Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse - Philadelphia
Nice date. Not as nice as I hoped. Steak wasn’t as great as I have had before. Still a good overall experience
Delicious mean with top notch service.
the food and service was amazing and exactly what I wanted the way I wanted
This was my first time at this restaurant. I was there to celebrate my birthday that day. Once all of my party arrived we were seated immediately. The ambiance was good, the staff were friendly even though it was a busy night. The food was delicious!! I will definitely be back soon.
As usual Del Frisco’s was amazing. Our waiter was great! So attentive and funny. Brought me my birthday dessert. The food tasted so good! A very lovely evening with friends.
It was a great experience
I think it personally wasn't for me. The meatloaf was subpar. The salmon was delicious but the sauce wasnt needed. The lobster bisque was great. The mashed potatoes was great as well. Loved the service and ambiance. Just dont feel it was worth the effort of going there.
I had hair in my food and it took the staff three times to cook my steak to my preference. I’ve been to many steakhouses and I have never had this type of experience. I will not be going back.
The only problem my guest and I experienced was the long wait in getting our meal served, which made our return back to work late.
Yes would recommend, am coming in again next week.
Great meal for Restaurant Week lunch. Service was great for most part. We had a show to catch which we made our waiter aware of. Realize it was very busy by the time we needed to leave but it took way to long to get check and then pay. Had to now rush to get to theatre.
Steak was cooked perfectly and our service was impeccable. Joe really took care of us,
We went for restaurant week and it was delicious! I just assumed the portions would be small but nope. Every part of the meal was good and nice sized portions. I even took food home. The food and service was great!
It truly never disappoints. It was a bonus to be able to dine during restaurant week. Service was exceptional.
Waiter Darell was great
The historic building was magnificent. The food and drinks were delicious. Our only disappointment was the bread. With all of the delicious bakeries in Philadelphia we feel Del Frisco’s could take it up a notch.
Service and food were excellent. We love this restaurant and come here whenever we are in town
Amazing. I’ll definitely recommend it to friends and colleagues.
This was an incredible restaurant! The view from our table was amazing and we very much enjoyed the food.
Restaurant week wasn't their best effort. The food was not up to par.
Went for restaurant week and ended up going with the lobster bisque, filet mignon and the chocolate mousse. The bisque was very light and flavorful; could have had a bit more lobster but that's my personal preference. I enjoyed that it wasn't overly "goopy" and wasn't overly salted either. Filet was fantastic, had it medium and it was cooked masterfully. The chocolate mousse had notes of bitterness but was still decadent and very chocolatey! We ended up having drinks as well, Manhattan was fantastic and some Hennessy (neat) with our steak. Our server was very attentive and always asked how the food tasted but was also patient when we asked questions. Overall a fantastic night, would definitely recommend. Go with someone you care about and share a fantastic meal!
We truly enjoyed our experience and the food was fabulous.
Hands down the BEST steakhouse in Philly! Service is second to none. Always an incredible meal.
Superb food at a great value (It is Restaurant Week!) Don't miss this spot for lunch. We are considering returning next week too. Del Frisco's knows steaks!
Even though the food and service at this restaurant are wonderful, the beauty and outstanding architecture of the room are worth the trip. Assistant General Manager Nicholas Phelps went out of the way to ensure we had a great dining experience.
I feel like the food was not that great because it is Restaurant Week. I feel like they dont give the best quality of food being as though it's so reasonable. The filet was not seasoned and the mashed potatoes were super dry. I won't revisit again during Restaurant Week. The strawberry pecan cheesecake was amazing.
It was fantastic!
Great food! Excellent cocktails and the venue was lovely.
We were seated in the wine vault which was lovely. The table to the right of ours, was a party of 10. They were talking and laughing very loud. It was hard for us at our table to enjoy our own group.
The food was delicious. We were excited to experience this restaurant for Philly Restaurant week. It was my first time going. However the server failed to mention that the added toppings offered for the filet were as much as the entire meal. So it wasn’t until we got our bill that we saw our $35 restaurant week charge (for the three courses) and offered topping of $36. Really disappointed the server failed to mention that before the meal, it would have been easy to do. Most restaurants do, adding “it’s an extra $$ for this, is that okay?” would have worked. But we will not be returning to this restaurant, whether it’s restaurant week or not because of the carelessness of the server. Feels like we were tricked.
The food was good as usual. Our waiter Brandon was very nice. He even made sure the food for one person was right due to a food allergy. It was a little cold in the restaurant but other than that everything was just fine.
I've been to Del Frisco's a few times before and was pleased with my experience, up until now. I took my family out for my mother's birthday during restaurant week. They offered us space in the Vault, and my mother agreed. They sat us between two large parities. It was noisy and difficult for us to chat, along with feeling like we were forgotten. Our waiter was friendly and nice but we watched couples get served and leave before us, although we had been seated much earlier. We waited over 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken, then waited about the same to get our drinks. My mother's drink was way too strong and needed to be sent back. The food was good but not worth the wait. I had to go up to the desk to get our check. When I complained about feeling forgotten in the mix, I was offered that the experience would not happen again next time. You're right, because I won't come back.
Del Frisco’s is my favorite steakhouse in the city.
They wouldn’t seat us because we stuck in traffic n was 15 min later
We all LOVED our dinner this our favorite restaurant! I asked if we would be able to be down in the vault when I made the reservation, when we got there it was not available. Dana at the front was kind enough she saw that there was availability there, she made it work for us. We all had a wonderful time in the vault for my wife’s birthday!
Second time here and the service was a great first time as the second. Very crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. Food was great and our server was excellent.
The experience was great. Food was outstanding. The only negative was the cold air coming through the entrance.
Such a great dining experience. It was a great fellowship the service was excellent. Erica was very courteous and helpful. She answered all of our questions. She even gave us a few recommendations. From the moment we entered the restaurant the staff greeted us and escorted us to our seat. The appetizers to the meal the service was excellent the food served hot and delicious. Calamari appetizer sweet and spicy delicious. The ribeye and side yumtastic. The steak cooked wonderfully like butter melt in your mouth. I recommend this restaurant to anybody. A special occasion evening out with the girls. A birthday celebration. Just a really nice place to celebrate. Great service great food and great fun.
Our waiter, Darnell (believe that was his name) was outstanding, polite and on point.
Excellent place for an intimate birthday celebration. Well done food, service and atmosphere for a more high end dining experience.
