   From the Hostess greeting to the desserts, our evening could not have been better. Our waiter Paul was very attentive and on point the entire evening. An excellent start to the weekend.

   We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. Paul was a great server. Food was great and the entire staff was very attentive and helpful

   Everything was good until there was a miscommunication on the food order. We wanted to order the surf and turf off the menu which was less expensive than the surf and turf “special” off the menu. Our waiter mistakenly assumed we wanted the off the menu special and,, as a result, we paid $60 more than we were expecting to pay. The waiter could have offered us a discount since there was obviously a difference in the menu entree and the special entrees. In fact, we pointed out that we wanted the menu entree and NOT the special entree. He didn’t offer us anything. Disappointing for a very expensive restaurant.

   Don’t try to put 5 guys in a 4 person booth….geeeze. And if you make the Manhattan wrong on the rocks vs on a cube, don’t just pour the mistake on the cube…it’s watered down.

   The first time going to Del Frisco's we had an unforgettable time. They made us gluten-free bread from scratch, hot and fresh. Our meal was the lamb and prime steak (forgot the cut, was back in 2014). Cocktails where amazing and we had to walk off how much we ate before getting into a car again. This time, we waited for 10-25 minutes to be seated for our reservation, which was not the worst since they were busy with a few business meals. I can give them grace on that. For the meal, our salad was ok. My wife and I had the heirloom tomato & burrata salads. They were ok, but the real let down was the gluten-free bread they brought out. It was like a sad hot dog bun cut diagonally. It was soggy on the bottom and was not great. I have had better frozen bread from Wal-mart than that soggy mess. We then sat there for over an hour waiting for our main course. Thus, pushing back our plans later in the evening, we had already bought tickets for. The lamb order was served with cauliflower and peas, which was odd and did not match the flavor of the lamb. The steak was good, and I had it with sautéed mushrooms. The cocktails were still great, but when the bartender does a better job at not screwing up an order than your cooks, you have a problem. I chose this place for the memory, and I was served a meal I might was well gone to Chili's for. 1/10 will not be going back for a while.

    You know when you go out on a Holiday the experience will be good, but not necessarily great? Well, Del Frisco, Plano.....YOU DID OUTSTANDING! Our server, Paul, was fantastic. The room we were in was of good size and lovely and not overly noisy. THE FOOD? Just fantastic. Everyone's meal was perfectly prepared and very yummy. THE DRINK recommendations...FABULOUS ALSO!!!! Thank you Paul!!!! Our family had a fun time, ate well, enjoyed every minute of our time at your restaurant! You are our FIRST Steakhouse Choice!!! Thank you for making our day absolutely wonderful. PS....did I say that all the food was perfectly prepared. The surf and Turf...AMAZING! The Tuna..OMG!....And the sweet potato casserole.....You do not need desert!
