I just want some more of them filet medallions and them sides..they drinks so good, I’m definitely coming back
My husband and I came here for our anniversary on Friday night. Great food, great service and wonderful atmosphere- highly recommended!
Thanksgiving dinner...we had such high hopes. Food was terrible but overshadowed by the void in service. NEVER AGAIN.
I could not go home for the holidays so decided to have Thanksgiving dinner with my girlfriends here it was a great choice. Thank you for an awesome time
The food was just horrible. My lamb chops came out sitting in a pool of mustard. My wife’s fish had a bone in it. The cream corn was burnt and the lobster in my Mac n cheese and bisque was not fresh. We will not be back
Ryan was our server and he was amazing! Very knowledgeable about the wines and made great suggestions for food items.
Amazing food! Service was next level. Scallops a must!
Enjoyed our Anniversary dinner. Our waitress was sweet and vibrant made our dinner an awesome experience!
Took my family from out of town here. The Mac and cheese and drinks were amazing. Other than that we order chicken and it came not cooked fully, mine still had a huge spot that was bloody still. Everyone else ordered steaks, 2/3 came cooked differently and not to what was ordered.
Very disappointed for an upscale restaurant and pricy plates to receive food that is not up to par.
Family was not impressed and I probably will not be going back.
Host at host stand was rude and wanted to argue
Celebrating a milestone birthday
Wonderful, a great experience
Beautiful restaurant, attentive service and a delicious steak.
Horrible staff, rude and would not accommodate table request while the restaurant was dead and all tables were open. Food was terrible, Tuna was not fresh and bland.. the filet mignon was not a good cut and it was very small. Waiteress was horrible and kept coming every two seconds... no space to enjoy our dinner. It was a birthday the restaurant didn’t offer anything. Horrible experience.
Sat on Patio and glass railing looked like it was in a construction zone. So dirty people were writing on it. Outside is nice. Take 15 minutes to clean glass. Steaks were too salty and I love lots of salt. Salmon quality was marginal.
Service was very good.
Mal servicio y mala comida. Bonito lugar.
Took myself out to celebrate.
I ordered extra for take out but I forgot my take out food at the venue 😩
If COVID protocols are something your concerned about, know they follow all the safety rules. I had a party of six we were seated shortly after arriving on time. Wait staff was outstanding the entire night. The main waiter (Ryan??) was super, made a few suggestions when asked, made sure cocktails, water and wine were taken care of. Five had streaks and all were thrilled with their selection. Sea Bass was outstanding. While Calamari is a pretty basic appetizer the sauce it's served makes it worth while. Wine selection is solid and not over priced for a restaurant.
Waiter Sam was new and not ready to wait my table.
The dining experience was great! The staff was friendly and attentive.
The Waiter is the best
I once thought Del Frisco was a top steak houses in Dallas, which is why we planned a nice reunion here last week. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed in the attention to detail, the atmosphere but most of all, the steaks. Our server and the company were the only highlights of our night. It is unclear whether Covid-19 is playing a part in the quality of cooks, meat or both however when asked to cut into our steaks - we could not as the knives were dull. An embarrassing start. Ultimately getting two rounds of new knives, only to find out the steaks were flavorless pieces of meat that had more fat than meat on my bone-in slab of Prime Rib - and the lobster tails topping could not have been more bland (especially with the lack of butter we requested multiples for but never received). It was not until later that I found out my experience was shared by all parties. Nobody enjoyed the main entree which further explained why the sides (creamy corn, mashed potatoes, and Mac & cheese were the only plates left bare).
I will not be going back to this location any time soon, and will stick with Nick & Sams for all future steak nights.
Ryan took great care of us...Food was great!
Our waiter Noah was AMAZING!!! The lobster Mac and cheese is a MOST!!! All the food and desert was amazing. New favorite place to eat.
The ambience and the view of the downtown city street made our dinner quite nice. Unfortunately, the food was not good. I’m sorry. We visit many restaurants downtown (Truluck’s, Perry’s, Morton’s, Capital Grille, Al Bier bay’s etc,.) In comparison, we just didn’t like the food. Anytime you have to request more seasoning for the food, something is not right. We had the Salmon with Oscar and the Prime Porterhouse and we were not at all happy with the taste.
The restaurant is beautiful and we may have chosen the least tasty items on the menu. But we normally give a restaurant one time to win our service.
Unfortunately, I have to say our experience this past Saturday night was not great. To begin with, a waiter/waitress can make or break a dining experience. Ours was not the greatest. Seemed to be really slow with drinks and stopping by our table. We ordered shrimp cocktail and oysters on the half shell. They neglected to include seafood forks, and our waitress didn't come by in a timely manner for me ask for one. It seemed ridiculous to be eating raw oysters with a dinner fork (I know, call me crazy). Shrimp cocktail was cooked a little too long. Oysters had pieces of shell in them and were shucked pretty roughly. Our guest's steak wasn't cooked enough, and it took far too long to get a new one. Overall, it was just a ho-hum dinner which costs $600 for 4 people (2 drinks each). I don't know that we will be back...and will continue to frequent our other favorite Dallas steak and seafood restaurants.
Always a great spot. My go to for business lunch.
Excellent food and excellent service at both the bar and the table. Mike and Dan are always making the best drinks and Rigny made our table experience excellent as well.
My husband’s birthday and it was great!
Food was amazing , nice lil vibe
The quality of the food and service has truly decreased. I was very disappointed. It was not worth the money.
My husband and I celebrated our 37th Wedding Anniversary. We had a delightful experience. Our Waiter was excellent. The food was excellent.
Upon our arrival, the hostess at the front was very rude. I don’t normally use my maiden name. However, When I made the reservation, I forgot that Open Table used my maiden name and last name which I forgot. She kept saying, “We don’t have anyone by that name”, “We don’t have anyone by that name”. If it hadn’t been for the wonderful young lady next to her who said, “wait I do remember seeing that name”. She was our saving grace.
We had a wonderful time. Thank you so much for making our 37th Wedding Anniversary very memorable!
We ask for Ryan every time we go. Del's salad - do a split with your date or other. We got their special over the weekend and added U2 scallops. The special that they had then was an 8oz center cut filet with a crab cake on top. We added the lobster mac and cheese as a side. ALL excellent. TOPS in our dining experiences.
Disappointing to say the least. I've dined with my family here on multiple occasions, birthdays, Thanksgiving, other special occasions, this meal was my daughters choice for her birthday. First we were seated by the kitchen upstairs which was far from an ideal location, we all know that table, its the one where you either have unruly children, have made a late reservation, you are wearing the wrong outfit etc and someone wants to hide your party in the back....we requested to be moved. Ok, fine, all's well. No, not so much. The waitress got a attitude when after 20 minutes my husband asked where the appetizer we ordered before moving tables was - she didn't like that and it was obvious for the rest of the service. Now we get to the food. There were 4 steaks ordered, 1 lamb. The lamb was raw, the steaks were not cooked as requested either. We ordered creamed corn, asparagus and french fries. The only decent thing was the asparagus. The creamed corn looked and tasted like it wad been cooked 4 days ago. The lamb did go back to be cooked but we all shut up about the steaks as were tired of it all by then. I am not a habitual restaurant complainer, but when its an expensive meal, the expectations are a little higher than the taco shop down the road. Like I said, we have dined there many times, this was by far the most sub par food I've ever had. shame it didn't come with a sub par price tag. Del Frisco's - you need to do better if you want to stay open.
Very nice atmosphere, great food food, and awesome service! Will definitely be going back.
Waiter was amazing, and the food was great but I did not like the seasoning on the lamb rack... I guess it was part of the Colorado style seasoning but I just wasn’t a fan of it. The steak and desert were spectacular though. My wife and I will definitely be dinning in again.
We researched a few steak houses in Dallas to go to for my birthday. We decided on Del Friscos because of the ambiance in the pictures. When we arrived, we were immediately seated right next to a table of 4 and the entire restaurant was empty. We could hear every thing the table was saying to the point where we couldn’t carry on a conversation. We asked to move to a different table. When we sat at the new booth, all you could hear was the servers in the back talking in the kitchen and plates clinking. I would think for such a nice restaurant the ambiance would be better. It would have been embarrassing to ask to move again. We ordered our food and asked for the house Cabernet. The house Cabernet was about $22 for a glass. My boyfriend ordered the ribeye and had high expectations with it being a $70 steak. The steak was so thin and tough. We asked for our plates to go and the sauce we asked for wasn’t in the to go boxes. Overall, for how expensive this place was it absolutely was not worth the $300 bill.
We went for restaurant week and it was quite disappointing. No sides were provided even with the meal
Even though the menu said it would provide mashed potatoes. Our server didn’t tell us this nor ask us if we wanted any sides until well after our entrees came and we had to bring it up. My boyfriend up charged for the ribeye and when it came, it was entirely too fatty- it was a horrible cut of meat. For 60+ dollars, the ribeye better be pretty solid. So for way more than we expected to pay, it was just OK. I have been wanting to go here for so long and our first impression was lack luster.
