The valet is not currently open so we had to park in the garage and walk in the rain. The service was very slow and we had to hunt down our server several times. The food was not as good as usual.
I came here yesterday to celebrate Father’s Day with my daughter as I am a single mom so I am both mom and dad but our experience this time around wasn’t good. Service was horrible I couldn’t figure out who our waiter/waitress was, our food didn’t come out for about 1 1/2 hours and ended up taking it Togo, Out salad had a hair in it. Overall my experience at the Dallas location wasn’t all too well. I had better service and experience at the Frisco location.
Restaurant didn’t feel classy clean or orderly.
Clumsy staff at desk Mediocre Landry’s feeling experience. It’s clear Del Frisco DE is no longer an “preferred” dining experience.
Severely understaffed for the reservations they accepted.
Do not recommend outdoor seating in summer.
Took over one hour seated to get a drink/appetizer.
The Dodd was great however the side came 20 minutes after the meat/main dish was served.
It was Father’s Day so make that was the reason. Our waiter was awesome.
Took my husband for Father’s Day and it was amazing. The food was delicious, the staff was great. All around great place
Celebrated a Birthday. Everything was outstanding!
Had a great experience for father day, I will definitely be returning here.
Our server was very friendly and accommodating. She recommended the VIP cocktail and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious! I’d definitely come dine again.
I don’t know if they lost servers to covid, or they just don’t have trained servers. We went for a nice Father’s Day dinner. The waiter forgot to put in our order. He finally did, entrees arrived, then the sides 10 minutes after that. We ordered wine with dinner and that was forgotten too. All we wanted was to get the check and leave at that point. No one would bring the check until they saw us get up and leave. Yes - they discounted our meal but we went out for a nice dinner with the intention of having a nice bottle of wine and service - none of that happened.
Average quality food, expected better quality for level of cost. Felt as though their meat supplier offered low quality low cost bone in Rib-eye. Given location and price point I would recommend one of many other uptown restaurants.
Took my father here for Fathers Day and we loved it. Nice place and service is great.
Thanks for an amazing meal and birthday dinner for my wife!
Food and service was great!! Butter cake! Was amazing
Booked an early Father's Day dinner for my husband. Seated by the window with. Nice view.
We had reservations, so was seated immediately.
Our waitress Crystal was warm, friendly and attentive.
Our dinner started with freshly made Lobster Bisque soup and fresh buttered rolls 😋
(Best Lobster bisque and rolls)
My husband had the 12 oz filet and augratin potatoes... I ordered the filet medallions with mashed potatoes and string beans.
The steaks are always tender and perfectly prepared.
We brought home the banana bread pudding for later.
Del Frisco's is our Favorite Fine Dining Restaurant. It's the place we celebrate Anniversaries, Birthdays and Holidays.
Sometimes is kind a bit of annoying that the waiters give their speech about their recommendations of food when we are ready to order
Service was great. Mason was great again. Makes the meal very enjoyable.
We were welcomed with open arms. It was our 37th wedding anniversary and they bent over backward to make us happy and comfortable
This was our first meeting since COVID started last year. I am a Restaurant Executive who recommended Del Frisco’s downtown Dallas as an option to our attorney. Please note, there are two other locations that I could have chosen. We arrived at 11:30am to beat the lunch rush. We were seated after all of the confusion at the host stand. We asked to sit in a “socially distant” section. Our server came and was polite and courteous. He brought our drinks and took our order in a timely matter. Upon his return to our table at 12:23pm our attorney asked for our food after we have watched everyone get their food, I asked him about the mosquitos that we and him have been swatting for the past hour. He stated without surprise, “Oh yeah, I’ll let the manager know.” Our food came out 15 minutes later, as we watched our server cater to other tables with food and drinks. This was a terrible experience and we do not appreciate being treated like second class citizens. I would encourage that a remedy is provided for an experience that is unacceptable. If not, I will certainly post this information on social media for my colleagues of all races to see how we and how they can be treated if they visit this location.
Great Filet Mignon and Prime Steak. Cooked exactly as ordered. The salads as appetizers were a perfect complement, and so we’re the ultra thick asparagus to die for. The place does seem very procey, so price/value equation not quite there yet.
Made the drive in from Austin just for dinner. Love the Wagyu!
Husband’s birthday- went with couple friends. Got moved from a bar too table to a lovely booth at my request. Very accommodating. Delicious food. Friendly wait staff. Great ambiance.
The food was great , no complains.
We were sat at a booth upstairs right beside the door to outside patio, so we were hot , as A/C is working overtime for nothing with the door to outside opening every other minute.
Also because of that I assume, the A/C vent kept dripping water on my head the whole meal, which I mentioned but was told I should just try to position myself on the booth away from where AC was dripping.
Chelsea was our server, but was apparently assigned a private party as well and so it was hard to locate her when needed.
Ryan was the best waiter had the best recommendations and new everything on and off the menu.
Del Friscos Dallas have a great problem with the air conditioning, they need to fix the problem as soon as possible. It is to hot
We made reservations day of for my wife’s birthday and as always the service, ambience and food was perfect. It took a little while for them to seat us but the host found a spot for us to wait at the bar where we got drinks and we seated shortly after. Always my go to for good food and impeccable service.
Loved it!! An awesome date night spot! Loved the energy and food was outstanding!!
Awesome time as always - amazing food
Continues to go downhill with corporate ownership. Nothing special anymore. Food was the worst we have at a Del Friscos in 25 years. Go back to the old bread.
Good was old horrible and made us sick!! Will not recommend.
Food and service were excellent. Atmosphere, nobody wants Instagram girls flashing cameras at each other and all those around you all night. It’s very annoying and I’m not sure why the restaurant allows it. In the bar, maybe…..during a very expensive meal, just no. It’s extremely low class.
We were looking for a quiet, romantic spot with great food & excellent service for our first date night in months. Del Frisco’s & our server, Jennie B, exceeded our expectations. We will be back again this summer.
Dan and the people behind the bar were awesome, fast and attentive service and great recommendations on what to order!
Our server (don’t remember his name) was awesome. The food was great! Cooked at the right point. I like the cream spinach best at Nick&Sams. The cheese cake and raspberry sorbet were beyond excellence. I went to Papas Bros last week to give it a try. I will never go back and stick with Del Frisco (more value for the money) and Nick&Sams (expensive but still good). Thank you!
We had reservations at 9:45pm. Showed up and informed there were no tables to have a seat at the bar. Sat at the bar for 20 mins before approaching the hosts counter. To be informed we were forgotten and in the system as seated. When in fact we had been waiting for a table. Now that we were seated after the kitchen closed we got looks like it was an inconvenience we were seated and now keeping them longer. Had to order immediately since the kitchen was closed. Our server was great, but the overall experience I would never go back to this restaurant.
It all started when we walked in... nobody at the hostess stand - for 5 minutes. We were told our table wasn’t ready (even though we had a reservation and I’d say at most it was 50% full) and we should go to the bar to wait. Go to the bar and have a drink, and they come up to seat us. But they say they won’t transfer the tab, got to close it out first. That takes forever because the people behind the bar just aren’t paying attention. Get seated, table is wobbly, it’s literally 10 minutes before we see the waiter. Waiter brings bread with honey over the top but no utensils/napkins, keeps forgetting to bring something to fix the table. Literally crawls under the table for 2 minutes trying to fix it...sort of wondered if he was looking up my dates skirt. I could go on and on, but I’ll just say, the service was beyond awful all night. The food was well below par. Crab cake was undercooked as was my steak. There was a ton of lobster shell in the lobster Mac. The butter cake was not warm and it was stale. I told the waiter what I thought of everything - politely but firmly. The manager wandered by, I don’t think because the waiter mentioned how bad it was, just dumb luck. Asked me how was everything, so I told him too. Again, politely but firmly. I Told them both I wasn’t really looking for a price break, but that this was so far below par it was ridiculous, and I felt obliged to explain it to them. Even though I wasn’t asking for a break on the check, one has to assume when you have an experience that bad in a high end restaurant they’re going to do something for you, but unbelievably, they didn’t even make a small concession on the check. I paid it, left a 10 buck tip on $250 tab (and even at that felt like I was being too generous) and left in disgust. I’ll never go back. There are too many great steak houses in Dallas.
It was packed with many patrons dressed way too casual in workout attire with ball caps on. There is a dress code sign displayed at hostess station and online, but it obviously is not enforced. Very inappropriate attire for an upscale, expensive eatery. This depreciates the ambiance and vibe. We had a similar experience here last year, so we won’t be returning.
The food, cocktails and atmosphere were really good. The service was terrible. It took a long time for someone to first come and greet me and take a drink order. Then every time we wanted something, it took a long time for the waiter to return to the table and then another very long wait to get what we requested. Loved the food but walked out of there about 4 hours after first arriving.
Great place to eat, wonderful food.
