Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse - Uptown
Very nice dining experience and may be the last dinner out in Dallas county as we were there Sunday night before the COVID-19 ban for dining in was put into effect. We'll be back as soon as the ban is lifted. Great food, nice view and attentive service! Well done, thanks!
Del Frisco’s is never a disappointment. Great food and great service in a great atmosphere. Beat crab cakes anywhere. Steaks cooked to absolute perfection. Service was phenomenal. Dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives was perfect. If I could give them more than five stars, I would.
Great for any occasion but awesome for Birthday’s! Wonderful staff and food
Wife and I came out for our anniversary. Everything seemed pretty typical and the hospitality was on par for what we usually experience at Del Frisco’s. But the Scallops were way under cooked, I brought it to my waiters attention and he seemed very hesitant to explain it to the chef. Said he would be getting into a fight with him over it. He finally took them back and they came back still under but we didn’t want to bother after that. (That type of rhetoric makes customers feel like they can’t have the best experience they pay for). The steak was very tight and tuff. I could barely bite through. I cook steaks professionally on the SCA tour. I brought up that my 45 day aged ribeye should be tender, he glossed over my complaint and didn’t come back. I gave up on the complaints and experience. I won’t be back.
I had arranged for the wait staff to run my credit card and not bring the bill to the table. There was some confusion so it took longer to resolve the bill than I had hoped. Over than that issue, it was great.
Way too expensive for what you get. I enjoy dining out but there are way too many good restaurants that are not near this expensive. We had two drinks each and dinner and my bill was over $300 for two people. At the end of the day, I would have enjoyed a fun Mexican dinner for $75 just as much as my $325.00 dinner. It really is just food.
Thank you for honoring my request for a quiet corner to allow us to celebrate a birthday and have wonderful conversation. From the time we were seated we had a wonderful experience. David, our server, was not only very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive, but a true delight. The food was outstanding! I have dined at Del Frisco's many other times, but you guys out did yourselves Saturday night. Thank you!
Overall it was great. our server was outstanding as was the food.
This was a really delicious meal, great cocktails and service. It is a little loud in the restaurant, though.
Our waitress was fantastic, and very attentive not to just us but every table. And she picked up small ques like water no ice, recommendations on side dishes... Overall so pleasant, definitely coming back again...
The server was very slow and they put us in the bar high tops for dinner service which was very loud and the chairs were uncomfortable
This is an institution in Dallas - a great steak house with exceptional service and the best cuts of meat you can find. It's the expectation and this spot usually delivers flawlessly.
They sat the 4 of us in a corner & forgot about us! One steak was ordered medium well & steak came to table as rare, highly disappointed.
It was our wedding anniversary. We were seated in one of the nice booths with a happy anniversary card and a complimentary glass of champagne. Server was very nice - attentive but not overbearing. Very enjoyable meal - scallops and crab cakes were delicious, as well as the Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. Since we are not champagne drinkers, we were given complimentary cake instead. Great night.
We love Del Frisco’s no matter the occasion!! Ryan and Lindsay do a wonderful job if taking care of us and Mali’s Ute we have a great experience!!
Have been to Del Frisco's several times...never at this location. I ordered the Prime Ribeye Steak. What I got was NOT prime meat. At best, it was Choice. It is tough, stringy, and full of fat. I only ate a quarter of the steak. The others at the table enjoyed their meals. The restaurant did the right thing by deducting the cost of the steak from the bill. What I really wanted was a good steak. Unfortunately, that did not happen Saturday night.
steak was way undercook and then way over cook salad was horrible will all letuce
Noah was such an amazing server, he made our evening perfect
My stepdaughter and I went for Friday evening Lenten dinner. Lots of great options to choose from. We ordered a LOT of them and it was all delicious. Dan and Sabo were spot on with their recommendations.
You might see us this Friday!
I absolutely love Del Frisco's and we enjoyed our birthday dinner celebration. Everything was great but at some point our server took forever to wrap our food up bring dessert, and bring our check. I think something happened at another table but that caused our server to be less attentive to us.
The Filet Trio special was delicious and we loved it for the mix of flavors, and toppings. Sides were spectacular as well. Very good (if pricey) wine list. Somm Brandon was helpful and attentive. Excellent meal and experience.
It was fantastic- absolutely love this restaurant
Simply a great experience! Drinks were superb. My wife (who NEVER gets dressing on her salad) couldn't possibly enjoyed the avocado dressing on Del's salad any more. Rebekah's service was impeccable. We shared the 12 ounce filet and it was cooked to perfection. A wonderful meal at a wonderful restaurant. We'll be back!
Been here multiple times. This time with surprisingly bad quality steaks- both of our gristly, with zero flavor. The onion rings dark brown- overcooked- I thought they were serving donuts. Music way too loud, but that is probably what they want for atmosphere. Will be a while before I go back
Great quality service. Food very good. Pretty loud in the restaurant but busy Saturday night.
Excellent service and most importantly the beef was exquisite! Definitely worth future visits!
Overall a pretty good experience. We feel ae though the waiter had too many tables to help with the experience we expected. This did not feel like the special night we expected. This was a dinner for my wife's 39th birthday. Noone asked what brought us in for the night or anything. Maybe thats not apart of your presentation but it's what we've grown to expect from such highly praised establishments. We will not go as far to say we wouldn't come again, just expected a better experience for the wife. We felt as though we were sitting at a bar with friends because we were so close to it. We hope this review is read. Thanks.
Our waitress was very attentive and even helped suggested some alternate items to try since my husband cannot have shellfish. It was his first time dining here and he loved it.
Our waiter wasn’t as good as we expected him to be. He didn’t come check on us Very often.
We even had another waiter come wait on us because he saw we didn’t get the service. But over all it was a good experience, but we just wished we had a better server.
After a failed attempt at another restaurant, we found Del Frisco's had availability and jumped on the opportunity. What a treat it was! They have a great wine list. The carpaccio was fantastic, my wife had the lobster (24oz), and I had the Sea Bass, both were tremendous. Top it with a very professional waiter and you have a winner!
The apps were very good, Wagyu is good, but don’t think because it’s on the menu and an option, that it’s better than a prime filet or any other prime cut... it’s just different. I got the seared tuna and it was missing part of the dressing to it, and after we received our main course our waiter did not come around for awhile, didn’t ask if we were happy or anything. I have had better seared tuna at Trulucks. But I also got Wagyu, so it’s not like I went to a steak house and didn’t get steak. Overall, I will never return on a Friday or Saturday night. I have been during the week when it was busy and it was a much quieter place and respectful of what you are paying of dinner. But Friday and Saturday they play very loud music to cover the clientele that comes in to drink and hang out for hours, not for a romantic date. And the music is not even good. Also, manager didn’t come by once to check on us, and that’s a usual thing for a nicer restaurant.
It’s was such a great dining experience for date night.
Ive been here a couple times, and they really struggle with steaks. This time we had a crap cake and scallops, both of which were terrific. The scallops were huge, seared perfectly on the outside and like butter on the inside. However, the steaks are just not good. Last time we got a filet and a ribeye-This time I tried a porterhouse. They were slightly over cooked, gristly, and just lacked flavor. I would come here for sea food, but avoid their beef.
Celebrated my fiancé birthday and we loved it.
Outstanding, the best food I have ever had. Beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere and service. Wish I could go back weekly.
Our Wedding Anniversary & Valentines
We’ve always had a wonderful experience here, but Valentine’s Day was not as lovely as previous experiences . No need to highlight the details as the manager made it right and we will return.
We visited Dallas and had a wonderful dining experience at Del Frisco. The wait staff was so attentive. Thank you!
