioned how bad it was, just dumb luck. Asked me how was everything, so I told him too. Again, politely but firmly. I Told them both I wasn’t really looking for a price break, but that this was so far below par it was ridiculous, and I felt obliged to explain it to them. Even though I wasn’t asking for a break on the check, one has to assume when you have an experience that bad in a high end restaurant they’re going to do something for you, but unbelievably, they didn’t even make a small concession on the check. I paid it, left a 10 buck tip on $250 tab (and even at that felt like I was being too generous) and left in disgust. I’ll never go back. There are too many great steak houses in Dallas.
It was packed with many patrons dressed way too casual in workout attire with ball caps on. There is a dress code sign displayed at hostess station and online, but it obviously is not enforced. Very inappropriate attire for an upscale, expensive eatery. This depreciates the ambiance and vibe. We had a similar experience here last year, so we won’t be returning.
The food, cocktails and atmosphere were really good. The service was terrible. It took a long time for someone to first come and greet me and take a drink order. Then every time we wanted something, it took a long time for the waiter to return to the table and then another very long wait to get what we requested. Loved the food but walked out of there about 4 hours after first arriving.
Great place to eat, wonderful food.
Poor service, steaks undercooked and found hair on the bread rolls. Go to Perry’s.
Celebrating a divorce!
Our waitress was Rhandi, and she was spectacular!!
Very professional and knowledgeable with the menu and specials. All of her recommendations were spot on. Steak & lobster was cooked perfectly, along with our sides lobster Mac & asparagus.
Would definitely recommend. And ask for Rhandi!!!
The service and food was absolute amazing. Will definitely be coming back
We were so looking forward to this birthday dinner. The service was beyond terrible. We waited 45 minutes for our food before we summoned a manager who told us our food had been served to a different table🤷♀️We waited another 10 minutes and were served nearly raw steaks. Our waitress disappeared. At this point, we were angry and decided to leave. They did comp our 2 appetizers, but that didn’t make up for an awful experience. We will never return to this restaurant.
Hosted seven young men for our sons birthday; the staff the food and everything was perfect. We appreciate them making sure he had a memorable guys night out for his birthday
Great service, but for the prices the food was kind of mediocre. Good, but just good.
We had dinner here for a bachelor party, and it was exactly what we were looking for.
Thanks for being great hosts!
Experience was generally good. When it comes to larger parties and splitting checks, it became very difficult. Company wanted to put the entire bill on one card. The explanation from the management was not very helpful or accommodating.
Excelente comida!! Los terminos de la carne cómo se pidió
Excellent Food and service. My family loved it everything
Prime ribeye decent flavor but chewy, needed better sear. Sides were fantastic! Service was slightly off this time, slow to order drinks, no wine list, silverware was hard to come by. Will give one more try but not during dinner rush to see if service improves.
Extremely poor service. Had to ask multiple times for previous course dishes to be removed. Server gave significant attitude when asked politely to remove used plates. Drinks not offered to be refilled. Had to chase down server to place additional drink orders. Food was well prepared and tasty. However at a restaurant that is in this price range good service is expected. I doubt will return. Too many other good choices available. Have eaten at the Ft Worth restaurant 8-9 times and have never experienced problems with service.
My husband and I always loved going to Del Friscos but we went for the first time after Covid and the service was not how it used to be. We ordered our food immediately as the waiter asked and were there for 2 hours. It took awhile to get our drinks as well. Food is still amazing but the service didn’t match the cost spent.
Celebrated my husband’s birthday. Food was great, the service was impeccable and the view was amazing.
Fancy and excellent
Loved this place. We had outside seating and loved it. The atmosphere, the food and the weather made the night nothing less than amazing!
I have always loved Del Frisco's....until now. The downtown Dallas location is the first one that disappointed. Decor is new but look dated and poorly set up. Service was bad and food was wrong...twice. Go to any other location for this restaurant but not this one.
The place is dirty.
We were two on the patio on the second floor.
The windows of the guards were filthy (probably not washed in weeks), the floor was partially destroyed with bits of paper lying around and bits of food.
The table did not have a clean appearance and smelled like it had been cleaned with a cloth that itself wasn’t cleaned for a couple of weeks. You know those smelly clothes. I cleaned the table with my hand sanitizer.
They brought us the bread. With 3 small plates (weird for 2 people). Two of the plates were dirty with old crumbles on it. We asked to exchange them, which they did.
(The others still a bit greasy)
Our starters took ages to come.
As the plan was to have each one glas of Chablis during starters, we had to order another glass (to share) as we had mostly finished ours.
The plan was also to have a botte of red wine to share during the main course. The chosen wine was not available. Which can happen. He opened the new bottle of red wine whilst we are in the middle of our starters (that we finally got) and us having white wine.
Main course takes long as well (but hey, we were not starving), and when it arrives (steak and a LobsterMac&Cheese) the lobsterMac$Cheese was cold.
The time it took to get the hot mac&cheese was after we had already eaten our steak. They gently identified that they had served a bigger portion to apologize.
Check came : only not our check, one from a complete different table
Our check: we were invoiced 2 portions of Mac&cheese!
When complained, they took 1 portion of.
I would have expected to take the Mac&Cheese completely off as we actually received it after our main course was already eaten/ I would also have expected to have received the one extra glass of Chablis that we shared complimentary, as this was due to the extreme long waiting. But no, instead that tried to charge us extra for the extra Mac and cheese replacement that had given us and that we did not order.
Sad wedding anniversary!!
I got the 8 oz. filet, the outside was like beef jerky and seared on VERY HIGH heat. My husband got the Bone in Filet and his wasn’t that great either, very dry. We cook better steaks at home and you could get a better one at Saltgrass, which is saying A LOT!
The Mac & Cheese was amazing, as were the potatoes. The waiter was upbeat at first, but you could tell he was overwhelmed when other guests started to arrive because the service went down and it was hit or miss on trying to get his attention.
James was our server and he was great!! He made great recommendations for our meal. He also had out ticket validated for parking. 5 star experience!!
The server started off really nice/funny. Then we waited for 30 mins for our drinks. The table next to us started getting angry and asked for a manager. After that table was complete, we were sent another waiter. Long story short, bad customer service and the food was cold. Bday dinner was ruined.
